https://youtu.be/HY42eUzlY50gm farcaster's cast out finale is here we started on chain summer with 16 players and now we're down to two adrianne and toady hawk these two have survived the yoink and memes tribe challenges they made it through the speed tracer having they dodged a hot potato and posed some questions for others to ponder they survived the arduous travel of the borgon trail and this week they hit three second shots in pinata's superdunk and now it's up to the jury the last five players voted out each have one vote plus all the other players make up a sixth vote and they will determine who is the cast out season zero sole survivor if you're playing along with bracket game get ready as we're about to reveal which player outwit outplay and outcast this on chain summer to win gm farcaster's cast out
gm farcaster we are ready to wrap up season zero of cast out the beta and i'm here with tldr and jace and thank you both so much for showing up here and being a part of this and especially jace who you know wasn't looped in at the beginning and kinda just just got roped in at the end and i appreciate you very much and we're here we're ready for the final two so i have a question did you guys get to watch their pleas to the jury

this video for the ladies and gentlemen of will be voting their final votes today or tomorrow or test out so just a few things i'll try to get the shorts i know you're all very busy and have important things to be doing just wanna thank you
i want to address the backstabbing allegations directly and i i just wanna say i guess about that is one cast out is a single winner game i understand there's people who may feel upset with me and i'm sorry but i think tony did maybe play the social engineering game better than me i don't really know what to do about that except say sorry and just to let you know that if tony had the opportunity to stab you in the back he would have as well and i can i think i have the group i'm with the the private dcs with proof for that but it is what it is so maybe that'll be my undoing if it is i i guess i deserve it like i said from the beginning and then other than that you know how i played i i believe it or not did try to play as honestly as i could single winner game i asked for the help i could get so i had lots of people in my dms survivor fans shout out linx and chase and other hodlers giving me advice about the different alliances and layers but mostly i just try to have fun with the challenges i was setting my alarm in the middle of the night to play things like yoink having fun with memes reaching out to pungsten and what else oh confessional videos leaned into those so yeah my final plea i think you know who i am i'd like to win because i think cody's a little shady and he and i had a
i got stuck on telling you why i wanna win because i don't really know why it's a fun game with friends oddly i'm weirdly competitive so don't vote for me because i wanna win just vote because

