When you welcome someone new, point them towards the FC native media. GM Farcaster has an archive of all major dev and culture moments of the past year. (including @ted's 5 day boycott) And jumping into @unlonely streams and interacting with others real time helps get newbies integrated. We know because they've told us. There's also some great podcasts like @ted @nonlinear.eth Many Such Case, @dawufi Vibe Check and @woj @six By the Numbers that help inform and share culture, @yb terminally online, @cameron and @christin streams, @pichi @humpty.eth audio spaces and so many more! And @cojo.eth the mole will never die! @adrienne and I will make sure of it! Also -- meetups but that usually comes later. I love the new feature Zora introduced; it's really innovative and I believe it will offer many new use cases. For anyone still confused, here's a brief summary: once the minting period for NFTs ends, they transform into tokens and become tradable as tokens. Both the creator and the collector benefit from this. 🔥

Update: experiment was a success, power badge is no more in Warpcast! Active users saw no impact and new users benefitted from this change. Warpcast will remove power badges from the UI permanently. If you are a developer who uses Power Badge, @neynar will continue supporting the Power Badge API for you.

Today, we released a major upgrade of the @zora protocol. We are bringing secondary markets onchain with @uniswap to unlock more value for creators and collectors after a mint. When the mint ends, the market begins. It's like magic.

"SIWF is actually Sign in with Warpcast" 1. The AuthKit library is open source -- anyone is free to fork it and make it work with their client. https://docs.farcaster.xyz/auth-kit/ 2. The long term goal is to make it work with any "Farcaster wallet", i.e. apps that can handle all the Farcaster-specific signatures and transactions for using the onchain / Hub identity system. 3. SIWF is currently an extension of SIWE (Sign in with Ethereum). This means you need to sign in with your Farcaster custody address / private key -- which for the vast majority of users is stored on their phone with Warpcast (many in a Passkey). 4. We opted for the pragmatic v1 where it works reasonably well (still some improvements on QR code) for most people in a more human readable way around permissions than a normal SIWE signature. 5. We will eventually add make it support multiple Farcaster wallets, but there hasn't been much demand from users and devs have preferred us to focus on growth.
