5:46Speaker 2

yeah

5:48Speaker 0

i put it on full all safe

5:50Speaker 2

okay okay

5:53Speaker 2

okay so i guess yeah i guess we i guess we can get started i i don't know oh you think it's better it's yeah okay okay

6:05Speaker 0

yeah so i was thinking we should start with the with our sponsors so they can talk about their product i mean what they do how this can be used in mini apps what benefit does it bring and then talk about the winners and why they selected them

6:27Speaker 2

definitely definitely

6:34Speaker 2

so is the is the empire builder team here

6:43Speaker 2

no the i don't actually know everyone's names properly so there's the your berserker and the divifly i don't know if they're here

7:02Speaker 2

they're not here right now nick do you wanna send my notes if they they can join i just just because i have the stream up i can't answer my messages

7:16Speaker 0

said he's feeding the dog and then hoping in hopefully the dog indeed hit him

7:26Speaker 0

i i don't know if it's a big dog

7:30Speaker 3

yeah

7:36Speaker 2

okay well let's let justin if you wanna talk about quidly i feel like there's a there's a lot to talk about so we can let's give you the stage and you can talk about quidly and everything it has to offer and then we can hopefully you're berserk and those guys join by then

7:57Speaker 1

wow i didn't expect to be able to show but i guess it makes sense yeah i think most people on farcaster if they're aware of it at all are more aware of the mini app to send tokens to like channels and on casts and things like that i think what we publicized less but are trying to publicize more now is what we want to build is actually more underneath that it's basically an as attestation engine kind of api so like farcaster is great i mean social networks in general i think all of us here can agree are awesome kinda tools but for the most part they kinda remain like sort of walled gardens right most of our like favorite social apps are are walled gardens i guess web three one try to be open about that but then the the downside is they're much less distribution options here because the user base is smaller so yeah i mean what we're building is actually just a way to like connect as many of your social graphs as possible by kind of indexing all of that into like an open registry so we're really happy to get a chance to and i i think that will work the best actually with agents so that's why we're really happy to get a chance with with you guys to kinda see how agentically that could be leveraged i know there are a few hiccups specifically that ana carolina and

9:41Speaker 1

i don't know how to say his handle xo borned we i mean i've been talking to that guy since like three years ago i still don't know how to say his handle but i know those guys specifically used our api and i i know that that they had some hiccups but it was great because i think we got to kinda kinda smooth out a lot of that as well as be how it's handled by other agents i say that because with claude it's it was it's been fairly smooth i was able to do like an implementation like twenty minutes on on our landing page but having said that i'm i'm actually working on the api so obviously that's like a different dimension compared to someone that's never like messed with it before but yeah this is awesome i've i love viniamp i mean you guys have let me use it for a while now and i think of the sparcaster vibe coder platforms it's definitely i think the the superior one and i would say with with the experiences i've seen with the quidly api as well as when i try to implement other external apis i have seen that that can be a bit challenging i think it's strong enough to overcome but i do think one barrier there is then the token maxing kinda screws you because then it starts getting super expensive to try to to rejigger and rejigger and rejigger but no in general viniap is awesome and i hope we can get i i mean i'm taking this as a learning experience because i think we've smoothed out a lot of the errors that the users were seeing and yeah that's kinda quid i don't know if i talked about it correctly but there you go

11:23Speaker 2

yeah that's really great that's really great yeah the the qidly platform and the api it's it's it does a lot and there's a it's a it requires kinda some some domain knowledge in terms of how to use it how to set it up and so events like this are are nice because people are able to kind of go through the process and kind of experience what that's what that's like and it's kind of an iterative process from both sides from or actually from all all sorts of sides kind of from the vinny side from the quidly side and then from the builder side as well so i think that's that's a huge win and kind of i guess the the holy grail is just to be able to kinda keep to do that like you you keep going and you keep iterating you get better and better so it was really nice to kind of even even see the onboarding for for quidly kind of the different features that it had and see how people kinda work it into the the platform

12:17Speaker 2

we're just gonna jump over to jordan who's just feeding his dog i i guess i guess his dog didn't eat him which is great

12:26Speaker 3

jordan you're a brazilian dog

12:28Speaker 2

oh small dog small dog so just nipples just just

12:31Speaker 3

nipples yeah yeah exactly i know yeah it's okay i just you know just a little bit of finger

12:35Speaker 2

that's right just a finger gone just a finger too yeah yeah

12:37Speaker 3

i don't use that one

12:39Speaker 2

yeah who knows right but if you wanna talk about the empire builder and you got your your your swiss sandwich it looks like