to record a plea to the folk of the jury i've been asked to record a plea to convince you why you should vote for me to win season zero of cast out a k a the one in which professor lied to us and told us it would only be a very small time commitment each week here are my top three reasons why i think i deserve to win cast out number one i had a very strong social game throughout number two i won a lot of challenges more challenges than anybody else in the game in fact all but all but two challenges i won immunity on and three if i win i'm going to be giving away the prize to a good cause so more on these three if you have the patience to listen to me for just a couple more minutes firstly i do think i played a very good social game throughout and played with as much integrity as possible in a game of overlapping alliances so going back a little bit i've never really watched survivor much i think i saw maybe one season when it first came out but i did actually really love big brother and i think i obsessively watched about eight seasons of big brother at one point so that's where i drew a lot of my inspiration for my strategy and whatnot coming into this game one thing that happens in big brother a lot is what you might call an onion or a nested alliance strategy where some of the best players would make multiple alliances you know a final two alliance maybe a smaller alliance and then a bigger alliance and that's sort of what i tried to do coming into this game so on day zero if you missed my cast yesterday this might be news to you but on day zero i approached adrianne and i said we should be a final two what do you think she agreed and so we were a final two alliance from day zero all the way through to present early on as well before the gameplay started i was in a chat with cameron and yb and we made a second alliance a three person alliance called the on chain content creators club and so that was sort of the second alliance in play and then of course we just had the the mole tribe which got along pretty well together and turned out to be pretty good at working working together so those were the three alliances that i i sort of tried to work with throughout the game and and this sort of nested alliance strategy of you know three different alliances with you know increasing numbers of people and decreasing amounts of loyalty as you as you go out so i think overall the gameplay speaks for itself you know mole ended up the last standing and two out of the three of our alliance with cameron and yb ended up in the final four and then of course adrian and i were able to make it all the way to the final two and here we sit so i think that speaks for itself in terms of the social game play that went on throughout this game secondly i think i played a very good competition game i really gave my all to every single challenge to try to earn immunity as many times as possible i won more challenges than any other players in the game tried to leverage my network and my friends at the l collective as much as i could and also just spent a lot of time tapping frames so hopefully hopefully that's worth something also i think i needed to win immunity a lot of the time i have a sneaking suspicion that if i hadn't won immunity three times in a row at the end of the game i might have gone out earlier so i think that was an important part of the game play as well finally the last challenge that i just won the basketball challenge i think was the most important one of the game because i think it really determined who was actually gonna come through to the final two so i'm glad i was able to pull through and and win that one so that i'm i'm sitting here finally as the third reason well back in the first week of the competition i committed to my friends in the yellow collective on base that if i do win the grand prize of 100,000 dgen i would donate it to the collective to help with our continued work of supporting and empowering artists on chain if you do vote for team toady i am looking forward to being able to pay it forward in that way to artists and creators on chain in closing i just want to say that this experience has been extremely fun it was a great pleasure to play alongside and against all of you and getting to know all of you just a little bit better i wrote down some things some kind things about each of the final five that i wanted to share as well you can call it sucking up to the jury but i prefer to consider it public appreciation for all the effort that you guys put into this game for free you know you all have a little busy lives and busy things that you're up to and i'm sure professor really appreciates all the time and energy that you guys brought to this thing so starting with ted
alright that would take a little too long to get into but you can go back to the thread with all the with these videos in it and you can see the second part of the video where he thanks everybody on the jury and sucks up to them no it was really nice sorry he had a lot of nice things to say but it got a little long and yeah tony i did i didn't intentionally lie about the time commitment there was two things here one i didn't fully know exactly how much i was asking and then until we actually started doing it and two y'all played a lot harder at this game than i anticipated like you didn't have to play the full twenty four hours you know i did suggest breaks and such and you know truces but it chose not to take them so there you go yeah so thoughts on adrianne was obviously you know i know she had a very busy day yesterday so she was a little rushed in trying to get that get that done a little nervous there todie has you know killer editing video editing experience which is clear from that so thoughts on on the videos jason tldr

well first of all while you were talking i had the same thought that you did i was like
before we get into anything else and and learn about what's happening i just wanna say that i think everyone played well that could play you know life gets in the way so not everyone was was able to be as engaged as they wanted to be but at the end of the day it was all a game you know and it gave us something to do for a few weeks and so
everyone who was involved it takes a lot to put yourself out there and participate in that sort of way and it's not just a matter of putting your face up on there it's it's not fun sometimes to have spotlights on you so everyone deserves acknowledgment it's a it's a brave thing and then at the end of the day i hope everyone did have some degree of fun
i hope so too and i think they did i was really impressed with the level of gameplay like i could not have anticipated the level of the number of people who really dove in and really like put a lot of effort in and i truly like i was getting a little choked up thinking about this yesterday honestly because i and i'm getting a little choked up now that it's it takes you know it's a lot of time that people did and effort that they put in and they didn't have to and i so greatly appreciate that and i feel like it's part of the forecast or ecosystem of you have something new you need people to try it out and beta test it and and sort of bang it around and people are willing to do that and that is something you do not find everywhere for free like they're you know they're not necessarily i've tipped everybody dgen the top two are getting you know dgen dgen's not worth a whole lot you know even that 100,000 dgen at this point you know might be worth a $100,000 someday but at the moment so much so it's like you know i i greatly appreciate so much of the effort that's gone in and and also from both of you as well like same thing thank you
we have the easy job taking the time we have the easy job here
but it's but it's still time that you're taking out of your day that you could be doing other things and i just like i am so overwhelmingly appreciative of everybody so i appreciate those comments that you know acknowledging that
tim it wasn't fair for me to lump you into it i should have said i have the easy job i literally have the easiest job in this entire equation but the the the point i wanted to add to that is competition is one thing if if we were sitting down and playing checkers right now that's whatever but anytime you put a big stinky spotlight on the competition i don't care what it is if it's a three legged race it's gonna be nerve wracking

