we are live gm farcaster it is tuesday i almost said monday december 5th and i'm here with adrianne for 21 minutes of farcaster news to start your day adrienne how are you this morning what's going on

no no poor arjun was looking for us yesterday though so apparently at least our most loyal fan we did not communicate it well to so that's unfortunate we'll do better we'll we'll do better about that

exactly yep and so i did update that and we did push up a little notice we should be on our regular schedule for the rest of this week anyway so so wednesday friday we'll be back and we have lots of fun things to chat about so first up we have to talk about supercast supercast went live yesterday at supercast.xyz

and this was from woj after getting to 13 paying customers 100 beta users a 149 mentions on farcaster 6 weeks of grinding i'm excited to announce that supercast is live and open for everybody what is supercast and why am i building it supercast is a farcaster client for growth managers founders and content creators if you want to grow on farcaster and warcast is missing some features that you need there is a good chance that i have them on the road map i'm building it because farcaster is the single coolest thing in crypto since ethereum okay it's a big it's a big statement woj big one if i discovered eth earlier in my life i would be building a wallet i'm lucky to be early to farcaster so i want to build the best client i believe starting with supercast is the way to do it if you want to learn more about supercast right now and you are in luck since he has 4 video tutorials over the past few days so this is like the big news it's really exciting adrienne have you tried supercast yet

i'm gonna go install supercast right now i know i it was just the timing of this was not great for me because i was traveling and everything and i don't know why i should have really pushed to get on the beta and i don't know why i didn't because i so i did ask d'wuffy had posted that he was on he was using supercast does you know does like it i think there's you know things that are gonna come along and change but we do have some he has noted there's some folks who are using it and guess what this channel is officially called football in supercast so one of the folks who is using it is k mac to schedule to schedule posts in the football channel and woofy is leading the outcasters leaderboard while while rocking supercast so that's pretty cool and a few other notes supercast road map includes video uploads it's been a lot of discussion about that drafts and threads composing engagement and now analytics keyboard shortcuts and fast farcaster sign ups on web if you like or you want to influence it join the tg chat so we're we're just a little behind on this one we're usually like one of the first people to try stuff and we're just the timing just was a little off so hopefully by tomorrow one of us will have that time to dig in a little bit or at least watch the video tutorials

this one was really gorgeous like there was some amazing landscapes so keep those up i love seeing all those especially you know the way they were curated this week it was it was stunning my it's really funny if you go back and look at last week's the one i curated the first like i don't even know 5 or 6 are all memes so it's a little different vibe a very i have a very different vibe but it was it's a it's a really good one and then going back to kekers who is in the top 3 this week when mental health down my performance on this chart up and that was a little sad actually that made me a little sad i know she's been having a a little bit of a a tough run here and and been posting a lot so it's it's interesting to see that though that on the plus side of that that if you're doing that you must be helping in some way so it either by processing whatever's going on or i don't know so hopefully maybe the network is is helping i don't know or it's a distraction who knows

i you know it it depends on it doesn't impact me directly i would say but it can be reflective of what i'm going through so i i won't tend to post more on social media if i'm going through something personally behind the scenes i'll actually do the opposite you'll see me kinda pull back a lot so that's kinda just the way i i kinda handle things i'm just a much more you know private person in that way and if i did it would likely be on it would not be likely on farcast or twitter it would be more likely on like facebook because that to me is where the family is right my family my friends from high school that kind of thing but even then i probably would so yeah that's kind of my thinking on that but i you know there's a lot of folks who you know do express what's going on and and hopefully they can find some folks who can help with whatever's whatever's you know out there whatever's happening at that moment yeah your thoughts on that

no and i i think that's true for everyone right you you know and i say this you know it's funny because this week i'll see i'll meet a lot of people that i've never met in person before while i'm at art basel and i always say that like when i you know when i'm in those situations like people know professor you know professor you really do and it is who i am it is an authentic part of me but you probably don't know kelly you probably don't even know that's my name who and you probably never know exactly so there's you know and that's like when you meet me in person you start to meet that part of me as well so it's just a different you know building of a relationship so it just takes time sometimes

