maybe

0:02Speaker 1

maybe we might be live okay i think we're live i'm telling you we're having a bit of a rough technical go of it this week and and we're feeling very laggy we don't know if you're experiencing lag but we're gonna just push forward super excited about our show today we're gonna do a little bit of farcaster news to start and then we have ben and jt nichols ben broad and jt nichols coming on to talk about eb mavericks and i'm really excited about that to learn more so you see my little lions in the background and they're and that might be i might have to get rid of my my background maybe that's what's slowest down but i didn't get that alert from streamyard so i thought we were fine

0:53Speaker 1

i am a little laggy

0:58Speaker 2

okay

1:00Speaker 0

why not rid of

1:01Speaker 1

my background

1:02Speaker 3

it has

1:02Speaker 1

to be on the safe side let's get you guys started with our intro and we'll be right back in forty seconds

1:13Speaker 1

1:53Speaker 1

gm farcaster okay i took my background off just to see if that helps a little bit but we do have this fabulous background with all the fun lions in the background so very excited for our show today adrienne how are we doing now hopefully this is not

2:12Speaker 2

possible my background off

2:14Speaker 1

i think that might be it backgrounds it seems to be i think what happened is toady got to streamyard he's very anti virtual background and messed with it and said make sure that it gets them really messed up every time they use a virtual background this is my theory it's running theory todie totally calling you out it's probably nothing

2:36Speaker 2

okay this isn't a new virtual background i switched mine up it's really bad i'm wondering if we should just like quickly switch no

2:45Speaker 1

i think we're good right now i think something so we got this notification the other day that streamyard was having problems with virtual backgrounds it might degrade you know the the stream so but we still wanted to wanted to try so anyway i think we're good now

3:00Speaker 2

and i'm in a new place i'm in a new location she's closer to

3:04Speaker 0

the wifi i'm standing up

3:05Speaker 2

i just like grabbed my laptop and i'm standing next to my wifi router and we're gonna

3:11Speaker 3

just

3:12Speaker 0

we're just trying we're trying everything we're literally trying everything

3:16Speaker 1

to make this work and i seriously look like i am back in the cape cod airbnb like the the the bed and breakfast i mean it's just hilarious

3:25Speaker 2

i love how our ai summarized the episode and caught on too

3:28Speaker 3

like it picks up the good you

3:30Speaker 2

know the highlights of the episode we talk about the cape cod airbnb

3:34Speaker 1

it's so funny our our chat like chat gbt has gotten really good at summarizing our episodes it's really funny so very excited we're gonna have ben joining us in just a little bit along with jt nichols i believe so but before that let's dive in to some fun stories that we have going on as well as and by

3:56Speaker 2

the name it's thursday it's thursday it's thursday 11:30 eastern so if you made it here it's like thank you you're following along it's we're not normally live but

4:06Speaker 0

we're not normally live to have

4:08Speaker 2

a nice long weekend my dog is

4:10Speaker 0

by

4:10Speaker 1

the way that means i adrianne i didn't do our regular opening so let's start over gm farcaster it's thursday july 10

4:20Speaker 0

and you were here with naomi chapman adrianne for twenty nine minutes of

4:24Speaker 1

farcaster who's not even and then a chat with the ev mavorites team

4:31Speaker 1

i totally we're so off today because we were fixing all this technical stuff that we just didn't even start right but let's dive in we've got a few things but it's super quiet this week everyone's still on vacation i swear so it's very quiet but i'm gonna start with this from v 99% of the people complaining about spam are not in spam just like zalcow monster easy way to check profile three dots about spam label if you want me to reply to your complaint please post a screenshot of this page showing that you have a spam label today and i will respond so this is like the really important part of it here is he's happy to help you but it has to be like you have to show that the label is there and then we can fix that problem but don't be coming to be with your fake i have a spam label and i don't just try to engagement farm or something i don't know what you're doing there but knock it off all right moving on this from linda and this is your fault i'm not an engineer or an expert by voter i literally learned how to build a mini app one week ago and not pretending otherwise point is even with someone like me it's easy to get started in gatekeeping new stuff i'm learning is dumb so why i'm doing live streams teaching others so this was kind of a little bit of a whoops where'd we go where'd i go oh no there we go this was a little shout out and sort of subtweet to our discussion about whether or not i could five code something we'll see because now

6:14Speaker 2

i didn't even i didn't think that was a sub that was a subcast

6:21Speaker 2

you are

6:22Speaker 1

yeah it was

6:23Speaker 0

yeah it was

6:24Speaker 1

it was regards because she also responded to she was listening to the show she heard it and she she said i can help you professor i am totally convinced you can do this i will help you let's do a live stream so now she's in my dms we're setting up a time so next week adrianne's gonna be on vacation at the end of the week we have rachel coming in on wednesday to co host and then i'm gonna try to arrange a time with linda just to try and vibe code something so either on thursday or friday next week so we'll see we'll see we'll see

6:57Speaker 2

that's gonna be amazing

6:58Speaker 1

it's gonna be fun but i'm still not convinced that my skills are where they need to be but we'll see i guess we will find out now won't we speaking of vibe coding he's not wrong but it's also like this too this was in regard to royal aid saying how i imagine keckers while while they are vibe coding and it was hello kitty breaking the computer so this will be me next week so preview future preview me next week when i'm trying to vibe code a mini app but we'll see this is some exciting news so we have some exciting news from some builders this is one from dish clanker v four is officially here deployment through the clanker.world deploy app clanker on farcaster sdk and api api now support uniswap v four and clanker extensions featuring static and dynamic fees configurable fee collection tokens sniper auctions see below for more info on our latest updates so there's a lot of detail in here there's full docs that you can go check out in terms of the documentation to see all the things especially if you're building on top of flanker you're gonna wanna check this out but this is exciting and i told you i've had a little something something in my brain for a while which i also wanted to be able to do a mini app to go along with it so this might

8:35Speaker 4

be

8:36Speaker 1

excellent excellent timing i just realized i hadn't retweeted us so let me do that real quick so this is kind of this is so we gotta go do some flanking now and see see what we can see what we can come up with but very exciting glad to see the the clanker team okay we we love them we love you dish and team alright moving on this was we talked to yesterday from noyce and one of the new features is this stimmy that you can do similar to like almost like a raindrop if you remember those from dgen so this is from div who used this process stimmy seasons here and i see a bunch of people getting paid on the timeline let me get in on this action too dropping 20,000 noise per recast of on this cast just make sure you tip with the noise app at least once in the next twenty four hours to be eligible noise bot run it for accounts with spam label equals two and budget of 5,000,000 noise and then the bot confirms distribute 20,000 noise to account spam label two that recasts the above and tip the noise app at the end of twenty four hours so very cool that you can set up this programmatically and this is what ben bassler was using from dash for to promote dash and he said woke up to these numbers on the latest feature announcement for dash noisebot is an unbelievable distribution engine so he had two two thousand recast 12 quotes 1.4 k likes six k views so you know for anyone who's looking for new ways to grab attention for something you're building definitely worth checking this out along with amps and all the other things this is a new new one for you so pretty cool it looks like people get