12:49Speaker 3

yeah i got some some sheep butter in there we've got some comped cheese french that's for justin and some parma ham parm ham prosciutto on top for like a roam throwback

13:00Speaker 1

it's it's

13:02Speaker 3

that's right

13:04Speaker 0

there we

13:04Speaker 3

go sorry there was a question what was the question

13:07Speaker 2

no well we're just we're just going through the the sponsors of of the vinithon so justin was just talking about quidly and talking about what quidly was and kind of his experience in the the vinithon and a little bit about vini and then if you wanna talk about the empire builder and sure the platform just go like if people are not familiar with empire builder so they they kinda get to know you yeah in the platform itself

13:31Speaker 3

perfect yeah thanks for having me thanks for everyone who is trying out the tools and and yeah being a part of empire builder our new version version three that we launched in rome and it was a lot of fun hanging out with justin and nikolai there and tempe teke and other people florian is here and those who couldn't make it you should come to the next farcaster of farcon because they're just wonderful times empire builder is a no code token tool stack to help we say you help you go from dream to empire basically you can think of it as a token deployer we partner with clanker but more so than that suite of community management tools that help you identify your target users and who are who are holding some of your token or some of your on chain assets and and then a way to incentivize and activate those different people so let's just it's like i prepared look at that oh wow what what is this this is empire builder this is my personal empire because we just launched tokenless empires so i can you can go to my profile click on the snap that's that's tagged there and you will launch a tokenless empire for your personal fit you can launch for other projects etcetera but you don't need to launch a token for this you can just use the tool stack and so we did a collab with dota so we have dota nft holders so i have a bunch of nfts gm yerb is my old token and what i can do from here in the interface and you can get the agents to do i can come in here right now i can click on airdrop and i can click on nfts and it's gonna load up a bunch but i actually know that i wanna load up this this is the yerba mate nfts that we did with the dota collab so it's an in game item that's a great you know feature but you could use this to like launch so going back to like things you can do get get a list of your first users make a make a a leaderboard with an s csv of the people who were there in day one or week one make a stack of nfts drop them to them as rewards you know so i'm gonna go to raffle mode and i'm gonna raffle so i've got 20 of them left so i'm gonna raffle 20 of them in the top 75 because i looked earlier and i'll show you right after this but i can go here boom airdrop and now it's loading the little signature so okay move it over there it's gonna charge 17¢ because we have a like a small fee on there for friction so people use it with intention because it's gonna cost them 17 whole cents okay so there we go it's airdrop to them and oh man okay so trish like we got all these it picked these 20 people out of the top 75 if your name is in there congratulations the dude oh man you just like dm'd me too just send me some anyways tiny rainbow she was in there so you can click share etcetera there's a lot of functionality but basically what i did was i call this tactical generosity which is basically use the analytics use the tools so you can be generous to the people you want to be generous to the people you wanna support and and this surfaces that so i can look at the token holders here now and i can see okay well i'm in first and second because i have a few of those but i reshare the things that i win but i can look through here and say okay the the wallets connected to fids i know that these people have social aptitude they're not just wallets that are holding it these are like people who have farcaster accounts so that's got a bit more social mojo i can look at the booster score which i'll just mention briefly after what actually that booster score is but we're taking token held multiplied by booster gives you the rank and i can scroll down here and be like okay i recognize these names i i interact with these people on farcaster a lot of people have these tokens because i've been rewarding and giving tokens as like i interact like through noise when that was there or tipping or other things that we're using that we share tokens with that i reward the people who are delighting me and and and giving value to me and and my project so they're all in here now nishprof bizarre beasts and then i get down here to like i i went to 75 for a reason so i get down to 75 and then after this you know i know these people but i but i know less of the people and when i look at the booster numbers they're not as high the multipliers so this means they're not holding as many other assets that i've been launching creating that my community has been that i've been like making as like art pieces or other nfts so that's how boosters help you surface who your longer time supporters are you know are they holding nft that you dropped and launched through like photo caster or through a towns emergibles also other ways to have revenue streams you know add other utility you can use the different nft platforms or sell nfts or do things like that and that'll bring in revenue but you can also put instant utility to that and you can use this to tie all of that together so i've got like warplets in there and waifu which was from eggman and alphonso and imogen bizarre beasts zavall if you're holding like minimum tokens you can do collabs with other people and then at the bottom we just have some scores for reputation so name our score that if you have of a certain height that's gonna give you another boost or ethos whichever is higher so we use this to kind of help filter out or or give well i guess we're not filter we're giving more benefit and more rank to people who have proven themselves to be more real accounts that show up maybe they're not just real human i mean i guess if a bot account shows up and consistently has a good score it could be up there as well so there we go that's the that's so i just i just raffled off 75 of these dota nfts to people on my board and now what i'm gonna do and i don't have to do this right now because we're talking and i'm just monologuing but what i'm gonna do after this is i'm gonna refresh this and i'm actually gonna drop $60 worth of our glanker token to the top 100 in this leaderboard so i'm refreshing it right now it's going and it's taking all the new people who just got those n f t's that i air dropped and it's gonna rerank all of this and it's gonna attach the booster score and now i mean i can come in here and i'll be able to just drop to the people the funds from my treasury so you also can you also can put tokens in your treasury which you white list you can you could make it so that when you're selling things like with splits contracts or other that it will deposit into your treasury so you can make that as an easy distribution mechanism and yeah so i have well it initially was $60 now it's $56.30 of glanker which i'm gonna say is because of eth decreasing in price but yeah i'll do the airdrop later but if you have any questions let me know you can write on my right on my my wall etcetera etcetera and it is now i'm gonna close stop stop that yeah it's 05:21pm here so i'll be around and if you write me when i'm asleep i can't respond to you

