yeah exactly

0:02Speaker 1

yeah exactly gm you ready i keep having i keep hearing like the addams family in my head might just be me but yeah because we're gonna talk a lot about snaps today and if you don't know what snaps are we're gonna tell you in just a little bit and we're gonna have grin here from the neynar slash farcaster team talking about snaps i don't know if that name is a full time name or if it's just like what we're calling it today but that's what we're calling it today

0:36Speaker 0

so there's no such thing as full time anything nothing is permanent

0:40Speaker 1

yeah gm snaps yeah gm snaps nothing is permanent everything is temporary and here we go and then we have limone coming by to talk about farcon so yeah i know oh did we mess you up sorry we didn't mean to mess you up by starting on time yes to crypto we started exactly on time today i know it's pretty easy

1:04Speaker 0

and we promise we won't end

1:05Speaker 1

on time so guarantee we will not

1:07Speaker 0

you're good

1:08Speaker 1

yeah we've got two guests today and mostly we only have to talk about snaps and some we have some builder stuff but it's yeah it's all it's all snaps all the time it's very exciting yeah so we should just like let's dive in if you are watching over on twitter slash x give us a retweet if you're watching over youtube or in the far gm farcaster mini app go give a cast let people know that you are watching send them over here and we are gonna get this party started i just noticed there's something new in the navigation on the right hand side and i'm like what's a widget i got distracted for a minute i'm like oh widgets i don't know what those are but okay oh the qr codes are in the widget oh polls that's right we can do a poll now oh we may have to do a poll alright we have to we have to experiment but before that let's let's get this party started we'll be back on the other side of this forty one seconds

2:19Speaker 1

welcome to gm farcaster bringing you everything from breaking news to spicy memes to the deep lore shaping this vibrant digital community more than just a show gm farcaster is your digital third space where the community connects the stories unfold and the culture thrives whether you're a daily caster or just dropping by we've got the latest buzz to keep you plugged in so grab your coffee and let's dive in with your hosts nanis proff and adrienne for another episode of gm farcaster

2:57Speaker 1

gm farcaster it is friday april 10 and you are here with adriana nadesh proff for twenty nine minutes of farcaster news to start your day not exactly today today's gonna be a little different we're going to have a grin popping in in just about ten minutes and then followed by a limone and then we'll circle back to some news so it's going to be a mishmash today because we have two guests i'm just also tweeting and such and letting people know we are live adrienne i'm really excited to talk snaps this is going to be a lot of fun

3:40Speaker 1

there we go now i can say we're live

3:47Speaker 1

because they're really fun it's bringing another new little energy to the to the place so very exciting before that i wanted to just chat about this and fill you in on my class the other day so i'm back to teaching for a couple more weeks and this was week four we started with some law around law and regulations the fun stuff and then while we were talking the week before i got them set up on rainbow and they had to make some decisions around perps and predictions because i fund them some wallets they have about $20 worth of eth they have to do some swapping into usdc learn how to swap all those kinds of things and then they had to allocate $5 to predictions dollars 5 to perps and make some decisions there so while we're in class

4:41Speaker 1

we start looking at their predictions and one of them involved a ceasefire during class and all of a sudden it started to jump up straight up

4:52Speaker 0

like live

4:54Speaker 1

in class like while class is going on like i just looked at this earlier today and it was up a little bit but now it's really starting to spike and and then someone else had that was in predictions in polymarket and then someone else had a long on for oil and started to see that go down and start to lose there and i was like okay let me explain something now it's time to explain to you what happens when people who actually know what's going on start putting bets in on these things putting purpose in prediction markets so that was wild to watch that live and then also have to explain hey look at the rules on any predictions because you might want to just get out before it fully resolves because there's a chance that it says two parties must agree mhmm so this ceasefire and never know what's gonna happen with that part but it was wild it was wild to like see that all go down in real time and to have them be able to actually experiment with it has been really fun and see how they you know think about this and yeah yeah so it's been so that was wild that was wild to see that all going down live

