does 4 picture posts work for panoramas? let’s find out
Update on Farcaste Pro for developers 1. Farcaster Pro subscription contract is deployed and live on Base. All new subscriptions through the Farcaster app happen onchain (like sign ups). Developers can permissionlessly build on the contract. 2. Contract supports monthly subscriptions. We may add monthly subscriptions and gifting subscriptions to the Farcaster app in the future. Other developers can offer that functionality today if they want. 3. Snapchain is reading from the contract and gating certain features — 10K character casts, 4 embeds, profile banners — based on pro subscription status. 3. A huge shout out @dynemyte @blockheim @gabrielayuso.eth @gt @horsefacts.eth @sanjay for all their hard work. From idea to onchain and fully in the protocol in less than 6 weeks.

clanker v4 will fundamentally alter the way creators, traders, and teams think about liquid markets this next iteration of the clanker you know & love will unlock endless capabilities for all sorts of creative clanks so how will YOU clank? here's a primer on what's imminent: https://paragraph.com/@dish/introducing-clanker-v4
Lots of mini app related things launching today - Neynar starter kit is now a deployed mini app so you can see it in action before starting off with it - "npx @neynar/create-farcaster-mini-app" or try linked demo - starter kit now automatically supports light mode and dark mode switching - [this is the big one] there is now a built in Share component that not only allows personalized sharing but automatically tags your _best friends_ on the network so they can try out the app* *We calculate best friends for every user and have made this available as an API. This means any mini app developer can now get their users to share their mini app effectively, from the get go! https://neynar-starter-kit.vercel.app/share/1568
And this is how I learned Pro got the new 10k character limit (you go touch grass for one day and ya miss stuff!)
Another bullish case for Farcaster... Would you rather spend countless hours building a brand presence and at any moment be deplatformed? Or Build where you can't be canceled, your voice matters, tribes are genuine, and the potential is limitless? Farcaster is small but mighty 🫡

PSA We shipped a new horizontal "embed" viewer on casts. Supports multiple images, video, URLs and mini apps. Getting ready for supporting 4 embeds for Pro subscribers later today.
this is how 4 different farcaster clients show my user profile. some interesting notes: - fc is the only one that hides spam accounts. of my 9.4k followers, only 3.6k are not “spammy” - uno shows neither followers or following - recaster & super display FID - badges: recaster & super show what i assume to be PRO badges (but might also be power badge remnants). super also shows subscriber badges. no badges on uno. - X links on all except uno. fc also shows streaks and $ earned (i deleted it here) - PFP most prominently displayed on uno, which is a design-forward app. - not shown, but super and recaster use your display name (sparkz) in-feed. uno and fc opt for your username (jacy). i have a strong preference for display name over username.
Things we are going to improve soon: - Fluctuating follow counts - False positive spam labels - Notifications getting too noisy Anything else annoying you?
the usdc from my warplet keeps disappearing I was so confused I just realized tipping tuesdays is not sponsored by warpcast, and the max amount you can tip is based on your usdc balance, not some sort of engagement performance 🤦♂️ non standard tipping wallet UI confused me