20:38Speaker 2

really cool really cool the when through the through the viniathon platform it seems like a a few few platforms were using the empire builder platform what did you see and kind of what what are things that kinda caught your eye or what were you kinda thinking on the way in and what are your impressions so far

20:59Speaker 3

so i was i was really i was i was happy to see people using it trying it out playing around with it i think that i think that a lot of people don't i think they're at a disadvantage when they don't really when they don't know how to use it much when they haven't if they haven't played around with it before and they're just kind of stumbling on for the first time and trying to find ways to kind of strap it on and use use it you know for for for sure florian who is a longtime empire builder who's used the tools before you know his his build really stood out because it not only used the tool stack but he wove in the sort of the ethos of empire builder to to support other builders and to support other projects and this idea that we win together that we are generative not extractive that we're symbiotic not parasitic that we build a resilient ecosystem of ecosystems and that by supporting each other's prod projects and each other we were stronger and we go farther faster he kind of embodied that i saw some people i saw people launching empires and attaching them i saw a few people putting out rewards to to their holders what i what i didn't see was people kind of actually articulating how they would be using it how they would be giving rewards to people if they were holding things like kind of explaining how they were using it this is where florian's kind of use stood out and he did something that i thought was really again really wise where his initial tokens what he did with those is he actually went to our empire builder empire because you can go to any empire that's already existing and you can go to a leaderboard and you can air drop to it so he actually took a stack of his initial tokens and he went and dropped it to like the top 100 of our glanker token holders and announced that hey if you're a top 100 in this empire you're getting these tokens that you can try the thing out with and so he was using he used the existing mechanisms to help get more attention and get more signal through that which i thought was a a really good use of the tools and and again he's familiar with the platform so it was advantageous for him

23:28Speaker 2

really cool really cool i'd i'd love to kinda jump into the kind of the builders soon nick did you have any kinda things to add or kind of any oversights on the the vini thon and then we'll kinda jump into the builders

23:42Speaker 0

so yeah it was i think it was really great we have 90 plus apps submitted and it was a big learning curve for us too yeah yeah a couple of fixes we had to apply like during the run and but i think it mostly worked out for for most of the people and we really loved to see people who did a lot of iterations on their apps it was great like how it was evolving into something bigger and i think everybody who did at least like two three app are

24:27Speaker 0

are sorry i'm just reading the the the chat so people who made at least like three four iterations on their app are all great like great result and yeah we hope you guys will continue to use it and you'll on improving it

24:47Speaker 2

yeah totally totally yeah i definitely i definitely echo all those things on nick one really nice thing about the vini is that the you can kind of land and expand so you start with a build and then you kinda iterate you go into that build tab and keep chatting about it one one of the as as kinda jordan was talking about florian had a had a build so florian if are you able to chat and kind of jump on to talk about your build and your kind of thought process i know you're kinda mentioning in the chat you might be tied up but i want to see if you're one minute okay one minute one minute okay so yeah just while we give him one minute so one thing about the the apps that were being built that was very interesting was that we had all sorts of applications we had a lot of utility apps we had apps that so it's kinda standalone utility apps and then we had apps that were games a lot of games that were really interesting a lot of high quality games too things that people played multiple times from places all over the world so it's super interesting to kinda have people play different games and then what was really cool is that being able to hook into external services like quidly and empire builder and different api providers where you kinda take this this base shell of saying okay we're gonna build on top of vive vibecoding platform and then you kind of layer on these apis to get more robust apps and kinda combine things that had never existed before so that that was definitely really cool