6:18Speaker 1

yeah it's been it's been fun it's been fun this semester getting them in polymarket we launched a token in class it's been it's been interesting alright moving on this from you farcaster acquisition is completed snaps launched clanker ecosystem fund announced farcaster agenic boot camp happening farhiac started farcon less than a month away getting more cold inbound to my gm farcaster inbox we're getting more people who wanna come on the show we're like scrambling to fit everybody in the change in energy around here is not subtle nice use of your word a day

6:59Speaker 1

lot happening there's been a lot going on so that is one of the bigger things with the farcaster acquisition has been pending since december they started having these conversations in december it's finally closed so it took a long time and it sucked a lot of energy out of the ecosystem that hopefully now is returning so glad to see all this done i think one of and i didn't pull this cast but one of the things that rish mentioned or some or it was i think it was actually a snap that talked about the acquisition was the farcaster treasury and the clanker treasury was not part of the deal so we're starting you know they're starting back at zero

7:45Speaker 2

so

7:46Speaker 0

which was news to a lot of people yeah

7:49Speaker 1

it was not news to us because we were aware but some people were not aware yeah

7:54Speaker 0

and because we know math but mhmm

7:58Speaker 1

that's they're sad too but yeah so when we're taught like the clancor ecosystem fund right now there's no funds in it or very little because it's just like whatever since they closed it so the couple days so so just like i think setting some expectations around that and on monday we'll have rish on here to talk specifically about the clanker ecosystem fund what that is what that's gonna look like how it's gonna work and all those fun things so yeah we're gonna be jumping into all of this stuff as we go on today also the far con the far hack and agenic boot camp we'll be talking with lamone about in just a little bit

8:46Speaker 1

clank clank moving on this was interesting to see i have no idea who i rule trenches is over on twitter but they've been talking a lot about clanker and there was a couple tweets that i wanted to highlight this was one this was from miyamoto this huge huge announcement from neynar and clanker world has been flying under the radar i'm starting to rebuild a heavy position in clanker d n f a d y o r the og launchpad on fat on base alongside virtuals it played a key role in shaping base's on chain market and kick starting its early momentum with nayanar acquiring clanker and farcaster and steering a new direction i think the protocol is finally back on the right path aiming to reclaim reclaim lost market share and push far beyond it the launch of the cef clanker ecosystem fund is a strong first step redirecting value back into the ecosystem supporting builders and attracting new launches what stands out consistent anti fragility the team kept building through all conditions 8,000,000 plus spent on buybacks 14% of supply while others were dumping now shifting toward smarter capital allocation infra and ecosystem growth the cef's mission is clear well we really haven't fully discussed it yet but okay okay root protocol fees back to creators and communities actively contributing to clanker and far gazzeter i mean it's clear but no

10:20Speaker 0

it's clear

10:21Speaker 1

i mean

10:21Speaker 0

i think that's clear you know details implementation details how it works but the intent yeah i mean like the you know the overall intent of

10:29Speaker 1

the intent is clear

10:30Speaker 0

system fun is clear it's

10:32Speaker 1

it's very clear these more than anything signals intent nayanar is going all in to reposition clanker world as a de facto launchpad on base so yeah i i you know no lies there but i don't know who you are but good explanation and then you are and then also miyamoto talks a little bit about qr later on we're gonna get to that when we talk about builders

11:02Speaker 1

i'm gonna jump ahead a little bit to

11:08Speaker 1

something that i was going to talk about towards the end but i think i'm going to jump ahead to this and talk about we're basically having a snapathon this weekend in various locations around the us i don't know anywhere else outside the us i haven't heard anything yet in terms of like meetups i don't think so

11:32Speaker 0

confirmed ones but there may be

11:34Speaker 1

there might be there might be but we've got this from dilstack come build snaps with us this saturday in nyc and we're going to talk about what snaps are in just a moment great opportunity both to see community members to try something new out and for anyone to be able to ship something so very cool and you're going to be there is that correct you're going to be heading heading to that one and rish i think is going to that one as well if i

