Blurred Lines

Blurred Lines

Blurred Lines by Renee Campbell is the 5th drop in the Here for the Art collection curated by GM Farcaster. Here for the Art is a collection celebrating the artists of the Farcaster ecosystem. Each month, an exclusive piece is airdropped to GM Farcaster wowow hypersub holders. In addition to the art drop, GM Farcaster records a podcast with the artist and that is also airdropped to all holders of this piece. Renee Campbell can be found on Farcaster at: @reneecampbell at https://warpcast.com/reneecampbell and her channels /reneecampbell and /flora Blurred Lines by Renee Campbell - artist statement When I was asked for an image that I felt most suited Farcaster, at first my mind drew a blank. I thought, what piece of my work could possibly represent Farcaster? Then this image popped into mind. To me it felt like the perfect representation of FC, calm and frantic at the same time. Like a duck looking relaxed while feverishly paddling under water. I shot this photo of homegrown poppies using a technique called ICM - intentional camera movement. I’ve been experimenting with this style a lot this year and love that it makes me feel such a mix of feelings with its dynamic movement captured in the still. I couldn’t think of a better way to describe my experience on Farcaster. Everything constantly moving and growing like flowers caught in the wind but rooted firmly in the ground.