26:17Speaker 2

just

26:21Speaker 2

oh let's see if florian's here

26:26Speaker 2

oh he's here florian how's it going

26:32Speaker 1

i think

26:33Speaker 2

i think he's here

26:35Speaker 3

he was having some headphone issues earlier today

26:38Speaker 2

yeah

26:38Speaker 3

i was in a call with him

26:43Speaker 3

oh he dropped it up maybe he's gonna connect key is gonna connect back to his phone

26:47Speaker 2

or something oh there he is florian one more time you there

26:56Speaker 2

k how about while florian gets set up another another builder on the the quiddly side was was anna anna do you wanna talk about your build and kind of your your experience

27:12Speaker 4

yes there you go

27:18Speaker 4

so i made pics i wanted something it was more i was just like curious if i was be able to do something like that with like i started on thursday so i had two days to to make it work even if it like work afterwards but it was just fun to to test it yeah pix you just make a pix art

27:47Speaker 4

and publish on to the gallery and then you get votes and you get prizes if you get votes right now i just played it this morning the mechanic is in now everyone that gets a vote splits price a fixed price depending on how many votes you you get and i'm using quigly to distribute those tokens to to whoever gets the votes and yeah i just wanna do something with art

28:21Speaker 4

and token and like mix the tokens and yeah it it worked it was like a very humble work but it worked so so so thank you guys also thank you guys for the help throughout the the press

28:37Speaker 2

yeah you you you really made a few few iterations which was really nice to see i think the the ethos of being a builder is really not kind of just having the idea it's kind of about sitting at that that kind of wall of kind of a wall of despair effectively where you're kinda sitting there like shoot i know i wanna get on the other side of the wall and i know that it's possible or people are telling me that it's possible and it's like you kinda just had to poke around that wall and kind of try different ways to get over that wall to kinda get your application built and so that comes through a lot of research a lot of thinking a lot of iterations sometimes a couple headaches or actually more often not some headaches but i guess the the final prize is usually the fact that you're able to kind of get over that wall and and actually get something out into the public have people use your services and i think you did a great job kind of having that builder ethos in the in the competition and yeah it's really cool how you you help people kind of generate art there's a voting system and then they use quidly for the the token distribution so it's a a really kind of full encompassing platform compared to yeah compared to your your you you've created a number of applications of the art side before how did this one kinda compare to the other ones

29:47Speaker 4

oh it's it's the first time i'm doing my all my projects are always personal and i'm always like building something so i can building a structure so i can give my art like but i'm not building for other people to to use it it's always personal so this was i think the first time that i'm actually doing something that i have to think about oh people have to use it and it has to to work so that was was a fun exercise

30:17Speaker 2

really cool really cool yeah normally you're i guess you're displaying your art and then this one is where people can generate their own art so you're helping other people become artists exactly really cool really cool is florian here now florian you did you make it work

30:33Speaker 5

let's try it again hell yeah you know

30:36Speaker 2

hell yeah yeah we're live

30:37Speaker 5

third third time is the charm apparently yeah sorry about this i've been struggling with a broken cable on my headphones since the whole day basically

30:46Speaker 2

yeah

30:48Speaker 3

you're coming through kind of german

30:51Speaker 6

i i

30:51Speaker 5

have no idea why this would be but yeah i don't know do you just want me to kind of talk through empire drive for a bit i kind of forgot the question yeah because of all the headphone issues

31:02Speaker 2

yeah totally yeah if you could just talk about your kind of your experience using the empire builder platform the vini platform what you built why you built it anything around that is great

31:13Speaker 5

alright yeah awesome i don't know it was just a few piece pieces coming together like since spark on rome like i i always had trying vini app on like on my bucket list basically and then just figured it's a nice opportunity to to do that and then of course with empire builder jordan mentioned in the empire chat that that they are part of this too so i i figured like why not pick up the pieces and and build something around those two things and then i don't know like i i was just like sitting down and kind of figuring like how to piece those things together and then one part that i i haven't used as much on the empire stack is the whole like api light layer you get from them like where you can graph like information around the different empires and i figured well let's let's use this and build something around kind of like the majority or the the vast array of empires that exist and then like the the evolution of this idea was like a fantasy football game right to like you you pick some some emperors empires and become like their champion you you kind of wager on them performing well and this kind of evolved into the little gameplay loop that empire draft has become so the idea is over like it it runs in weekly periods at the beginning of the week you can pick up a rooster of up to five empires you pay the vimi app token like a small amount to kind of lock in your drop and then this token is used to buy the tokens of the empires so you kind of build up a treasure well the app builds up a treasury of different empire tokens