12:00Speaker 0

he's stopping by i think towards the latter half

12:04Speaker 1

alright awesome this from nikki sapp san diego is gonna be hosting a little something so if you're in san diego contact nikki sapp whether you live in the county or want to visit and meet with other local fc folks reply or dc for access so we have that we also have this i believe is in boston i don't think it says boston but genuine jack is in boston i believe so planning an official event with farcaster for this upcoming saturday hangs and hackathon around the new redacted now we know snaps product dropped this week and if you're available or want to participate please reply here or shoot me a d c so yeah based on who's listed there i believe that's boston

12:50Speaker 0

jack

12:52Speaker 1

boston oh it's there it is there it is the indicator i didn't even notice i just knew genuine jack was from boston that was the only that was my indicator this from alina ferri we shared this one the other day if you're in la you're gonna wanna head to noun so so attention la this is not a drill drum roll we're hosting a community get together and mini build a thon to test out a new farcaster feature that's saturday tomorrow at noun coffee and wine in mdr and then last but not least we have san francisco pulling up with a snapathon if you will that's what we're calling it now grin we're calling it snapathons grin just popped into our studio so we're gonna pull them up in just a second san francisco people we're hosting a farcaster meetup this friday so that's tonight at the frontier tower starting at 5pm we'll let pizza hut builders come by and meet people and you can find all of these events in this cute little snap by the farcaster intern that has links to all the different ones so you can go check that out so very cool we've got boston san diego la san francisco new york city if anyone else is doing other meetups or wants to do them just just do it it's permissionless just do it go right ahead nobody's nobody's stopping you just do it alright i wanna bring grin up let me just reset one little thing i'm going to close a little snapathon

14:40Speaker 1

because we are going to talk snaps but let me just share the first announcement we had on snaps was from rish i believe hold on and everything's moving slowly one second come on come on

15:00Speaker 1

oh that was that hold on

15:04Speaker 1

actually let me just do this one i'll do this one from the farcaster intern that shared what snaps are a little bit come on load for me don't worry it's not farcaster it's me all right introducing snaps a new primitive for the feed buttons sliders inputs toggles charts grids images polls games transactions all live and interactive inside a cast easy to build powerful to use explore what's possible with snaps and this little snap itself gives you a look at what exactly is involved with the snap it gives you the body size the defaults for paragraphs images etc the different types of buttons that you can have forms you can actually add in a little form we have submission buttons as well different buttons here that you can add here

16:09Speaker 2

i'm

16:09Speaker 1

going to rate this snap low just kidding and it'll you can then see the data visualization as well there's so many features to this it's kind of crazy how many things are are available here let me continue on to actions we've got all different kinds of actions you can do submit post open a url open a mini app view cast view profile compose a cast view token send token swap token and then also celebrate which i don't know if it'll work oh it worked this time yeah yeah yeah and we have confetti so more confetti doesn't work though but only the only the first confetti so let me bring up gren who is going to dive in a little bit more on snaps with us welcome gwen it's so nice to have you here

17:06Speaker 2

hey yeah thanks for having me on

17:09Speaker 1

thanks for being here so talk about like where this idea came from what how did the team decide to move this into production and what you've been sort of testing out in the background while while we've been while we've been talking about this redacted thing

17:30Speaker 3

in some ways snaps is something we've

17:32Speaker 2

been thinking about for a long time possibly even before i joined nayanar there's this idea floating around it's not like unique to us or we're we're the first or anything but there every social network has something special with it that's uniquely enabled by the technology that was available when it was starting like instagram is big because cell phones have cameras without cell phone cameras instagram doesn't really work and tiktok is big because cell phones got good enough to shoot video and like there's enough bandwidth and you can just do it and the algorithms got good enough and so there's nothing like that yet for ai there's no like cool new social network that is like you need maybe maybe boldbook but i don't use i don't human it's not for humans

