yeah we're really bad about explaining things sometimes even though we started gm farcaster explains and we didn't we kinda like have it really we need to get that going again we need to get that going again but storage units are instead of advertising the way in which the protocol is allowed to continue is by you purchase your storage so essentially the way in which you keep your cast your followers all those things that take storage up they take some compute you're paying for that so when you sign up you get one storage unit i believe when you first sign up and then you can purchase more if you find that you need more so one is usually probably plenty for most people but for others you might need more and there is actually is it farcaster user stats or is it no there's a different one there's a different size next

way to check right to check where your storage is at that's what i was trying to remember is where we check that i think it might actually be in the profile

partially i'm a likore i don't think about it i just know that my old ones are gonna get replaced and that is what it is so when you when you run out of something you'll hit some kind of block but you may not even realize it so with likes when you max out on likes you your old likes just disappear start to disappear and be replaced with i think the same thing happens with casts i believe with follower think you just hit a limit and you can't no one else is it you can't follow anybody else yeah you just can't follow anyone else so i've definitely hit my likes i hit my likes very quickly i'm maxed out even with 4 units i'm maxed out on likes

but this related to this to me you had posted yeah you had posted this the bank list has a new frame where you can check and see if you have something claimable in their airdrop hunter that you can claim and then this is a little callback to adrian's orig adrian said but i have money now this is rob should i do it so when adrian was dropped the very original first airdrop she was like why should i claim it and it's like well it's actually worth some money and she's like yeah but i have money

and i love that so i so what do you so in terms of like the claimables that are gonna be available on the airdrop hunter they may not be worth your time so on that point you're right because it's it's not always worth it depending on what it is and i do like that you thought about you know dj's like well there's a thoughtful dev behind it and that's what got you interested and i always thought that was that was kind of a a good approach

yes a thoughtful farcaster dev so you can go check these out but i have no idea if they're worth claiming but i do think it's interesting what i do think is interesting is that bankless is starting to integrate a little bit more into farcaster and this is one example of that which i think is interesting to see them sort of making that that move

i get in trouble so i think this is gonna get interesting i think i'm really excited about tomorrow's chat for those who aren't familiar when he's talking about rounds if you haven't run into rounds yet this is the new version of prop house that was created by nouns that runs within channels so you can set up and purple has one going on right now so if you're applying to the purple retro round this time around you're doing it within the purple channel so you don't have to leave warp cast it still needs some work in my opinion and there's more improvements to come but it does allow for you to create a pool of funds and then allow anyone to essentially through their likes and you can pinpoint who that is it can be just those within the channel who hold a certain token it can be anyone at all anyone with an active fid can can vote and essentially you're voting with your likes and then a percentage of based on the percentage of likes goes to that person from whatever the pool of funds is that's being distributed so interesting you know it's just another interesting approach and to see like all these tools working together and figuring out how channels can be monetized interesting approaches so more on that tomorrow so yeah i'm excited i'm excited that you got jtgi to wake up too early enough to stay awake

i don't either just trying to generate content i guess without having to do any work but as we know broadcaster requires proof of work you're not gonna get very far with that this from kekers and i haven't finished reading this article but really interesting so far zoom catter's jack dorsey really said those people on blue sky are losers but what happened is people started seeing blue sky as something to run to away from twitter it's the thing that's not twitter and therefore it's great and blue sky saw this exodus of people from twitter show up and it was very very common crowd so this was an article called the end of social media an interview with jack dorsey and he talked about a lot of different things but what i thought was really interesting and i was not aware of was that the reason for some reason i thought blue sky was a reaction to elon buying twitter but it was not it was already in progress for a while and but it was really about creating decentralized protocol for a social app which i thought i'm like everything i was reading in there was like reading about farcaster in terms of what their goal was at the beginning and it's really interesting because jack dorsey is also very anti crypto except bitcoin