33:06Speaker 5

then at some point the draft ends the week processes and at the end of the week we take another snapshot and it looks at the performance of the empires and then it like you get points based on how well your your pick performed relative to other players and those points are then again given to an empire draft empire we're we're reaching full inception here now which informs nick jordan in the beginning showed the scoreboard so we have like one scoreboard on the empire draft empire that's based on on your performance in the game and the idea is once the treasury has accumulated a certain value of tokens you will get those airdrop based on your placement on the leaderboard right so you you you buy some draft which is the winning app token for this mini app you spend it on on wagering on different empires and then at some point you receive your rewards if you perform well in the form of other empire tokens so it's like a mini empire builder index fund of of sorts

34:17Speaker 2

wow really really cool it's it's it's really tying together a lot of the different technologies and if you just imagine like historically being able to do this it just wasn't possible like we just really we couldn't do it as seem seamless and kind of permissionlessly as as it is available now so that's that's just that's just insane how many like in terms of your your draft season is it kind of an ongoing thing or are there seasons or how long does the draft typically last how does that kinda look for you

34:50Speaker 5

so the thinking was it it's a weekly round so on on monday you make your bats then until sunday it it tell you the scores a lot of this is is run manually right now just because i i haven't gotten to the point where vignette does it like or coded it in a way that it runs autonomously so that would be an upgrade for sure to to make sure it kind of like continues on its own but the initial thinking was to have like weekly games so to say and then the season would be a certain number of weeks right it's i think the draft costs less than a cent right now wow so it will take some time to like accumulate meaningful value in the treasury

35:34Speaker 5

of course you could make it more expensive but this was the intention here was mostly to like experiment with the things and get people to try it out and then less to turn this into like a sustainable business kind of thing so gonna gonna figure out where there's a a sweet spot for those things

35:53Speaker 2

yeah totally totally if you had kind of one wish through the process what what would that wish be

36:01Speaker 5

i i spoke with with nikolai on a few things i feel like like viniap did a amazing job on giving me like this first prompt to initial mini app like i i was really amazed at how well it navigated all those forecast specific things you need to do for the mini app for me as someone who has like built mini apps from scratch before i i think i reached at some point i reached like a few problems where i knew how i would fix them if i would like write the app myself but it was really hard for me to to get vini app to like do what i wanted it to do the workaround was that i got like read access to the source code so i could give more specific prompts but i think what i personally would would what would would make my life easier is kind of having an in between between like the llm doing some coding and me being able to do like surgical fixes in there on my own but yeah otherwise i i think it was like surprisingly smooth besides those little hiccups and i could like i could see this being like amazing to just prototype out an idea and get like a first running product within minutes instead of like days basically

37:22Speaker 2

yeah totally that that idea of kind of land and expand is really nice one where there's a lot of kinda templating but it's old old school like kind of ten fifteen years ago when you were coding in like dreamweaver or kind of notepad plus plus or like what or just whatever it was to even like we we eventually got into the wave of like scaffolding in like ruby on rails where it's like okay we're gonna build up these applications but even like even scaffolding was still kind of relatively bare bones you still had a layer on a bunch of things so with vini we're able to kind of go further for the scaffolding but i totally agree with you that kind of having that ability to kind of have some surgical precision especially later on in the application so you can think of like like it's it's crazy how fast we develop now so it can be in like you know like we can move we can move mountains in a in a in a number of days but if there's some specific kind of wallet feature or some specific contract or some specific smart contract being able to go in and say like just change this one line is certainly something that is is is on our radar and we kind of we appreciate that we we totally recognize that as well as as you said all the repos on binny have access to this kind of github read access but also just having that ability to kind of go into the code and edit directly makes a lot of sense too so we we definitely appreciate that jordan let's hear you

38:44Speaker 3

i'm like i put my hand up instead of just interrupting

38:46Speaker 2

i love that i love it

38:47Speaker 3

normally i get super excited but

38:49Speaker 2

that's higher that's higher

38:50Speaker 3

yes it's it's yeah my my my canadian politeness battles with my adhd sometimes so actually one of the things like i love what you're talking about there and and when florian was talking about it what i what i hear and see with a bunch of i think the apps is is okay so ease of building you can build this you can get it out and now you want people to be using it and how do you get those users how are you finding those users and i i look forward to talking with you guys guys later as well because i think that i'd love to to work together on some like workflows or other things that we could teach vania app for how it could set up and use empire builder but how it also could potentially give some information to the designers to be like you know here's some recommendations or here's some ways you can utilize this so then you can say like okay well i wanna get my people okay well put you know you can put in like you know $5 of of you you know you can buy some of your token or use some of your token and put it in here and use it in these ways and you can use this to incentivize get your users get them in there get that feedback get that support happening and i think that i think that there's some other like easy unlocks in there that i'm excited to see what that can look like