18:21Speaker 1

not for humans

18:22Speaker 2

but there's something cool about being able to create these apps that work in the feed like really easily with ai just like code up a cool experience so that's like one idea another idea of course is like frames frames is a lot of fun people really liked it and just like all these ideas have been bubbling around we've been talking about it and then we had the team on-site a few weeks ago we were all talking about this idea and like finally it was coming together it was taking shape and then after the on-site we just like had this crazy like nonstop sprint to ship the first version of this and yeah we wanted something that was simple enough that people can play with it they can make something cool really quickly but also not so constrained that there's only like three or four things you can do with it and that's kinda how frames came together

19:15Speaker 1

not frames snaps

19:19Speaker 1

but that kind of speaks to like we went from frames and for those who weren't here at that time it was more it was a like very simple version of what we call mini apps but you can only do a couple things this feels like it's in between snaps feels like it's in between frames and mini apps would you say that's true or how would you characterize

19:42Speaker 2

i think of them as a different kind of application like you you know how with with pictures you have like jpeg and png and gif or whatever so then you have applications you have mini apps you have snaps snaps are another kind of application that you could embed into a cast like you can embed images into a cast you can embed snaps into a cast

20:02Speaker 1

so adrian you've already created a couple snaps so what did you think of the process of creating

20:10Speaker 0

i i cannot stress enough how easy it was and i don't know

20:17Speaker 0

it was like a one shot one shot prompt

20:22Speaker 1

and your

20:22Speaker 0

what is the server it's on grend it's a is it hono or something what is is it

20:27Speaker 2

that's the server that sets it up and we did a lot of work in the background to make it like we handle as much as possible and then when you create it you just create like the logic for it

20:37Speaker 0

like i've never heard of that before i was not familiar with that so like in the but i didn't need to learn it it was like really i was like okay and then so it was like pass claude your skill claude was also really good at coming up with ideas for like okay here's the primitive what can i make with it and i kinda fed in these are things i like but it was it it's really easy to to make them

21:02Speaker 2

i hope they keep getting easier i saw you cass with something like oh it took me i don't know twenty minutes to make this happen

21:09Speaker 0

i want

21:09Speaker 3

it to take twenty seconds like that's what the

21:11Speaker 0

alright so rich from like i i know he's been kinda talking about app like apps as content like or or software as content and then i i don't even think that wasn't rich but a lot of people have been talking about kind of software as a content type so i imagine this is kind of the manifestation of that vision of like oh come to farcaster and kind of the special content are apps or it's like kind of software i made a joke i think it was rabinowitz who said that they made a snap in fifteen minutes they did yeah funny because people were asking like is that long or short and it's like no one has any memory how long it used to take to make apps like that is short from from like never having heard of a spec until like it takes that long just to like i don't know just like click the buttons it's not like anyway so yeah that was short so i re i quote casa and said it took me twenty minutes and it was kind of like a self deprecating joke that i'm not as smart but like it what it didn't mean mean anything and rich was in my dms like what what what went wrong

22:15Speaker 1

why did

22:15Speaker 0

we do better why did it take that long and i was like i actually didn't take that long and most of the the actual half of that time cutting was just me iterating on like the ui like oh actually i was doing a free compliment one and i had i wanted to add additional compliments because it kept giving me the same one i'm like so no i am sorry twenty minutes was too long for you guys

22:37Speaker 1

well it's both

22:37Speaker 2

but i think it's both very quick and i think could be much faster like i bought i want it to be like taking a photo like taking a photo and attaching it like that quick

22:47Speaker 0

and grin frames v one the only way it rendered were images right like your ui was you had to provide a an image and is that and then there were kind of buttons that you could associate and they were really heavy like it or it felt heavy when you were using them because images had to render i imagine because this is ui elements and a lot of text it's and kind of more html it's gonna run is that why they feel snappy snappier

