okay so and actually i should probably share let me see if i can find an aries cast yeah let me share this first american voters want to update the system the real work begins now and this was very interesting we do have now 227 pro crypto candidates elected and 14 in the house of representatives and 14 in the senate so that was really good news and this relates to sort of what what has been happening along the lines of packs and lobbying for the crypto industry things like stand with crypto that have been doing the work for years to try and educate candidates and current members of congress around crypto so this was from chris dixon this was yesterday today we're contributing over $23,000,000 in additional funds to fair shake and its affiliated pacs for the 2026 midterm election cycle yes yes we're already talking about the election 2 years from now yes that's correct yesterday before that one was over no matter what happens on election day we are taking a long term approach to our policy efforts contributing to fair shake is just one important component to achieving our ultimate goal of achieving clear laws to govern the crypto industry while protecting consumers and allowing entrepreneurs to build with confidence many industries come to dc asking to roll back rules and we have come to dc asking to establish them you can read my full thoughts here and there's a link to chris dixon's full discussion on this so i do think that's a really positive thing that's come out of this past cycle is there has been a lot more education around crypto and i do think and i thought this and i said this last week like regardless of who ended up in the white house we're gonna see some more crypto friendly policies coming out because honestly the legislature is where we really need more of that anyway because that's where the laws are gonna come from so this is you know good good news very good
yeah and i don't understand the anti crypto stance i don't i think it's a lack of knowledge stance it's like yeah it's like that'll get me votes i'm gonna come out anti like i i under whatever
yeah i agree i've never understood that because it's it it's not gonna get the money votes so it's never made sense to me but like i don't think there's a huge contingency of people who are like you'll get my vote as long as you're anti crypto like that's i don't think it's i think there's people on the other side of that the pro crypto who that they might be single issue voters but i don't think anyone's a single issue voter on the other side yeah so it is a weird yeah makes no sense makes no sense but here we are so poly market had a good day so this was this was an ad that they had kind of floating around social media pre to the before the election and it was pretty striking but i i think it's really important again to mention polly market is not a poll and what might be why it was more accurate it's also not a poll it doesn't reflect like any outcomes per se so in terms of numbers like you can't win 100% of all the vote in the election ken in polly market so there you go so that was pretty interesting and this is from helena just had to explain to a friend that polly market election map does not reflect the actual votes or even polls it does not yeah that map's gonna look very different than any other map even now because it is gonna say 100 so it's not 100 but it was interesting to see that you could see movement i it was very interesting watching the movement like when it seemed like it was going you know towards harris and then the flip back to trump so that was very interesting to watch that sort of play out and i am still surprised i'm still surprised that it was as definitive as it was like i'm surprised that we have a we know the outcome today i did not anticipate that i really thought we were going to have a few days of uncertainty so i am grateful for that as well we

yeah i think they're in india so no matter what keep building so that's a good thing but back to a few more notes from or rather memes from the election okay so for those who missed the context of this yesterday morning the day before the election nate silver came out with a tweet i almost said a cast a tweet that said we ran 80,000 over 80,000 simulations and over 40,000 came out for harris but it was like 40,011 or something like that it's a little over half so they called the election the polls saying that she was going to win so this spawned the new meme meta of i ran 80,000 simulations and the various things that happened next so this was from rainbow we ran 80,000 simulations this morning rainbow was the best wallet in them in all of them and this was from p vista i ran 80,000 simulations and boy boy came out on top every time and then we had this from horse facts actually i ran 8 the 80,000 and 1 simulations but your sound cool too thank you thank you and then this from samantha there are no simulations i love you we love you too
