i wrote i wrote down 3 potential things that inspired me that i thought maybe i'd bring up but cool i'll start with
the announcement or the update that warp cast is now taking
or it's a beta feature so i guess that means it's only on the test flight version is that what it means do we still have a test

yeah that's i thought this looked really interesting and tied in with apple store with like with the with the apple store so like that i thought was really interesting too yeah because you're you definitely take out some friction for being able to charge directly on farcaster which is really interesting i think that opens up a lot of possibilities what what else have you any other comments on that that you've seen that like of applications for that like how people might use it
i don't even know i mean i think it just opens up a whole world of potential so and and you know my i always approach things from just wanting to understand like how the tech works and that was one of the reasons why i was so drawn to blockchain and and crypto it was just kind of like how just from a technology perspective what it means so i'm always wanting to understand and and i'm not a developer anymore i don't i'm not hands on but i i i kinda still wanna be able to understand fundamentally how things work so i have some questions i think at some point i wanna i gotta dig into it you know i see the announcements i kind of understand it and then i'm like okay well let me find i gotta spend the time to to really understand what that means mhmm but i think it also means just being able to bring people into farcaster who aren't crypto native who don't have wallet who don't understand
right yeah so so it it's exciting that's what i just do yeah but yeah
and i do see so i know that for twitter that they are
our stream went offline why i don't know everything's going interesting unless we just have the delay when i went offline for a second so i we are still recording so we are good there
that's odd let me see if it's coming up now so i know that twitter is in this process of no it's back we're good we're good it might have just been that when i restarted to make sure it was kicked in kicked in so i know that twitter is planning to be like the everything app right so or i'm sorry x i'm sorry elon i meant x it's planning to be the everything app and i don't know much about wechat i don't know if you do but it's something in china in asia that is used everywhere that apparently that's what elon's trying to do and i'm wondering if this is a way to kind of i don't i won't i don't wanna say compete but to you know along those lines of trying to be the financial app as well as a social app so i thought that that popped in my head as well that that could be along those lines as well of trying to be the you know payment app along with being a social app which i don't you know i'm i'm i'm i'm curious to see how that's all gonna work because i think that could be really interesting but i do like this integration i think it's bringing us one step closer to you know just being able to do more things on farcaster and that's exciting and i love anytime there's something new to see what other other ideas that people have of like how they're gonna use it i think is gonna be really interesting for sure

yeah and he did his first stream on on lonely he calls it fun lonely so he was on yesterday and so i jumped on for a little bit and he had a slight delay was the only issue he was having i'm like that's not fair
well how did you get the whole situation well lucky him he said yeah

but it was really i love love listening to his process and the way he's he's thinking so what were what were you gonna say
i was just saying his whole kind of artist background is about inviting other people and and doing what he's calling his cocreations right and that art is not so it just it rhymes with seniors it's has such of the the same vibe of kind of everything we're doing of this collaboration and it's really exciting to see and and he's been playing you know experimenting in this area for a long long time so i'm just excited he's starting to kinda formalize and and and just do more and more so i'm excited for that
absolutely and i saw that he was on there's a there was a list of the top creators on zora through the zora mints like the creator rewards and he was in the top i think he was like number 23 or something for some of the art he's created and i don't know if he realized that like his was you know what i mean like that he was at at sort of at the top of that list there but it's exciting because he really does some different things with tech and the art right of bringing together these pieces where other people are contributing to it or it's you know being pulled from the blockchain to create these things and i i think that's so interesting and different really really fun and exciting and chris was one of my first nounish friends actually that we met at in new york over over a year ago like year and a half ago and got to know each other through nouns but it's been really interesting he kinda was another pull for me towards farcaster because he was sort of involved first which is interesting

quite possible i met so many people that week oh my god it was crazy it was crazy i felt like that was one of my favorite like events like that that to me was like oh wow okay i'm in the right place like once i started meeting people in person it changes everything it really changes your whole like oh this is real this is like these people are real they are not just pfps and they are amazing they are as as amazing in person as they are online and that kinda changes your whole like vision of everything and it's it's yeah it was really fun and chris has i love seeing chris chris like continue and and do all these fun things