23:16Speaker 2

yes is

23:17Speaker 0

that why they feel better in the feed

23:20Speaker 2

we learned a lot from what was hard about frames you go on which was this like it's only an image it's using these html headers to communicate whereas the technology has improved a lot since then and the output of snaps is this thing called json render it's it's just json so it's just text it's like a smaller version of html maybe like a very simple version but it's it's really json and it's cool because you can get ais to generate these things very easily so today we're seeing snaps that are like it's known upfront what all the pages look like but something i wanted to make this morning i haven't had time is you can you can make the uis on the fly like they can be in a ui that you've never seen before that comes out of a snap that was created by an llm

24:08Speaker 0

how long has json render been around

24:11Speaker 2

it's pretty new vercel has been pushing it for the last four to six months maybe

24:15Speaker 0

okay do you know anyone using it like is it or i guess it's brand new right so the i and is the idea like these are like it's a kind of llm native language or it's lighter than html

24:28Speaker 2

if you're talking to an llm and it like creates this ui for you on the fly that's what json render is meant for oh

24:34Speaker 0

okay so it's meant to be kind of text based rendering now that when i see the llms give diagrams and things

24:40Speaker 2

yeah and you give it a catalog of like this is what's available this is how to use all these things what they might be used for and the lm is like oh yeah sure bar chart we want a bar chart and then the styling is all taken care of by someone else which is us in this case

24:53Speaker 0

right very cool and there

24:56Speaker 1

are certain limitations on like color and things like that that you guys have set for the snaps so what can you talk a little bit about like what were those choices and why for folks who maybe don't understand like what the different elements

25:13Speaker 0

why there's more than purple yeah

25:16Speaker 2

why clearly a mistake we're getting rid of

25:19Speaker 0

the numbers

25:19Speaker 2

we're actually we're already on version two we shipped version two last night

25:23Speaker 1

yeah that's right actually yeah

25:25Speaker 2

so the there's two i think big reasons to have these constraints one is that it's it looks more more coherent in the feed like when you look at a bunch of different things in the feed it can easily be too much whereas if we just say here's a couple colors you can use we we even just use names for colors like we might change what the actual colors look like to make them look more coherent that's simpler and then the second reason is that it's much easier to add than to take away especially because this is a bit of a protocol people rely on it when they make apps they want them to continue to work and it and we're moving pretty fast on it because we wanna figure out what is working and what people like so it's much easier to start with less and add than it is to start with a big open thing and then realize that all this stuff doesn't really work and it looks discordant on the fee and we wanna get rid of it and but people already wanna use it

26:22Speaker 1

and then in terms of what the updates were last night just pulling up that cast most of that was it seemed visual like the way it looked the look and feel within the feed is what i took from a lot of this but you may have some other points here so this is from marish new client updates better visual separation to clearly encase snaps in a cast latest snap spec requires fitting it fitting in a certain height older snaps are fine and still work see video if building a new snap nothing additional needed the skill is already updated to build with the right spec docs have a page now on how to upgrade your snap but it's not required feel free to reply with any questions also taking ideas on what to add to snaps next one thing i noticed last night was some of the renders were getting weird and funky and huge and i think that was while the change was being you know when the upgrades were going in but it seems like it's all adjusted now so

27:30Speaker 2

it's mostly adjusted but if i just spoke these bugs i actually just cast this morning i want to know about them so drop them in the in the replies for my cast and i'm working today on fixing the last remaining things

27:41Speaker 1

okay great i did see a couple things but i think they've fixed now so that must have been while i was switching over yeah

27:49Speaker 2

the main switch over is look and feel it's things we actually wanted to do originally but didn't get to before we released it but yeah it is like some of them were too long some of them were just like had a lot of stuff going on and we're gonna keep tweaking this to make it look good and there were a few under the hood changes to make it easier for us to keep making upgrades to make it more secure and our goal with this stuff is to make it as easy as possible for people to stay on top of this using llms again like there's there's instructions for you you could just be like use the scale and upgrade my snap to the latest version and it'll handle it