40:02Speaker 2

yeah that's that's a great point this this idea of kind of like okay you have the shell you have the working application prototype and then you take something like a empire builder where you have a domain specific skill and kind of say and and it's not so rigid i guess we're in this this modern era where we can kind of be a la carte where it's like you you kind of pick the things you want pick the things you don't want and so you can have empire builder having a list of like 50 different things being like hey you can do all of these things and then vini app can help kind of help select and be like okay add this in add this in add this in and also prioritize not only in just selection but it could be prioritization based on the the narrative of the application so it can look at what's and it's

40:43Speaker 3

and it's like whatever the action is right whatever the whatever the kpi like whatever the main function is you want people to be doing on that app like this is what the app's built for this is what it does and we want unique users and we want people that are like iterating or using it or moving up the leaderboard like just so it knows like okay so we're going to prioritize this we're gonna make this a leaderboard and then i can you know i can i can put on content where it's gonna be like hey every you know i'm gonna do a random raffle of like $20 to you know a few people on the leaderboard who are participating as a thank you you know get in there and try it out i'm gonna you know do you know $10 across the you know the top like you know those kinds of like random rewards that can be people like oh yeah sure like hey i wanna check it out and hey if i win something that's cool but it but it'll get me to check it out right because you know just that even that checking out that's gonna give me my dopamine

41:35Speaker 2

yeah you're you're i totally agree totally agree right getting people in the door is kind of the the first step and and having these ways to kinda get them to check it out is is really great arjun let's get you in here you got a higher hat as well

41:49Speaker 7

yeah i just i had to have it i saw jordan wearing it in rome so i hope

41:55Speaker 2

you tracked it down

41:56Speaker 3

you hunted it down

41:58Speaker 0

sorry

41:58Speaker 3

you hunted it down you you're like asking me like where did you get it yeah yeah yeah who's got it in supply

42:04Speaker 7

yeah exactly and i got one yeah but anyway i had a question for jordan so let's assume i have a mini app let's assume i'm i'm going to spend some of the the the the tokens on an empire that i think is could be filled with users that could appreciate my mini app so what if i drop the tokens do they get notified or how does that work

42:28Speaker 3

if or

42:29Speaker 0

is it

42:29Speaker 3

just that if they have if they have the empire builder so notifications if you have the empire builder mini app added and you have notifications turned on you get a notification when you get when you get a token value over 25¢ so that stops you from just like spamming at a lower thing so that's what empire builder does on our side otherwise what you would want to do is is basically create a cast or something that's coming out that's saying like congratulations to these people because you know you just won or you just got this so that would be like the signal you could put out or if you if you had like depending on the mini app if it had its own account you could use that as putting on a message as well so those are those are different ways that you could distribute that notification unless you could do the notifications within within the app if any app can help build on the notification side and you know you'd wanna tell users to make sure that they have the notifications turned on

43:23Speaker 2

yeah totally on on the the empire builder side you guys have notifications and vini as well we have notifications too you can do individual notifications or you can do event driven notifications so whenever kinda take your pick wherever you wanna land on that but as long as the user so i the message that's that's good

43:40Speaker 3

yeah and so i would say like everybody if you don't have empire builder this is if you don't have empire builder added with notifications turned on you might be getting you know rewards from different token empires you're holding or nfts that are you're winning and you don't even know

43:56Speaker 2

100% 100% or john is that is that good oh other questions

44:02Speaker 7

yeah yeah that's great no that's actually what i wanted to know

44:05Speaker 2

amazing amazing tempe tucki are you there is your mic working he was is he there yeah tempe

44:17Speaker 3

i can see oh there you go

44:19Speaker 6

i'm here i i was just there

44:21Speaker 3

we go

44:22Speaker 6

the dishes i was just dishwashing

44:25Speaker 2

awesome nice yeah

44:26Speaker 6

tempe gotta be productive in between true

44:29Speaker 2

true tempe you created a number of games often related to the the nouns ecosystem what's what's your relationship with the nouns ecosystem and what inspired you to create these games