and then people get upset it's easy to get stressed out everyone has lives so it takes a lot from them
yeah yeah i mean i i would also comment just like looking at it holistically that it was so the most farcaster thing about this is like this is definitely the christian rap version of yeah right like this is more wholesome

know like people were yeah i mean even even the backstabbing it was like you know people understood what was happening and and the alliances were all unfair fair game and it's just like i think people voted in a lot of cases based on who they thought was playing the game well right like and it just like it i just kind of to be able to compete and have fun it's at the same time and not take it personal i feel like it's a it's one really good definition of like friendship it's like your friends are people that you can compete with and joke with but also like not take it personally and still enjoy each other and it was just like i just feel like yeah
at the end of the day shake hands and and continue on and yeah go on just yeah compete another day

the but respecting the reality that even to this point there are
dynamics that are manufactured that

we will only continue to learn more about yeah i mean you know for all we know the the the whole girls alliance turmoil could be completely manufactured and pulled everything together just to get us to this place that we are now
yeah there's a lot of they just said in the chat played up the drama a little bit yeah yeah well making it a little bigger than it actually is in you know in the reality for sure which i think
it's always it's always important to look at who's talking who's chirping but also who's not talking

and those are the kinds of things that have to go into that calculus at the end of the day
yeah i i agree i agree with that and i think that i you know i do wanna check-in with bracket game and see where we're at there because this has been i think one of the most fun and unique way oh look at this even even on the owner number i think that's funny unique unique addition to something like this right where you can have an infinite number of people participating really so that when i'm thinking this out further like to the next season and other gameplay that i have booking i think that aspect is gonna be a huge part of it so i think that makes it just a lot more fun for those who are sort of watching along and not playing we have some skin in the game and i think that's been a unique aspect of this so yeah

well what i was gonna say is that wisdom of the crowd tends to be pretty close to right in most cases i i had a product request for you tim what would be an interesting idea to play with rather than having the value of a share
infinitely well not infinitely but have you know sort of a sliding scale in terms of what max value is yeah would be nice to have a set zero to 100 you know zero degen to all the way to 100 and let everything over that accumulate into the the prize pool because what's nice about that is in this case this this doesn't math out exactly right but let's say that that was the case with this if we were able to say tony's at 56 d gen and adrian's at 44 d gen that would give us almost a wisdom of the crowd percentage of what many people think the outcome is going to be so in that case it would be saying that

know it's a 56.16% chance that it's toti and it could be interesting in the future other betting markets use that structure you know and i was just wondering if that's something you thought about
yeah i think it it's it moves it a little bit more toward like being a purer prediction market i think one thing about this as a prediction currently is that like because people can bring in whatever outside capital they have it's it's a way of people essentially being able to like weight their votes mhmm so like another version of the game that i think is is one that we've done before and will will do in the future is like people kind of getting a budget of whatever token so that like kind of everybody has the same weight and so you can see them express that budget grow grow what they have and like express it differently and it it gives like a more accurate wisdom of the crowd not just not only wisdom of like you know some few number of whales that have super high conviction right exactly also interesting right like they're just different things like but like i think i think your your your version is also cool like one thing i think that's gonna be super exciting in the future games is that bracket the the mechanism of it shines when it is a companion to a very exciting live event and so like yeah that's what i was sort of mentioning last time of like in these future games when when you have a bracket and you're able to sort of be expressing your opinion and moving in and out while you watch that thing unfolding unfolding in front of you like whether they're playing minesweeper or you know doing karaoke or whatever it is like
that is that oh that's interesting
so i i mean i think it's gonna it's gonna be it's gonna be fun i i love your point too professor about like this being a way for making the event whatever it is like include more people and give more people like an interest in a way to play along in the game
you know what could be a middle ground option is for you to just have a toggle where you know it maths out on its own i switch that toggle it takes the aggregate the cumulative number of shares and share price and total invested and then it just pulls a percentage of it so then from there it'd be like okay well toadies is actually you know 53% of the total