10:36Speaker 2

paid somehow

10:38Speaker 1

yeah yeah something people like getting paid it's weird who knew who who knew people like getting paid okay this i do not fully understand i am saying this out loud and just letting you know this is from will papper over 3,000 sailors under twenty four hours left before we set sail join now and it's now actually sailing so this is from syndicate and it is a mini app where you sail a boat

11:09Speaker 1

i don't know i don't know you sail a boat and then apparently what's gonna happen is as you log in i feel like it's like a little oregon trail ish is the way i'm taking this it's a survival game mend your boat daily last one left at sea wins a game by syndicate the game is underway ships have already boarded and are headed out to sea so i don't know we're gonna see we're gonna see how this all goes down but if if you wanna play go check it out get your boat it's adrift we're adrift now

11:40Speaker 3

so

11:41Speaker 2

it sounds like we can't play

11:42Speaker 1

you can but i'm taking it like it's oregon trail but

11:48Speaker 2

sounds like oregon so that

11:50Speaker 1

out oops did i lose her or did you lose me

11:56Speaker 2

i don't know i think we lost you

11:57Speaker 1

yeah oregon trail say again

12:00Speaker 2

so it sounds like it's oregon trail

12:02Speaker 1

i'm back i think i'm back

12:04Speaker 2

we're talking over each other if anyone people will find out in two seconds from now it sounds like it's oregon trail meets farmville or farville because it sounds like you gotta amend your boat daily so you gotta do some work yes

12:21Speaker 1

yep proof of work you're gonna have to do something with the boat every day that is my understanding speaking of new games on the timeline i don't know what this is i'm gonna tell you i went in i played around with it it's a pet rock game but there is a but they turned bert's pet rock into him like they turned like his little avatar

12:49Speaker 3

into

12:51Speaker 1

him and it's really cute so that's adorable

12:59Speaker 1

and oh for god's sakes i think we lost ourselves again oh you guys are hearing this this is the game and it's really funny where you're just running around and there's bert and he's got a rock tied to his he's like a rock on a leash and you run around this game and that's it that's all i can tell that it is but it's kinda cute and kinda funny and there is a chat so go check this out it's pretty funny and if it's got a little baby bird then what else do you need also in many apps adrianne have you seen griv yet have you tried griv

13:40Speaker 2

okay no but i've seen people talk about it and i don't know what it is so i'm hoping you can educate me

13:46Speaker 1

my understanding is is it is similar to like receipts but you're you're putting your griv turns your workout screenshot into a zero to 100 score based on duration and effort so what you do is upload your photo the llm gives you a griv score based on your workout you do right now have to request access to this from igor and he will give you access to use it i've not requested access but i do think it's funny because i am seeing it a lot on the timeline right now so it's very cool to see that people are jumping in using it it's it's

14:30Speaker 1

this is sort of what it's doing this video gives you a little bit of like a

14:44Speaker 1

our friend gabe here gabe einhorn go to i don't know if you saw this did you see them go to times square and do push ups no they went to times square and did push ups so and then they they put it into grif so that is the founder of grif right there igor with gabe and they are doing push ups time score oh and put on grif so this was really funny so here they go their push ups and then they posted the video they uploaded the video to griv to get there to get their points but also this was from gabe farcaster in real life what do you guys think of taking farcaster to the next level and meeting in person who wants to meet next so if you wanna meet up with if you're in new york wanna meet up with gabe reach out because apparently he will do push ups with you in times square if that's what you're into

15:38Speaker 0

so that you know

15:41Speaker 2

brock you wanna do that tomorrow

15:42Speaker 1

more things

15:44Speaker 2

no you're in the northeast you just hop on that hop on the hop on the amtrak

15:50Speaker 1

no and we'll meet you

15:51Speaker 2

in times square tomorrow

15:53Speaker 0

i'm not doing push ups in times square no i think connecticut's good for us halfway we got

16:00Speaker 1

a few more a couple more things and then we're gonna jump in with our chat with ben and jt from evmavericks this from kyle patrick getting a bit excited around the ecosystem dgen app next week banker clanker eco doing banker clanker stuff noise amps tip and flywheel base launching something on july 16 probably tba tons of new exciting mini apps launched and will be launched rock etcetera that would be your pet rock if you missed that things i can't say publicly yet because they're not publicly announced yet not my newsletter we are cooking and i i feel this too at the same time it feels very quiet but i feel like there's a lot of building and things happening in the background and things are kinda like ramping up and i think a lot of us are waiting for like let's see what happens next week with coinbase wallet

16:50Speaker 2

i was thinking but i think there's

16:51Speaker 1

a lot of prep for that yeah were you yeah

16:54Speaker 2

yeah like i got my and then you forget then you have to like remember what's coming and yeah it's like yeah

17:02Speaker 1

there's a lot coming

17:04Speaker 2

yeah for this and what we mean i feel like yeah which is there's a there's a new app about to be launched we think the tba to be announced or the builders app or the best app or something else

17:23Speaker 1

or the base app it could be any of those things or it could be completely none of those things it's anything is possible okay couple more things and i think you'll appreciate this one adrian this was from ted learning that people are tipping each other then one slides into dms with the thank you then the flirting starts slowly at first and then they turn the dial up let's fucking go no one ever slid into my dms but i'm happy for anyone i don't know if that was a request or that's but you know dan always joked that you know every social network is a dating app just you know just depends on on how you get there apparently tips might be the way

18:06Speaker 2

for every

18:07Speaker 1

there's oh there's many problems

18:09Speaker 3

okay fine i don't even need to

18:11Speaker 2

say it for every future marriage that starts with a tip and a dm there's like 10 harassment dms where people are like yeah get out get out

18:23Speaker 1

absolutely absolutely

18:24Speaker 2

but sure ted feel free to

18:26Speaker 1

stir the

18:26Speaker 2

pot and and encourage this

18:31Speaker 1

yeah yep you never know i mean you never know it can happen it can definitely happen this i pulled up just mostly for me literally my oldest kid fortunately the youngest is normal no one that person so this is a matter of like raw raw tomatoes versus tomatoes in other things can you guess which one is me

