Category: Safety Risk: Tokens / Airdrops Tags: due-diligence, pause, fake Notes: anytime there is speculative attention on a particular area of crypto, bad actors will flock there and attempt to take advantage of this. We've seen DC scams, we've seen fake tokens, token dusting of wallets, and all sorts of classic scams. Feeling keenly aware of how in a moment with lots of happy button clicking, buttons clicked can = sad feelings. Just slow down, thats the best way to protect yourself. I promise you, nothing you need to get in a moment is worth it, just slow down and double check stuff. ask a friend.

New on Warpcast: channel tabs The home screen now has tabs for your channels Which channels will appear at tabs? - Channels that will appear as tabs - favorited channels - channels where you are a member How does tab ordering work? - 1st tab — will always be Home, not customizable - 2nd tab — will always be your top favorited channel, customizable - 3 through 15 — algorithm based on unread status How many channel tabs? - Limited to 15 tabs How do I favorite a channel? - Favorite channels on channel pages, your list of favorite channels will appear in the side menu How do I manage my favorites? - Re-order your favorites in the side menu via drag and drop. The channel at the top of your favorites will be the 2nd tab.

There is a token launched today which is: 1. Claiming to be from Farcaster (it's not) 2. Requesting an app key to get an airdrop If you give it an app key it can delete your casts or cast other messages from your account. Be careful out there, and never give app keys to apps you don't fully trust.