and then it doesn't hurt the the the scalability of being able to go up to 200 dgen

yes to crypto goes crazy he's flipped the cast out bracket on its head rage induced defiance from the purple cat to support adrian and one can't help but feeling her side just days ago well fleeing her side just days ago has taken a severe hit on the the proud feline meanwhile we contemplate how the jury will vote it was mentioned by danish propp that fc poster child and inventor of the one fourth head selfie will not forget being cast out in such a duplicitous circumstance we wait eagerly to see how the how the yin oh passivum passivum and his yang tldr a bag this bracket with the two seemingly locked in generational battle to ruin the other with the irrational and dubious trading respectively this was funny while the trauma of adrian is voted off wait no she's not has left deep rooted bracket scars ever humble i will pin my flag to a toad and await his coronation thursday so this is pretty funny i mean he just went on this like long like crazy rant and it was hilarious so any thought any thoughts on that tim by the way you're you're it was falling out a little bit there no
redux rundowns are are one of the most fun things about being in the bracket chat

he's a super active player and is watching what everybody's doing and just knows how to how to make just such a a fun reflection and commentary on stuff and yeah so i i i just love his his tone and it's it's a really fun part about being in the chat
i think about the so this kind of goes to my point about bracket where i don't think he would have been paying attention watching yeah cared at all about what was going on with cast out if he wasn't invested in the bracket right so i think that changes it for it motivates some people to you know pay attention you know so i've been able to grab their attention by making bracket available to them i think that is so interesting and such a benefit for the bracket team to be able to tie that into other other opportunities for competitions and things so i think it's
pretty cool

people are so so those of you who want to catch up on survivor before next time go look at the old old episodes so and no surprise here that todie won but i will tell you that i saw a little bit of the jury deliberations i'm sure there was more happening in places i couldn't see i know that you know the girl alliance did grill adrianne yesterday there was a far cast her meetup which i missed virtually and they were they were they were questioning her so she did manage to get one vote so and honestly i wasn't sure that was even gonna happen just based on what i was seeing they both played an amazing game and i think either one of them against probably any other player would have won but i think against each other this was gonna be the outcome so yeah tony just played harder is what it comes down to in my opinion
you know also i i i sat on this for a good long while i think we talked about it last week and i've said it to some extent in written format a few times but the the conflict the the the hard playing all of that like yeah that makes good tv that was great production value but really you put someone in a hard place when you're the connector when it's the the kind of thing that the people i'm not saying that this was necessarily because because tony had an interesting strategy of
being very back and forth in terms of of how rough he was playing but there is an element and i'd like to maybe you know contestants future contestants who who may have be watching this now it's a nice idea to think if there's at least one person who commits to like i'm playing clean i am going to i want everyone to you know have a great time that doesn't necessarily guarantee you're gonna win

but that throws a wrench into everything if somebody screws them over

because a people watching at home have certain feelings about it and b people playing start looking at the person who screwed the nice person over and it really shakes things up so the connectors are are always the the unsung heroes
yeah i agree i agree i think it's been really interesting and i think the other thing that surprised me is that we were able to pull in a lot of the elements of survivor like even the like to your point when i said you know maybe i need to make the yoink game shorter and not have it go twenty four hours and you were like no that's the physical challenge part of it and i'm like oh you know i really didn't think of it like that i'm like that's a great point so maybe we leave it and and then the social game had so many layers to it because you not only have the layer of the players themselves in the game but you have the layer of the players outside the game who are also working with each other and doing different things and interacting on warp cast and so it's it's the social game i think has like greater aspects than it does in the regular traditional survivor

so i think that that adds just another opportunity for interesting gameplay to to play out for sure