18:53Speaker 2

yes it's you

18:54Speaker 1

and which one is me and

18:56Speaker 2

dan romero and everybody else who hates raw tomatoes apparently

19:03Speaker 0

exactly exactly

19:05Speaker 2

yeah i'll be

19:05Speaker 1

in the bottom

19:07Speaker 2

i will say okay so this is a running joke if you're new to the show that professor doesn't eat fruit and i eat pickles anything i love my raw veggies and pickles and fruit anyway i will say tomato was one of the last like or is it a fruit or vegetable whatever it's one of the last foods i added to my rotation as an adult did not like as a kid the raw ones and so i get it

19:38Speaker 1

i can't do them

19:40Speaker 2

but it's most of what you're getting from like the grocery store like 95% of raw tomatoes is really bad

19:51Speaker 1

true i don't care i've i've had the ones that have grown in a garden don't like it it's a texture thing i've got issues i get it but i related i am in this picture and i'm okay with it not mad about it at all this is really funny from pluto of minds apparently you're an influencer now my home feed is trash following feed is bad too maybe time for prune because i feel less motivated to post on fc because scrolling feels bad bad right now which is very interesting i like the way adrian is experimenting might try some things too yeah we've got some lag no we're not moving to teams we're not moving to teams but yeah we've got we've got some we've got some lag going here so this is funny and then chris corella did the same thing so you know people unfollowing people everywhere vibes are off am i an influencer

20:50Speaker 1

so adrienne tell us about your experiment how is it going i know you were rerunning a script now to refollow some people like what's going on

21:00Speaker 2

okay

21:03Speaker 2

i will tell you about my my unfollow all refollow all experiment i'm gonna assume people can hear me even if cannot so anyway

21:15Speaker 2

you're three seconds behind okay two days ago i ran a script to unfollow everybody i did it because the vibes were a little off in my feed but also because i wanted to just play around so farcaster has open apis i wanted to just play like programmable social is the cool thing about farcaster let's lean into it so i wrote a script unfollowed everybody i promised everyone i would refollow everyone back i just use my feed as is unfollowing anyone it was kind of interesting in the morning like day one by day two and this morning just not good so you wanna follow people like i think who you're following will determine who you're gonna see in your feed definitely worth it so i ran the follow all the re follow all it all 2,311 people i unfollowed two days ago i am following you again i don't even like to say this but it was a complete engagement hack because now i'm showing up in everybody's notifications oh saying adrian followed you so people are coming back to reply saying oh you followed me oh i you know i thought you were already following me they're going to my feed to see what i did i don't like to say it because you know i hate engagement games but it's like my notifications are on fire right now like everyone is engaging back and people i was following before but weren't following me back and it let me reiterate i don't give a fuck if you don't follow me back i do not care about these things not your worth but but now that you know and maybe they weren't active when i follow them they didn't you know they but now they're getting notified that i'm following them and i'm getting a lot more followers back that i wasn't before and i don't think this is people who unfollowed me anyway fascinating so i'm back it's two days later i ran it i really hate engagement games but i love just like the experimentation and playing around and what i think is also interesting is people seem to be really enjoying the like just liking to see people play around and i think that's what makes farcaster cool so i had a thought that maybe i could if you know one the script is open source and it's on github so anyone who wants to run it can if anyone wants help running it let me know and then i thought about either maybe running a workshop to help people play around with like it's just fun it's fun so that's that

23:47Speaker 1

yeah stikrifto's in he's in yeah that's awesome and and i appreciate you always experimenting publicly and showing everybody what you're doing so oh that's funny and you're giving dopamine hits as well so miriam i got a dopamine hit when i got that adrian foster yeah

24:07Speaker 2

i did have a thought though that like maybe it's worth it to do a little bit of pruning

24:15Speaker 1

yeah

24:17Speaker 2

but i promised everyone i would follow back so i did so okay if i followed you back you're not special you're just

24:26Speaker 2

except for you mariam because i do love you so much no you're special

24:29Speaker 0

like andrea is special andrea that just like ruined everybody's like happiness

24:36Speaker 2

i'm a mom that's so funny

24:37Speaker 3

you know it's like everyone is loved equally

24:38Speaker 1

everyone's special and everybody gets a trophy that's so funny alright i have one last thing and this is from our friends our friend afrochicks who's said

24:55Speaker 3

p a vod customer my vid is full what's that when many ops were called free i make generational

25:17Speaker 3

best email even no email is i have 16 five and four i remember when vodcast didn't have

25:29Speaker 4

images

25:30Speaker 3

and now you're posting your badge

25:33Speaker 3

what do you know about wow wow i saw a guy fly to kenya to find a dave what do you even

25:46Speaker 1

so funny so funny

25:49Speaker 2

incredible

25:50Speaker 1

incredible i felt a little attacked but that's okay

25:55Speaker 2

i'm in that video

25:57Speaker 0

i'm in that video and

25:58Speaker 1

i'm fine with it exactly told him the warps

26:01Speaker 0

i was like oh that's adrian

26:05Speaker 1

i have six digit warps i know yeah she it wasn't even high enough

26:10Speaker 0

she said like 16,000 i'm like not even close to adrian

26:15Speaker 1

alright hopefully like getting rid of all my shares and stuff works and hopefully we can bring these folks up and have like a regular conversation without too much lag so we're going to bring up ben and jt to the stage from ev mavericks very excited to have them here welcome it's so good to see you i don't think i've ever seen ben have we met in person i don't think so

26:42Speaker 4

no i hide behind my my ev mavericks avatar for the most part unless i'm on a call or in person but nice to see you both

26:50Speaker 1

nice to meet you yeah and and i yes i know you as the the famous lion and i think jt we have crossed paths a couple times on on video but it's great to have you both here and jt you are both muted if you wanna unmute there

27:07Speaker 5

yeah thank you appreciate you

27:10Speaker 1

with a nice a perfect microphone look at that audio

27:14Speaker 2

podcasting the voice for podcasting so jealous of that

27:18Speaker 5

well thank you my my father was in broadcasting and i i've been a pro dj for twenty five years i am see all kinds of events so yeah happy to be here

27:28Speaker 1

you got the dj voice it makes all it makes all so much sense right now okay it makes so much sense he's got that brought he got that perfect radio voice it's amazing so adrienne i'm gonna let you take it away and and start us off here go ahead

27:44Speaker 2

yeah well ben i i know you from farcaster and just one of the people who've kind of crossed paths over the feed as we do over over the years and then you've reached out and and i we we mentioned this earlier but efi mavericks is sponsoring today's show so we thank you for that you found our media kit professor and i don't do heavy biz dev but we really appreciate your help