absolutely you know it's really interesting and this kinda tacks onto something you pulled i didn't post this one but i i it was my it was my cast but you actually curated it i posted something on paragraph about the fields around the biological clock but it was inspired by boys club and their one of their podcasts and that this is actually what they were talking about so they were talking about dina struggling with going through like whether or not to have another child but part of that discussion was also talking about you know going out in the world you're not necessarily want to put all of your personal life out there too so you don't wanna necessarily go out in the world as a mother you wanna go out in the world as you and when you're especially when you're in a more business y professional kind of environment so that i think you know in these spaces we do only see the aspects that people are comfortable sharing and that and they're comfortable showing so we get you know i am definitely you get way more of me on farcaster than any other media platform so yeah you know but it's still only a piece

and i debated it and i was like should i put this piece in here but i was you know i've started to think about and this actually relates directly to farcast her channel is one of the things that i have to offer in my current age is that i've been through some stuff and there's a lot of younger women you know in their twenties and early thirties who are you know primarily those who are interacting on farcaster it's like if i can be helpful with what i've been through you know maybe i need to share that and it's not necessarily something that i would just be like hey let me tell you about this but if it makes sense in the context i'm probably gonna be more way more likely to share it on farcaster than i would elsewhere and it's because of all that connection and that's kinda another reason that inspired it and also the discussion we had at the farcaster meetup and talking about women's health and the research around it and how that's you know so limited it also kind of you know pushed me to go you know this is something that maybe i should share because maybe somebody has a question maybe it'll come up for them and i can be helpful in some way so that was a part of it as well so yeah but it was a little different for me it was a lot it wasn't something i normally share i

yeah i was just gonna say you know there was a suggestion that maybe we need a you know a a particular one for that because it could be again because it could be helpful it could be helpful to somebody so that might be you know something we'll we'll explore i did think that was a great idea and again that's all coming from that seniors right all from that building on each other and and sort of like me being inspired by boys club and then inspiring if we move on to this you know pod and it's like we keep building on and that to me is the power of farcaster but also the power of decentralization and web 3 and all that we're doing here so

you know and that's interesting so i would you know although i you know didn't even bring this thing i wasn't where i was intending to go but i would highly recommend if this is this topic is interesting you go listen to that boys club podcast and because i really think it it talked a lot about how you know you don't putting yourself out in the world when you're pregnant it's all anyone wants to talk about but to your point maybe now that's not a detriment you know who knows maybe that's gonna be a positive so maybe we shift the shift the pendulum a bit

we'll take it because usually it's the same thing i've always been like we don't i don't talk about my kid at work i don't you know what i mean like not every once in a while but it's not like the focus because i try to keep that a little bit separate because there are those folks especially older generation who see that as your your focus isn't gonna be here then at work and that's not good and like they don't see that you can balance but but anyway so that's been you know i'm hoping that trend is going in a different direction but there are still always those choices and decisions to be made so alright really quick we've got a we got a boogie we've got a few things to to chat about we've got a few people who have been putting some farcaster wraps together walter is one of them farcaster wrapped nfts are here he needs some help to get these on chain so if you can help him out jump in there dan had a great tip here if you want maximum distribution for your cast on war cast cast it in a channel no channel it just goes to your followers in a channel it goes to your followers and in the channel feed and the global algo boost if it hits engagement threshold or in other words just recast it vrun for people who want dc direct cast on web do you prefer no encryption it would ship this month encryption added later other farcaster clients could integrate next year or encryption takes another 6 to 12 months because blocked on google chromecast key support so if you have thoughts on that please jump on that cast and give your thoughts on that and one more thing where they'd like your opinion how are people feeling about spam on a 1 to 10 scale 1 not an issue 10 existential issue and we're out of time but i wanna end on that so what do you think about the spam right now heavy it's there medium it's there

it's fine that's how i feel it's like i see it every once in a while but it's not interfering with my daily use and so

it's just not low engagement it's people trying to farm warps it's what it feels like
