so i was i was doing a little a little i was hearing a lot about dynasty from the kansas city fans and i just wanted to make sure that everyone understand that you don't get to a dynasty until you at least win 6 so that's all that's all i'm gonna say about that but i did wanna start with that the there was a super bowl channel that popped up and it was very you know the ephemeral ephemeral channel that just was for that day and it was a lot of fun so i was in there chatting and i have to give a shout out to bored elon who's bored on on warpcast because he kinda made a joke about what are you people doing on warpcast during the super bowl and then there were things that happened right and i i don't i didn't grab that one but you know all of a sudden jack dorsey is sitting there with a satoshi shirt on i couldn't talk to the people i was at the super bowl party with they didn't have a clue i was like is that a satoshi shirt and they're like a what they didn't know what i meant and i was like never mind and i was like on my phone like trying to like get a screenshot of it and i was you know so that's why that's why we needed to do that

so many things alright i have to jump into love on leverage love on leverage started last night and we had some really fun forecasters and forecasters that were part of this show so shout out to coop coopatroopa he did amazing so this is my little post last night don't let the dictate the love he was getting a little upset upset with people buying and selling his date i'll explain that in a minute and i have to give a shout out to cyber shakti and heavyweight both were one of the contestants and erica and coop had a little had a little little chemistry there so she's the one who kinda they're gonna gonna meet up at east denver which was cool but cyber shokty we've got to we gotta find you a guy in india for sure because you were fabulous and one of the things she did was create a lens post backdrop with koopa in there and it was so funny it was great so she just did fantastic they both did like shout out to anybody who goes on this for a dating show and is willing to put themselves out there because it was fun but what you could do it was the date would you if you hit the green because the vibes were high then it was a go and there was only 2 that hit the green and it was cyber shokti and heavyweight so the rest who were lovely as well ended up in the red red zone and that means people were selling the vibes didn't think that that it was good that it was gonna make it and that was how this was all going down on on lonely so it's every night this week well i think it's every night i think it's 8 pm tonight and tomorrow and then 3 pm est thursday and friday i think for some other hit some other time zones so fun really fun check it out very entertaining a lot of fun brian's crazy you know

we want him hanging with balaji so i was like okay this is the one but there's a you know eventually but it's kinda interesting you really it's really hard i think at this point to onboard people to farcaster who either don't have some kind of interest in crypto or you know are really that kind of early adopter kind of person so there we go bricks bounty i'll be sending you a little something and there's your answer so if you're trying to onboard your friends that's who you're looking for the person who is likely to be hey you know the first person who had you know an ipad that that's the one that's the one but it was fun it was a lot of fun they think i'm crazy but you know that's nothing new okay moving on we do have a few exciting things from dan 1st month over 100 k mau or monthly active users that's nuts the last 7 days of daily active users to monthly after users was more than 50% i mean it's it's crazy how quickly things are moving and on that note priorities this week also from dan stability uptime and reliability for the entire protocol and then number 2 feed notifications quality also making it clearer easier for good faith accounts to be more visible and we'll talk about that in a second and then of course frames so along the visibility part of this they did up the active badge to 400 and you have some folks who we you know we want over here who may have come over from crypto twitter just haven't been able to build up their accounts yet and they're having a challenge getting visibility so tweaking you know that approach while also trying to use that active badge status to kind of control spam so it's a it's a balance and it's it's a work in progress i guess and there was some discussion about that in regards to the purple party upcoming at e denver and whether or not that should be limited to active badges so i know you had some some thoughts on that discussion happening

the only thing i'll say is dan and varun and have i i think kind of earned a lot of goodwill and trust over the years by saying they need to experiment right so what they're trying to do is they're not trying to create an elite place that you can't break into they're trying to control they're trying to make farcaster a place that people wanna come with quality conversation and they need to control spam and how are they doing it and they are iterating nonstop and they're trying things out so i know they've earned my goodwill and i don't know you know is it perfect no will they experiment and iterate yes so if give people and and i'm glad people are actually complaining on the feed because it's a complaint but it's a conversation and we're having that conversation if this is not fair well how should we balance it
alright how's the what's the better suggestion yeah exactly and i and i think it makes sense on honestly because when you're talking things in irl you do have limitations on space so how do you you know how do you make sure and and maybe you make exceptions and obviously if you hold a purple token you know i would say regardless of active badge i would think that would be priority 1 and then active badge after that so yeah and i think that's that's fair for you know ideally it would be more open but i can understand that for space wise because we'll be doing something similar with ours i'll tell you right now because same thing space wise and it's just and also cost you know there's an expense to all this so it's not about elitist it's about like just you know that's that's just reality unfortunately but i do see you know there's they're definitely and we just said that's one of the priorities of this week of them trying to figure out how do they balance those things and we've got a few other things happening new feature for channel hosts which i thought this was fabulous i noticed it before i saw this announcement warn and hide send an in app notification on webcast not public not push to the user directly to your regarding your chart channel's norms we renamed hide to hide quietly for instances where you don't want to warn and then ban from channel remains unchanged so if you are a channel host and you have folks who maybe are posting off topic but they seem well intentioned you can just let them know hey i think and i've been doing this for a while in builders builderdao's channel where somebody will post something they it really just belongs in dev it doesn't belong they don't realize that builder is builderdao so i'll just say hey you know great post but can you move it over here because it you'll you'll get more traction honestly is the is the bigger reason like they're not no one's gonna see it and then you have the spam ones and those are a little different that you can ban or whatever but you also can warn first and give at least give people a chance to change behavior how are people doing with farcaster yeah