28:08Speaker 4

i came to you inbound marketing

28:10Speaker 2

yeah we love it and and i asked you i was like alright well tell us like tell me what goals you have for for sponsoring the show and you're like well we just wanna sponsor the show and i'm like that was like the number one goal i'm like i i don't get it i don't i i don't get it like you you we'll help you out but so your number one and two goals were like one supporting us which obviously we're super grateful for and and two wanting to support you said trusted collaborative web three education across a variety of topics so i imagine this is where you're coming from and then yes so i i have seen ev mavericks on the feed you sent your white paper i've read it i thought it was incredibly inspiring crazy back lore in terms of where you guys come from i don't think people know about it can we start there and can you kinda share either of you kind of like who ev mavericks is and what your backstory is

29:03Speaker 4

jt if you want take it away

29:05Speaker 5

yeah i'll i'll keep it brief once upon a time in a land called reddit there was a subreddit called eth trader which was where all the d gens hung out and once upon a time there was an idea to split over into eat finance so we did that and then not too long after that we got approached by a a person by the name of ether raider they wanted to produce an nft project and it was based on the amount of contributions people had made to reddit and we came up with the meme number of 1,324 i won't get into the origin story but basically everybody got airdropped to d d maverick that were the top 1,324 contributors to re finance so what we understand to be true is that this is the first retroactively awarded nft based on community effort that the these were not for sale that they were never sold and the creator of the mavericks was able to earn up to 32 eth on the trading on these nfts over time so basically we gave him a validator and the rest is history

30:18Speaker 1

that's amazing and it's this this is the the lion is the one right am i correct

30:25Speaker 2

do i

30:25Speaker 1

have that right okay

30:26Speaker 5

yep

30:27Speaker 1

amazing

30:30Speaker 5

so when you say

30:31Speaker 2

so is he staking now the like the creator of the

30:34Speaker 5

oh i'm sure is yeah yeah i'm definitely sure so yeah he's that's what they look like there he designed all the traits and the different qualities and whatnot just an incredible pride filled moment for the community based on you know it was basically people that are true community members that have contributed over a very long period of time and contributed to a high quality discussion so i guess long story short if you see those mavericks out in the wild on x or farcaster or any other social media platform generally you can see there's multiples of us that find our way into the comments and we're just ethereum bulls at heart for the most part and it's just i don't know it's a real pride filled thing to be i feel like that's the most useful style of nft you can have which is based off off of a straight up merit over time and yeah they're tradable so some people have sold it it's fine if they wanna do that and other people bought them and and join the pride

31:37Speaker 4

yeah we've gained some cool interesting members in recent weeks months so yeah

31:44Speaker 5

yeah original people that redeemed their ev mavericks you've heard of like paul brodie from david hoffman from bankless probably anthony susano at one point i mean there's just a bunch of the ogs from reddit that have been around for a long time and you know it's just it's just a unique nft project there's very little token gating in the community and there's a whole lot of good that the ev mavericks have done outwardly to help fund different things different websites different tools out there for people it's a very high ethos brand if you will of givers and doers

32:21Speaker 0

love that

32:22Speaker 2

are they so are they on are they on main net

32:25Speaker 5

yep as far as i know right ben

32:30Speaker 4

yeah main mainnet was that the joke

32:32Speaker 1

yeah it's on mainnet yeah

32:35Speaker 2

it wasn't even a joke i'm just like i want one

32:37Speaker 1

main and

32:38Speaker 5

one of my the

32:39Speaker 4

the the nfts are on mainnet and then we actually called our dao the main main net dao

32:47Speaker 2

main right i heard from you saying something about pride i was like okay i'm not up on my my lion puns

32:55Speaker 5

oh yeah

32:55Speaker 1

you know crypto is a very punny place and you have to have your puns ready to go you know this is what i've learned from toadie hawk so there you go that's

33:05Speaker 2

yeah and were you both kind of og community members then and better yeah

33:12Speaker 5

yeah i mean certainly

33:14Speaker 4

i was yeah i was in both eth trader and eth finance and actually the reason that i even like stuck around in crypto was because i saw people like jt and dc investor and others in the eth trader and eth finance like conviction conviction conviction and i was like as a beginner in the space at the time i said okay these guys know what they're talking about i need to keep digging i need to accumulate and that was before ev mavericks but it it just ev mavericks amplified that feeling for me and gave me even more of a sense of belonging and and community

33:49Speaker 5

yeah

33:49Speaker 1

i'm glad investor might be one of the most bullish eth bulls that i've ever ever seen like i love that's one of my favorite accounts on twitter which i've i've at times put i've put messages on come to farcaster come to farcaster it's like he's there but

34:04Speaker 4

he doesn't podcast he's like

34:06Speaker 1

yeah he's like i need to i need to be have a larger audience i need to you know he's more of an evangelist and he likes to have the you know which i appreciate we we need those evangelists so i appreciate that yeah he's very very instrumental he felt like he was preaching to the choir when he was over on farcaster so i get it i get it he wants to

34:26Speaker 5

yeah he likes to do battle on x yeah

34:28Speaker 1

exactly he loves the trenches

34:32Speaker 2

farcaster how are you guys finding farcaster

34:36Speaker 4

i love it i'm active all the time and i i've been in since like 2023 and and maybe i didn't like go all in right away but then i think mid twenty twenty four or early twenty twenty four that's when i i really went pedal to the metal and i don't think i think there's been very few days where i haven't at least logged in and looked around i think i'm more active than jt but i love learning and experimenting and supporting people so it's fun for me

35:02Speaker 5

yeah ben is ben is more active on farcaster than i am but i do have an i do have an account and so yeah i do drop in from time to time but as far as the maverick podcast goes he he handles the the the gm side of things on the farcaster and he brings some alpha back from there that just doesn't exist in other places ben has been able to find projects on farcaster that didn't exist on on reddit so much or on x and and was able to bring those guests to our podcast so it's been it's a really nice cross pollination to stay stay with so thank you ben

35:38Speaker 4

of course

35:39Speaker 1

let's talk about the podcast yeah yeah the the having that one person across all nation

35:44Speaker 2

or just that is like some things are originating on farcaster and then goes out some things are not and comes in and and and yes and i do wanna talk about the podcast but shout out nice hat ben is that a swag is that a swag

35:57Speaker 1

swag caster nice swag caster hat love it yeah so let's talk about daily dudes and you also have the happy hour so talk a little bit about what both of them like is it one is it still the same thing or and and if i'm hearing shortly you're also you're recording it in a discord so are you recording it in the ev mavericks discord so people are watching live in there or just recording in there okay