44:42Speaker 6

yeah yeah i'm a i'm a member of the so yeah i vote there i vote there in the in the and yeah actually with the the story is pretty similar as with claudian so i learned about vini in rome the at farcaster at farcom and then i didn't build an ad back then but then we had we had a call with justin you know justin has every week oh i think this calls and and see in fifteen minutes

45:16Speaker 2

fifteen minutes yeah

45:17Speaker 6

maybe chris too yeah

45:18Speaker 5

okay we

45:19Speaker 6

got fifteen minutes so yeah yeah alright long story short i i started creating creating mini apps via vini i was very very surprised with how well it works and yeah i didn't have any idea for any utility apps so i decided to just build games for for the non dao community maybe about the improvements yeah the same as florian said having access to to github because i'm also a developer and sometimes it could be better if i could just you know like change a line or whatever myself right so maybe if the code is on github maybe if the mini app author could kind of connect or just write their own github username in the vini app you know and then vini would add add this username to as collaborator right to github then that would allow it to you know to change a code

46:18Speaker 0

mhmm

46:18Speaker 6

by the way i couldn't i couldn't find the repository so is there a link within vini like the repository

46:27Speaker 6

on github

46:28Speaker 0

all the reports are private so

46:31Speaker 1

that okay

46:34Speaker 0

but we can open you read access at the moment because we did not yet implement it like the the right access so we like i think like even with we will have to hand hand over the app to you like totally like with the versa database with everything then you get right but we definitely can open it up for reading so at least you you see the code and you can give exact instructions to to vini that's required anytime

47:03Speaker 6

or maybe like a pull request permissions or something like that and then ask we need to merge the pull request or something like that

47:13Speaker 0

they will figure it out i mean that's that's on our list for sure

47:19Speaker 1

yeah

47:20Speaker 0

justin justin has to go soon so i think we can move into like announcing the winners for did did we already announce the winners for the sponsors

47:30Speaker 2

no no no winners so i guess drum roll

47:39Speaker 0

oh justin

47:39Speaker 2

that's good yeah justin you you you can go

47:43Speaker 1

i just wanna say real quickly when i first used vinnie i think the problem with being like a dev is like that was the first question i said to nikola can i get into the repo like this is taking absolutely forever to fix like i just wanted to fix it myself but yeah for ours it was kind of interesting because of the initial hiccups in so i think i was trying to describe earlier with quidly it's really built not for farcaster and so it was if you sent people to if you were sending tokens to farcaster it generated like a new wallet which we i mean we weren't expecting the behavior we should've and i so i found it really interesting how these two users kind of found ways to hack around it and i think that's i think chris was saying in the beginning that's really the spirit of being a builder is like you hackers are gonna hack right hackers gotta hack like you just gotta find ways around what you have and it's really interesting the way these two builders kinda did it i think anna just kept like fucking hacking at it and throwing stuff at it until she got it to work with an api key which is awesome having said that we've both of you guys we've resolved the issue now knowing the behavior you want so it'll now find the primary address instead of like creating a new address and so and for exbornid or whatever his solution was also really clever was he just created his own admin board on his own view of the app and he can just manually like do distributions directly from there but yeah i mean i just i love that kind of creativity around it this is not what we expected people to do with it but at the same time yeah they made it work so i guess this is a bit unorthodox and hopefully the con contestants won't hit me too much but i was hoping like these two use cases were fun and i was our inkling was to kind of split the rewards between the two they they were quite tight in terms of our requirement it was really just how many how many user how many accounts you could onboard onto our registry and then how many tokens you could get distributed through your app environment and they're pretty neck and neck actually so i mean given that they were kind of widely different implementations and how

50:23Speaker 1

and they still got it to to work despite those hiccups yeah that was that was kind of how we were viewing it so congratulations anna carolina and i i keep you know i've been i've been talking to this guy for like three years online and

50:38Speaker 2

so i

50:39Speaker 1

feel really bad butchering his handle like export he's used like all implementations like he was using things we were building on frames so this guy is like awesome and he's in indonesia i don't think he actually speaks english we always just chat through translated texts and stuff so if you're are are you here are you cat poo by any chance i i i have no idea if

51:05Speaker 1

but if you're not in any case yeah thanks guys for for hacking with us and i hope you continue to use our shit going forward

51:16Speaker 2

yeah really congratulations guys for all the winners we'll we'll we'll put out a post too so everyone kinda gets tagged and no no dollars are kinda missed but really really interesting jordan do you wanna announce your winner