so fun so i'm i was really happy to in another community that i'm in the timepieces community we talk about jomo the joy of missing out like being able to be happy for other people so i had a lot of jomo for those who were there but i had a lot of fomo i really wish i was there too but it looked amazing that yeah i can't wait for another farcaster meetup i'm really looking forward to art basel in december speaking of events i think there's gonna be a lot of activity around that that 1st week of december in miami and i know that i'm in the process of writing a proposal with a group from lil nouns to put together an event and one part of that we want to also be a farcaster meetup so we're planning something in the morning where we really wanna invite you know the farcaster ecosystem to come and hang out and just you know get together and and talk about building and all that kind of thing so i'm excited for that too so yeah those i think those in person moments are so important to really solidifying like what we do in this space and and people that we work with and spend time with so love that that's so funny we probably met we probably met a year before we met it was meant to be

started doing a weekly it's an it's an email newsletter mhmm and the attempt is to say this is just a sampling of what's happening in farcaster and and the format is it starts with the stats of like most active it goes into
other kind of the this is what's happened over the week but and at the bottom it's this week last year and it pulls in casts from a year ago and you can i don't know if you remember this week in farcaster
you know what so i think the the so the the graphic with like the list came into my notifications because he had tagged me and i hadn't gone up one level and now i see it oh that's cool
so so do you remember this week in forecaster which was a purple funded initiative which was also an attempt and i used to read those and that was more text based it was like someone telling you this is everything that's happening and i love that the outcasters is is visual so it's not really writing

the the pictures and he's been getting different people to curate it every week

cool so and it's just such a beautiful way to kind of scroll and and get the the visual sense really so big plug big plug for outcasters if you've not checked that out definitely subscribe
and i just checked it out and it looks amazing so i can't wait to dig in right after and this is why we're doing gm farcaster this is a great example of like trying there's so much going on that we miss things and this is great like that you you know shared that i would i didn't even realize because i was so focused on the fact that i was on some list and so

yeah so i i you know it's funny yeah just post like i think taking activity and you know we've talked about that before i'm definitely a lean into just do it like just take the action and then if it's not perfect that's okay you can always adjust later but i think with this like i did not realize i was posting that much and so there was a part of me that went i think you're posting too much when i saw that list as opposed to the oh this wants to keep me going there was a little bit of that pullback of like am i spending too much time here but i i'm curious to see i have a feeling that what that's done is that my twitter activity is probably a little lower than it usually is and i think that's where it's probably balancing out sometimes i'm not gonna overthink it don't overthink it that's some of the biggest problems i can't believe this but we are at 8:50 we got one minute there was a couple other great posts over the past couple days one was on tipping and i just thought that was just so sometimes it just things just make me think and like dive in and and there's been a couple posts that i thought were like that 1 was the tipping there was 2 tipping ones 1 was in the food channel another was just random and i thought that was interesting because there's a lot of people have a lot of feelings about the counter flip over the thing expect a tip kind of thing which i thought you know that was some good discussion around that and there's also very different approaches globally so that's interesting too i don't know if you saw that or if you had any thoughts on that

and then the other one was this the trends i don't know if you saw that and and the way it was posed and of course i'm gonna forget who posted it was that the trends of driver's licenses and alcohol all these things up to through high school have gone down and digital life has gone up right so you know not not getting your driver's license right away lot of people

yes work for pay surprised me and that concerned me the other ones didn't concern me as much some of them are positive really you know so i don't think there's any need to rush into any of those things necessarily drivers driving maybe but the work for pay was surprising i was like what people doing for money over there i couldn't wait to have a job like i had a job at 14 i couldn't wait to have a driver's license i wanted my independence and i just find it interesting that that's not as in demand anymore and i'm i think it might be because of our digital lives honestly it might be that we spend so much more time online that we don't see the need to be irl which is you know there are pluses and minuses to that but any thoughts on that before we wrap i know we're rushing quickly