36:25Speaker 5

yeah so so we do as far as the format of the of the podcast kind of interesting we use zoom for the video side and then we use discord stage for the audio side and then i bring all that together through obs and then out to restream and we live stream every friday two eastern so what it is is it's like i said we're a real high heat those type of podcast we're we're basically funded just by the people that listen to us and a few grants here and there we're not a for profit we have no sponsors and we we do something kind of interesting yeah no sponsors yet yeah we we do something interesting going back again to reddit so like i said we had the evie mavericks nft that was based off of like contributions some of those contributions are tallied in the form of points using a tool called reddit enhancement suite what i figured out a few years ago is hey it would be kinda cool if we made like a top 10 list of the best comments from the eth finance daily okay now we're on our ethereum so anyway take the top 10 comments anybody that subjectively makes it to the top 10 gets awarded a point okay those are called duts so people accumulate duts over time and we have a rich list and then what we do is we actually pull from each week the top 10 of the week so now that becomes the core and crux of the podcast where i go through and read the comments so you don't have to to learn about what were people talking about in the previous week we add in a guest that we always interview at the beginning of the show the guest gets to stick around and be a color commentator for whatever it is one of our team members picks out to be the best of the week it could be technical stuff it could be massively funny shit posts it could be just market action it could be macroeconomics it could be a little bit of politics i never know until we hit play on the show and our color commentator is there to banner back and forth as we react to the reading of the dukes as of right now we have over 1,200 people that have received at least one dut with several people that have received over a 100 to a 150 duts so it's it's just a leaderboard it's kind of like whose line is it anyway where the points really don't matter it's the people that matter you know but we do kind of keep a little data collection and we put it on dailydudes.com and you know if you're cruising reddit and you find someone interesting in the comments there's actually hani abu produced a little chrome extension that will show their deets score next to their name right on reddit for you so if you see somebody that's got a score that's say more than five to 10 that's somebody that's probably been around for a while and they've been mentioned you know five to 10 times so the team behind the podcast is really cool tricky troll is a user he goes through and awards all the daily dudes there's another gentleman named the hayward he manages the weekly dudes hani abu manages the website i curate the content that is used for like our show notes logri the bard is our technical interviewer and then ben is helping out on x he helps out on farcaster he helps gather in guests and helps with general feedback and whatnot and it's all and

39:59Speaker 4

the grant stuff which we can talk about

40:01Speaker 5

and the grant stuff so we have what six maybe seven team members that kind of regularly help out in the background and it's just kind of an all volunteer like crack team of people that are passionate about ethereum who wanna provide some kind of service that people can pop in their headphones and listen to we stream on x twitch linkedin and two different channels no one channel on youtube yeah two channels on x and then from there it goes out on spotify iheartradio and you know all

40:34Speaker 4

the pods

40:35Speaker 1

media pods media

40:37Speaker 5

and pods media

40:37Speaker 4

and pods media you for that plug yesterday yeah

40:39Speaker 5

we've been using pods media since the beginning honestly

40:44Speaker 1

i have a question i have a question about that because you guys are on optimism why did you choose optimism

40:49Speaker 5

i don't i've been trying to get over on base they've i've actually given them the creative control to being put us on base and as far as i know we're still on optimism

40:58Speaker 0

you're still on optimism so that

41:00Speaker 1

was the challenge i ran into setting up the reward i couldn't set it up directly so i had to do this like

41:06Speaker 0

because the degen rewards on base and i'm like and

41:09Speaker 1

i'm like and the other thing is i did get a couple of messages from people going what do i need in my wallet to mint this because they didn't have ope so there's a lot of people without a lot of almost everybody has base eth this is the difference and then like they don't have a lot of the other eth so just a suggestion just a suggestion but i am right now if you do mint the most recent recent daily do or i think it's the deutapiar one $1.16 if you mint that i am manually sending sending $4.20 degen to anyone who mints so

41:45Speaker 4

i got mine already so i'm gonna test

41:47Speaker 1

we did a couple so and i did have a couple other people like ping me like hey i'm trying to mint but i don't know how like what am i doing

41:53Speaker 4

actually had to do it in my like outside of the mini app

41:57Speaker 1

yes yeah

41:58Speaker 4

because no one's worth it

41:59Speaker 1

no one's gonna have op in their in their in their warp cast wallet in their warplet in their warplet

42:05Speaker 2

by the way network effects for all everything

42:08Speaker 4

yeah

42:09Speaker 2

yeah right like it's yeah everyone so

42:12Speaker 4

mhmm

42:12Speaker 2

i'm a little of a chaos agent so i'm like stay on op and everyone should fund their war blight with a little bit of yeah

42:19Speaker 4

make it work make it work

42:21Speaker 2

be everywhere

42:22Speaker 1

be everywhere but i do think yeah if you move to base you'll see a little bit more and it's you know it's not it may not be significant but there's opportunity there for a little bit more support and anyway just a thought

42:34Speaker 2

that's good to know i

42:34Speaker 5

have a

42:34Speaker 1

question about that you're on linkedin do you feel like you get a lot of engagement there

42:41Speaker 5

no just more spam dms

42:45Speaker 5

which hey i'll take any

42:47Speaker 4

he loves it

42:48Speaker 5

i'll take i'll take any attention i can get i mean i know they wanna lend me money i really appreciate that they think that i'm that important i really i i respect the spam love on on linkedin

43:01Speaker 2

are you saying you moved to linkedin then

43:03Speaker 1

like i said like

43:05Speaker 0

oh you're on linkedin i'm like i've never thought about streaming there and then i'm like maybe okay no yeah

43:12Speaker 1

do you

43:12Speaker 2

know we have a linkedin gm farcaster has a linkedin page though and so we could we could stream that

43:19Speaker 1

yeah we could do that

43:20Speaker 4

couple of farcaster projects use use linkedin i know jack was posting some jack dishman and oh god there were a couple others it might have been opsis

43:31Speaker 0

might have been samuel huber

43:33Speaker 1

i feel like he's everywhere like i think he hits every platform if i'm correct

43:39Speaker 5

for what it's worth i think this next bull run is gonna be the linkedin bull run though i mean and you might

43:45Speaker 1

be right

43:46Speaker 5

all the big black rocky ceo types out there are gonna be like hey i found out about this cool thing you know can you imagine what the memes on linkedin are gonna look like it's just gonna be suits and ties with the you know a bologna sandwich in the in the bear market eventually it's just gonna be light as shit

