Creator Rewards Update Farcaster is changing our rewards program to match how the Base rewards program works. Casts posted from the Farcaster app will count towards Farcaster rewards points while casts posted from the base app will count towards Base's rewards system. 


 What if I use Recaster or some other Farcaster app? If you are an indie or early-stage team building on the Farcaster protocol, we will include casts from your app in the rewards program. Why are we doing this? 

 Base’s new creator rewards program gives out rewards only for casts from the Base app. As of today, Farcaster gives out rewards to any casts posted from any app. We think a fair approach is for each client to incentivize users to participate in their app. Users benefit from competition between apps, and can choose which one they want to participate in.