51:28Speaker 1

yeah sorry i got i do have to hop i i thought we had that forty five minute hard stuff but yeah if you need stuff from me let me know cheers

51:36Speaker 2

alright man cheers cheers thanks

51:41Speaker 3

just being profane swearing dropping out

51:43Speaker 2

that's right that's right

51:45Speaker 3

americans

51:47Speaker 2

i'm joking

51:49Speaker 3

yes okay so the winner of the empire side of this is going to be florian i mean his it just used the stack so so well and so much and i mean it was with the ethos but also just like clearly his deeper knowledge of it and using the api and everything it was it was head and shoulders above the rest i'm really thankful for those who also tried but i mean a lot of the other entries they just you know kind of were they they tried to use the tool a couple times they made a couple you know they made like a distribution here or there like just once or twice but it wasn't like even really integrated into the design so yeah so that's the decision

52:28Speaker 2

congratulations florian and then we will jump over into the oh is it working

52:36Speaker 0

chris can you check the telegram please

52:39Speaker 2

yeah let's see i gotta get my phone out actually one sec checking telegram

52:58Speaker 2

great great yeah yeah nick nick you you go you announce you announce

53:03Speaker 0

okay so basically what we we we wanted to do it a bit different way not like a traditional vini app we thought every builder here like who who did participate they spent days going back and forth with their app but not with us like we were only like there when they needed real help some work and the person well the the agent who spent the most time with them was the agent we actually we asked the agent to look into the into all the interactions like how people were interacting with the agent to build achieve the result and we trusted the agent with this decision and the the agent couldn't pick just one because like there there were so many like beautiful apps so we decided to to split the price pool into three so we have 100 150 and $250 and that's how the agent ranked them so let's count it down and the third place taking home $100 is the faces app by jellyfish

54:11Speaker 0

live archive of people speech ppfp's history preserving the culture of digital identity on farcaster the agent watched the builder relentlessly debug the data flow until the timelines actually rendered then reskin the whole thing into something genuinely beautiful with share embeds and the token to fund it great real distance face okay and the second place $150 go to digim digger this is the one that made the agent work yes he said an idle digim mining game on base with a custom reward pool contracts signature verified claims treasuries durabilities pins leaderboards real hard on chain engineering pushed and debugged over six days and still live today the deepest built in the room digendigger and the first prize taking home $250 the winner is pix and the pixel art app with a real creator economy you spend pix to paint you publish and then people vote on your work you earn it back over five days and 70 rounds of refinement still shipping today this builder didn't just make art they built a working vote to earn loop got real on chain payouts running and made it fair for everyone who creates most time spent most pushed most built congratulations

55:48Speaker 2

amazing amazing

55:49Speaker 4

thank you i wasn't expecting that one

55:53Speaker 2

really great really great in addition in addition to the the winners of everyone for a number of different builders we will be giving out vini grants to keep building so $50 to each of these people as well so i'll just read them so tempecki we'll we'll be sending you credits naunish professor will be sending you credits riaja will be sending you credits encryptdojo credits and eduard msmr will also get credits to kinda keep building so basically we we couldn't be i guess we're running out of time but yeah we really couldn't be more thrilled at this hackathon a lot of hackathons are kind of many of us have been to them but old school hackathons where people be really in the weeds you're kind of in these stinky rooms with kind of old pizza boxes and now we can kind of do hackathons from our hammocks or walking working in platforms like empire builder or quidly and it it doesn't have to smell right yeah we all want some pizza now it's time right it's lunchtime this is a real pizza it's a real pizza he's got the real pepperoni the real cheese and the real bread maybe put in the oven for a bit but yeah it's it's really nice to be able to kinda do this and starting to work in more people is really the goal where 99.5% of people don't code and we certainly appreciate the that the the the developers have this edge because they they know the language they know the tools they know the they know the things like github repositories and stuff like this to to build but for all these people that have never coded before this is the the best time ever to kinda get into the game to kinda get your first pass get a proof of concept out and then start to learn like every developer has had to do so really an amazing time and we look forward to kinda doing more of these too so if anyone has ideas for other ones ways we can integrate as jordan was talking about with the skills we've been talking about this a lot as well kind of fine tuning the prompts and kind of landing and expanding will be really nice and so we look forward to the next iterations of the vinython working with great partners like jordan from empire builder justin from quidley and everyone else that comes in the future as well so i think we're just out of time so maybe we kinda cut it cleanly we'll put out an announcement post with with all of the the numbers and the names congratulations to everyone and nick you wanna have the the last word

58:26Speaker 0

congratulations to the winners and building

58:29Speaker 2

amazing