44:05Speaker 1

i know i'm just like i don't know if we can if we should go there and then i've thought about twitch as well twitch makes a little more sense to me than for for our audience but just thinking in terms of like where else we should be in terms of streaming so just thought i'd thought i'd ask that question while i had you there since you mentioned it

44:23Speaker 5

i think places like tweet twitch work best if you're there all if you're all the time every day kind of place you know mhmm

44:30Speaker 1

yeah yeah i feel like that still may not be a great place for us to grab audience i feel like we're in the right places right now but you know you always have to think about where else you should be and not cut things off so adrienne sorry i jumped in and and

44:47Speaker 0

i just had that linkedin question i had to do it

44:50Speaker 2

how long have you guys been doing the podcast cause i saw you're at over was it over a hundred two hundred episodes

44:55Speaker 5

we're hundred hundred and seventeen mostly weekly yeah thank you yeah we're we're real excited that we're able to get over two years we kinda blinked our eyes and it it just rushed by us you know it's it's neat yeah

45:12Speaker 2

yeah yeah it's fun

45:12Speaker 1

so about the same time as jamfarcaster a little bit before probably about six months before

45:17Speaker 5

mhmm

45:18Speaker 1

amazing and ben you mentioned grants i know you wanna talk a little bit about that as well so

45:26Speaker 4

sure and so we actually have some kind of crossover synergy you you all were sponsored until this episode you were sponsored by ogden we love ogden octon is actually the reason that i took over being the kind of grants manager of our our oh cool podcast of our project james and jt met at denver i i can't recall they i

45:49Speaker 5

got a i got a good james stories

45:52Speaker 4

i bet he does i bet he does it's like so jt has hosted barbecues the most recent one we actually funded at ethdenver and but anyways going back a while they they connected and he always had been in touch and said man you guys really gotta get involved in octant there's like there's a lot of funding there's a lot of great projects that you can support and so i took the reins and we did i don't know if you've had ever been in any of their block parties that they were doing last year

46:20Speaker 1

no haven't

46:21Speaker 4

been it was an effort to bring in a bunch of folks learn what it meant to procure and stake glm inside octant and then vote on the projects plug for octant i think their allocation window for epoch eight starts like now like very very soon

46:36Speaker 1

i think so yeah

46:38Speaker 4

which is really cool so anyways we brought in like 35 ev members ev mavericks members to one of these parties we all received and or bought more glm and staked it altogether well separately but at the same time and then we kind of all step through like supporting our you know donating to our project donating to other e mavericks members who have been in other epochs donating to whatever projects are in by the way if you're not if gm forecaster is not already a project on octon definitely get into one of the future epochs because it's very it's a great network and very rewarding so we were lucky enough to be i think in two epochs from octon to receive funding we were in a few different kinda like give it or get get coin rounds of receiving some funding and we've basically you know jt mentioned this was a labor of love we have not taken a lot of any payment at all up until very recently to produce the show we took a little bit of compensation we used it to also run our operational expenses and we've also like shelled a lot of it back out to the community and and paid for like journalism grant that someone went and covered eve prague last week so that that article just came out so we just we paid them out we funded the website development for rocket school which is was like a a sub project in the ev mavericks community where taught people how to use rocket pool in a very like user friendly format i mentioned the barbecue i think we did some other irl events and yeah we we kinda just like we received some funding and then we sent it right back out to to projects and and stuff that were close to us so that's been really rewarding i've learned a lot about grants i i've been adjacent to grants in like my real job but this allowed me to like sink my teeth in it's been a lot of fun and and rewarding and we've built up a very small modest treasury that we you know doled most of it back out but it's been really great

48:42Speaker 1

i love that i love that

48:44Speaker 4

my and i love public good spending like it's like that's something that's now really core to me

48:49Speaker 1

yeah i think it's so important to to find those projects that just need a little boost and see what we can do i think okton's been amazing with that and i'm really excited to see what they do next because they have a v two that's coming that's gonna be a broader platform for others to use loved what they did with with the farcaster round so we're yeah we're looking forward to to sharing more on those things when they when they happen and of course i've been grants grants are kind of kind of a thing for me to deal with if if you're if you're nouns if you're a nouns that's all you do yep is vote on things to be funded so been doing that for for quite a while and it's but it's you know there's a lot of systems that aren't great so it's good to see people continuing to iterate so i'm excited to see like the next the next version of octon's octon's grant program so very cool adrian what else did we for forget to ask about i know you had a bunch of things

49:53Speaker 2

just a question about ev mavericks and you're talking about you're saying we and i know it's a community is it a dao

50:01Speaker 5

always has been

50:02Speaker 0

yeah okay

50:03Speaker 5

yeah that that's actually a good that's a good question i'm gonna elaborate on that just a second there there was a bit of discussion about the royalty rewards that would go back to the creator of the nft because when it first got released it was like unlimited and on reddit we never as moderators so i'm a moderator on our ethereum and at the time eth finance we didn't realize those details ahead of time and community members were like hey we looked at the smart contract this is kind of like you know maybe a little better out of bounds because infinity rewards on an nft you can understand how that goes downhill because then other people are gonna be like oh i'm willing to i wanna launch one too using reddit karma and blah blah blah anyway so there was a big kind of to do about it and as moderators we didn't really want to arbitrate what the price should be so i was like hey these are nfts make the dao and let the dao decide and the dao decided the royalties would be one node and it was like it was genius right so it was all it was always a dao from the beginning even when it came to the royalty downstream rewards of the trading of the nft so yes it's a dao and it it was so much more than that in the beginning you know it's cool

51:25Speaker 1

do you guys use snapshot or what do you use for voting if you're voting on anything snapshot

51:31Speaker 4

we had used snapshot i think it's been a little while since our last vote but yeah yeah

51:35Speaker 5

yeah i just vote yes whenever ben says

51:37Speaker 0

i need to smart man

51:41Speaker 5

snapshot slingshot jockstrap i'll do it all let's go

51:45Speaker 0

whatever you got

51:46Speaker 5

whatever it is

51:48Speaker 2

this is great and i wonder so people listening if they like they should check out the podcast

51:54Speaker 4

yep fridays at 2pm eastern

51:57Speaker 2

fridays at 2pm eastern recordings everywhere

52:01Speaker 3

if they go

52:01Speaker 2

to go live

52:03Speaker 5

if they go to dailydudes.com/podcast they can subscribe on all the channels we really appreciate it

52:10Speaker 1

and we'll have all the links in the show notes as well so if you're looking for any of these links they will be in the show notes as soon as this is on all the platforms