because people tend to like not vote somebody off because they're afraid of repercussions ira like in the real in the quote unquote real world right in outside of the game so it's it's interesting to see how this is gonna play out
a gentle degree of production schedule would would probably also be worthwhile so people are putting
names to faces and faces to names that if there's you know unexpected your team gets together at this time on this day record your google meet and you know

and that's the problem with certain questions
yeah that's the aspect i i have to think through is i didn't i didn't require any you know screen time for a couple of reasons one just for timing and not wanting to add additional yeah expectations and but going forward i might add that into the application to play you know where it would be open up and it'll be something that people can expect ahead of time the other thing i was talking to tim about and this will be something i i think more about as i move on is you know do i condense this into two weeks instead of having it play out over four weeks and have it be four you know tribe games and then four individual or something like that over two week period you know something i'll i'll think through and figure out what makes sense and i'll sort of ask the players as well you know would that have been a better format for them so we'll see i i don't know you know it could go either way kristen did ask in the chat do we get to see who voted for whom yeah oh oh do we get to know who voted for who throughout the game plus the finale and here's what i'm gonna do i'm not gonna reveal votes however i will confirm votes if the person if anybody wants to reveal their own so especially for the finale i'll leave that up to the jury because there's so few of them that if they want to reveal who they voted for i will confirm it but i won't i'm not gonna reveal so i kinda thought that through a couple different ways and again this goes into the you know the game is there's more to the game right there's there's a whole other aspect of these social connections so i don't want to cause any any stress for anybody so yeah that's the way i'll that's the way i'll do it is confirmation but i won't i won't out anybody so i'll leave it

yeah so it's been really fun yes so the final votes were who were the four votes so yes to crypto was just asking he was confused because he was expecting he was expecting it to be you know who was casted out but the way that survivor works is the final vote you're voting for a person to win and the jury was informed of that you're voting for the person to win not for the person to be casted out not for the person to be voted off so that's just the normal survivor rules so the jury was well aware it was on their ballot and all of that so that's who they were voting for to win so if you want to find out who voted for adrian i'm not telling they'll have to tell you yeah

wait for it ones and they might they might i'll ask if they want to be revealed so thank you so much for everybody who's watched everyone who's who's been here i'm gonna ask if you know i asked the players if anybody wanted to pop on they were welcome to adrian is out and about so she wasn't gonna be available and toady is sick at home and the whole family's got like some kind of flu going on so he's probably in bed on his on his spat so we'll try and do maybe some kind of recap show down the road when we get past the holidays maybe as we lead into the next season i might try and pull some of the players together to chat about it and as we as we do that and i'm planning probably mid august for that so we'll see we'll see as we start to pull things together i'm hoping i can get some additional sponsors for future shows and we can up that prize pool that's part of the goal and but like i'm still incredibly impressed by how hard people will play for a 100,000 d gen so

yeah i i just wanna i just wanna echo what what adrian said in her video and tony and like everybody's saying in the chat and it's just professor like you putting this together and running it was absolutely amazing i mean you did something that felt real and fun and exciting and every like you created that out of nothing it's it's really just like it's tremendous and it was super fun to be a part of it and like it's just it's just awesome like very very impressive and and you're amazing
it's my little crazy brain my my little crazy brain has lots of crazy ideas that i'll be rolling out over the next couple months so get ready this is just the beginning we're just getting started

think that and i don't know if you've thought about this already i i don't think that the cast out channels should be limited to this one game it might as well just be the channel for all games it's you know it's it's a legacy name it already has an audience that is interested in this and it's just like if you were watching game shows on channel five it doesn't matter that the price is right and jeopardy are on there you just go to channel five for those games right i'll i'll have more reflections as i marinate on this a little bit i'll do that on

farcaster but parting thought that came to mind while tim was talking is i i don't think i've ever heard a serious limerick like limericks are probably the most ridiculous art form and i can't imagine there being one that's like actually heartfelt and serious so that's what i'll leave you with okay