52:18Speaker 5

thank you

52:19Speaker 2

there's a link from our mini app as well so if you go to the gm farcaster mini app and we'll keep that up for a while

52:25Speaker 4

did you show the did you show that on screen i don't know it looks so nice i took like a bunch of screenshots and sent it into the discord yeah

52:31Speaker 5

and we'd love the we'd love the gm farcaster crew to cross pollinate farcaster links inside the our ethereum daily general discussion that's where the dudes are from we we're not a podcast that just happened to belong a little bit to reddit we are reddit first we're we're not leaving damn it okay and so but we do get farcaster links in there in the daily discussion so if there's things on farcaster that are popping off you wanna bring a little bit of cross pollination i'm not sure either see farcaster links than xlinks any day so you guys are all welcome to come

53:06Speaker 4

i think jt glossed over it but we we made a move at the beginning of the new year back to the r ethereum we now have a sticky daily post that is the discussion the r you know the r ethereum daily discussion and that has kind of taken place of of the other subreddits that he mentioned

53:25Speaker 1

but yeah and then within there it's like just links to different what's going on

53:29Speaker 4

in the comments links yeah

53:32Speaker 1

yep very cool

53:33Speaker 5

chip posts memes whatever it's it's a it's a amazing troll box for lack of a better word but it's there's not a lot of trolls we have heavy moderation yeah our ethereum is like 3,000,000 members and it's always been this technical sub but during the bear markets you know a lot of people were kind of leaving and they needed new blood for moderators cause they weren't getting good moderation and so six of six of us came over from e finance we actually closed e finance we were doing fine on e finance but we wanted to be all in on our ethereum and we we set our e finance to private and so now you got the best of both worlds you got the main technical sub that's the business on the front page and the party in the back is in the daily general discussion we got the r ethereum mullet going

54:20Speaker 0

i love it the r ethereum mullet i love it i love it we need

54:24Speaker 2

is there a mini app yet that'll bring in reddit like subreddits and let us post links someone

54:32Speaker 1

someone should build we're gonna pop that

54:35Speaker 0

in someone should build

54:37Speaker 1

you

54:37Speaker 4

i think i i've been vibe coding but not to that level not i don't know maybe we could collaborate on that

54:43Speaker 2

what do you make ben what are you making

54:45Speaker 4

oh nothing little games and web pages no i've tried hooking into like base and other things and i just get stuck but i gotta keep at it

54:54Speaker 2

yeah

54:55Speaker 4

everyone's a builder now there there's no like the the barrier to entry is much lower i just need time and experimentation

55:02Speaker 1

that's okay

55:02Speaker 5

he's gonna like develop the flappy bird of crypto but it's gonna be benny bird he's gonna be a billionaire and all it does is all the benny bird does is it hops around and like shits out meme coins and we're all gonna be rude if

55:16Speaker 1

you're here for early think it's too late i think that already is

55:19Speaker 4

it's done i just put it down if i can plug an ev mavericks member who is active on farcaster and is a game developer in inside the simulation.eth oh yeah simulation okay it's been active in far cade which is now remix he's pumped out a bunch of awesome games and is just like a a great person to follow and is a zavive coder mini yeah

55:44Speaker 5

he was technical adviser when we were doing the rocket pool video series up here at the office

55:49Speaker 1

cool mhmm

55:50Speaker 5

yeah he's genius

55:51Speaker 2

oh cool and then that'll be inside the sim inside the sim.eth yep

55:56Speaker 5

yep

55:57Speaker 1

okay alright if she's wait she's following there you go

56:00Speaker 5

yeah that's a good following

56:02Speaker 0

after unfollowing of our

56:05Speaker 5

that's good

56:07Speaker 2

i love i love hearing the story of the lions because now yeah when i see a lion pfp it's like okay high signal just follow like my thoughts when you see it when you see when you

56:19Speaker 4

see a philosophical thought smart ev mavericks members like i i people ask me what's it all about or like who makes up the ev mavericks and i'm like well there's a lot of big brains listen to them there's some deep ends listen to them sometimes too and then like everything in between yes

56:35Speaker 1

i was already following

56:36Speaker 5

stem is a beast checked

56:37Speaker 1

i just double checked i was already following

56:39Speaker 4

there's so many i just remember talking about yeah

56:41Speaker 1

the other thing is i get confused though i'll see the i'll see the lion and i just think it's ben i always do side event thank you thank you estercrypto nice

56:51Speaker 5

you need to follow logri the bard is another big thinker he's our technical interviewer on the podcast

56:58Speaker 4

so big brain

56:59Speaker 5

yeah he asks all the smart questions so i don't have to and he's really he's deep into ai right now and doing he's doing crypto adjacent things with ai but at logary the bard he runs a website called tokenonlinksexplained.com yeah and he's a defi degen from way back

57:17Speaker 4

and deep in but so i don't know if he's on far faster often he's much more active on his website and on twitter but again just a very very interesting smart person to follow

57:28Speaker 1

very cool by the way and that little market report from yestocrypto also ethereum just went back over '28 so that's good

57:39Speaker 4

very nice

57:40Speaker 1

that's a good direction to go i love it when people are like yeah he went up and i'm like yeah as soon as it gets to like 4,800 let me know

57:46Speaker 4

yeah talk to me then

57:48Speaker 2

how and i don't know if you were gonna go in here but i'm how are what what are the updates and how are the vibes in the more ethereum community these days just generally any

58:00Speaker 5

we're we're the there's a mantra that i have you always make your best friends in the middle of the bear market market and that that's true a lot of familiar faces you know like i said there's over 1,200 people that have made it onto our dudes list we see a lot of those same faces every day so like there's this culture there that's nice and tight we get when we get market price action that's going berserkers either up or down we can get 500 to a thousand comments a day so it gets a little bit noisy but generally 200 to 300 comments per day easy enough to scroll through at you know when you're chilling out just wanna check-in and yeah the vibe is the vibe is positive we also encourage good critical discussion we identify the trolls we allow them a couple of strikes and then they're out especially if they're just you could tell they're from our butt coin or something like that i mean when you know you know right so it's a very tightly moderated sub we're not we're not too heavy handed but we do basically kind of kneel to the wishes of most people if they use the report button which we tell people like hey if we got personal attacks off ad hominins it's just not going to be fruitful it doesn't mean they're going to get a ban or anything i hate messing with bans but i'm not afraid to smash some spam down and just put yeah i mean it's like they can go make another reddit account if they're bad actors it's pretty good it's a well the daily is very well moderated the front page is the front page like i said is mostly all technical talk so a lot of stuff hits our auto moderator filters so we don't have just memes taken over memes are fun but the business of ethereum is much more important on the front page put the memes in the daily it's it's really nice like i said that's where the the mullet comes in

59:53Speaker 1

i feel like you know there's yeah there's still a lot of folks who are on reddit in the ethereum community in in the our ethereum but also like things like eatstaker and that still have really strong presences there that really haven't fully moved to other platforms like they do things on other platforms but that's still their home

60:12Speaker 5

there's and

60:13Speaker 1

it's yeah it just is what it is

60:15Speaker 5

it's undeniable without putting i'm not going to put lipstick on a pig either i would say reddit is down over 50% from like six years ago

60:24Speaker 1

yeah yeah

60:25Speaker 5

and then and the reason i think the biggest number one reason is when they pulled their a p i and third parties couldn't develop apps that people liked and they forced everybody into the main reddit app that's really what killed it off for a lot of folks plus there was a value proposition for folks like anthony susano dc investor and bankless to get out of the bubble and go you know talk about it on other platforms because we kind of already know so you know we we lost some of the bigger content creators understandably because it's just more monetarily advantageous to grow your numbers specifically and and sec and i'm not i mean i'm gonna throw the other moderators under the bus just a little bit there's about three guys that were on the moderating team on r ethereum that were doing the lion's share of the work and for quite a while the main subreddit was really like unusable for a lot of people they just left and that's a real damn shame right like

61:34Speaker 2

i'm

61:34Speaker 5

not gonna slight you know vatalik i'm not expecting him to be a moderator or some of the other ethereum founders that were on the sidebar but if you're not moderating that place having your name over there isn't doing anybody any good so i consider myself kind of the charlie brown of crypto and i'm a really good trash man and that's it so i think once you clear out the clutter it's a great place to come back to now and there's a fostered sense of culture there that the moderators don't have to lead the culture the culture leads the culture that's what the ev mavericks have done a great job the expectation is to come into the room and talk to each other like you're doing with us right here you'll have to drop f bombs to make your point you know like we understand like there's there's problems at the ef we don't need to be reminded 12 times over the last two years like things are happening now so let's get back on track get the conversation out of these other areas out there and really double down and build this shit that's what we wanna do and that's what we're doing i feel like the reddit culture i think it's a safe place to come home to

62:44Speaker 0

love that i love that

62:45Speaker 1

it feels very and that feels very far castry too like we're

62:49Speaker 4

yeah similar ethos

62:50Speaker 1

like different yeah like and the culture tends to monitor itself most of the time the other thing that you mentioned though was they took away the apis and you know that's the forecaster selling point right that you can build and you're not gonna get rugged because you you're on a protocol that's permissionless etcetera etcetera so i think you know we see that a lot we saw that with twitter where they pulled apis or started charging exorbitant things and people

63:19Speaker 4

or banning or or deplatforming people

63:22Speaker 1

and that's been happening a lot with crypto people lately which is crazy

63:27Speaker 4

there in the last two weeks has been like some large names coming over and finding of like a great home for their content and collaboration so

63:35Speaker 1

i felt like in the last couple of weeks we have not been deep platform but we're definitely our reach has been limited and i'm like is it the word far faster interesting

63:48Speaker 3

your your

63:49Speaker 4

ex account

63:49Speaker 5

you're saying

63:50Speaker 4

yes yes

63:50Speaker 1

on twitter yeah

63:52Speaker 2

we all stream

63:53Speaker 1

call it ex by the way

63:55Speaker 0

we'll always call it twitter

63:57Speaker 4

i know i know

63:58Speaker 1

like that thanks yeah amazing though adrianne what else did we i know we got a we're at the end of our time a little bit over anything else that you want to touch on before we wrap up

64:12Speaker 2

no unless we missed anything ben or jt i think we covered it at all i loved hearing this your just just the background and jt your explanation of how reddit works because we live i live in farcaster world it's i don't there's only one of me and that's where i

64:27Speaker 4

choose to hang out so it's hard to

64:29Speaker 5

be active on beautiful place

64:31Speaker 2

it's hard to be active on other places but when we were doing channels like we tried so hard to turn those into subreddits and communities yeah and i'm just reminded of like it's not enough to just kind of build a technical thing how much work goes into

64:46Speaker 4

yeah follow through yeah

64:48Speaker 2

yes and like the community work

64:50Speaker 1

and curating curating culture and and and it's not just like a one

64:54Speaker 2

and done like it's like you can have a really strong community with good you know and then you have to keep doing it every day

65:01Speaker 4

every day

65:02Speaker 2

so every day it's like tending a garden and it's it's it's hard work and it's i have a lot of appreciation for it so

65:10Speaker 1

so the mod the moderator's doing the weeding we appreciate you oh yeah

65:14Speaker 5

i was gonna say like if there our ethereum is just a big bonsai tree and some days it can just be nothing but dandelions but but you know what

65:24Speaker 2

also beautiful also beautiful kids

65:26Speaker 5

we got to yeah we gotta we gotta protect the reddit boomers they they are people too

65:32Speaker 0

they're people too

65:33Speaker 5

there are people that you know when we made the split from eth finance back to our ethereum it upset a lot of people when we split from eth trader that upset a lot of people but it's like there is a core value to reddit and you know i always i have the acronym merge make ethereum reddit genuinely excellent and that's that's that's our motto that's my motto that's what i wake up to every day and do pushups and say to myself you can be a reddit moderator for the masses your mom will be proud of you

66:08Speaker 1

and your mom will be very proud

66:09Speaker 0

i am certain of that

66:11Speaker 5

i gotta head out my my wife is jerking

66:13Speaker 1

thank you jt yeah i know we're going to roll out thank you

66:17Speaker 5

no you're good

66:18Speaker 2

66:20Speaker 4

66:20Speaker 1

66:34Speaker 1

66:35Speaker 0

66:37Speaker 2

66:39Speaker 1

67:46Speaker 2

thank you no thank you to streamyard although the last like the interview was good so the

67:52Speaker 1

interview was fine so i closed out all that's why i didn't share i had some links about about ev mavericks we're just gonna put them all i was gonna show them on the screen i'm like you know what i'm not going to because this is going well let's not mess it up so there you go so but they will be in the show notes so if you are looking for the links to their reddit to their newsletter to their podcast all the things we just talked about all those links will be available in our show notes and we'll have those out later today so thank you all we've really really enjoyed this this has been a lot of fun it's been great to hang in it's great to like chat with somebody that you feel like you know online very well like ben like i feel like we see him in our feed all the time you know in just normal interactions so it's kinda it's that was really fun to be able to get to see him and yeah yeah alright well

68:50Speaker 1