28:27Speaker 1

oh that would be good yeah that would make it make it easy

28:33Speaker 1

adrian what other questions do you have for gorin so looking for his cast from today

28:39Speaker 0

grin just for more of like the going back to the technical stuff because i find this really interesting to understand so the way i understand it is from like a forecast or protocols perspective if you look at like the what makes up a cast i'm sending just a url so it's an embed as just a url it's what's in whatever i'm hosting the client whatever it's receiving right from that link to knows how to render it because it's coming back using this json render so other clients can implement this can implement it have and they oh right and they can and they can chew they can change the ui a little bit it's like oh the buttons that are coming back i don't want rounded corners i want square corners oh this turquoise button i'm actually gonna make turquoise you know navy whatever so it's like the the the ui can change but all the elements are the same

29:28Speaker 2

and it's not the start of other clients like other clients have slightly different colors but the the snaps can still look good in however they present it

29:39Speaker 1

so this was snaps are live on duke audio that is nikki sapp's new client so i know it's already available there and i haven't checked other clients to see how they're rendering have you gone through to see what they look like at all and how is everything sort of flowing

30:00Speaker 2

i have not i've looked at these screenshots and they look good to me and i've been talking with nikki i'm sure that if something was broken he'd let me know he actually has sent me some feedback that made its way into the update last night

30:11Speaker 1

oh cool

30:13Speaker 2

so yeah we're we're we want this stuff to be simple we release components where it's like just put this component into your code and it will render it but yeah like adrian was saying if you want something more custom it's totally available snapster they lean a lot on the http spec like they use http headers they return json they have content negotiation a lot of this stuff is very hopefully easy to integrate

30:38Speaker 1

alright cool

30:41Speaker 0

and today it's what i'm saying and today you have to build snaps by deploying them yourself and i know you can deploy them to neymar host super easily the idea is eventually prompting from ui

30:55Speaker 1

yeah

30:55Speaker 2

i think that's i would get to twenty seconds

30:57Speaker 1

yeah ask for me

30:59Speaker 3

i wanted to

30:59Speaker 2

be in the cast i want a snap button you press the snap button same

31:02Speaker 1

with the button

31:03Speaker 2

you're like making this snap boom

31:06Speaker 1

that would be awesome yeah i'm still struggling a little bit to get my snap done but i realized it was because the what i was trying to do really wasn't part of the parameters so i just need to adjust how i'm i'm doing that or just come up with a different idea which might be more likely and we did have this from the farcaster intern we're continuing to improve snaps based on dev and user feedback most updates won't be noticeable but some improvements might break already created snaps see rich's cast below for how to easily fix them keep tagging me in feedback and also you can tag grin too if you find some bugs it's super helpful so i can surface everything to the team i'll also be setting up a group chat for folks who want to be involved in giving detailed feedback testing reply below if you wanna be part of that group so that was from the farcaster intern and then this was your cast this morning snaps ui bug bash in progress reply with any rendering or ui issues related to snaps or embeds examples anything too wide or narrow or overflowing their boundaries or overlapping stuff images too wide or narrow or huge wonky layouts make sure to say if you're seeing this on web or mobile or both alrighty so that's awesome if you guys are seeing issues you know who to tag i wanted to look through some of the snaps we've showed adrianne's free compliment one which is by the way this was the backhanded one for someone who wings everything you do okay is what i got you can get another one and then you can share it you have great energy in small doses i think i got that one before all correct by the way and then you can share it which i there at first some of the sharing wasn't working quite right this one is now but i noticed that a few times with the links something was getting funky where it was taking you outside to vercel but it seems to all be i haven't seen that issue for a bit

33:11Speaker 0

so since you're not logged out maybe that was updated in the skill but the maybe when i asked when you when it was like share it just shared the url it didn't add it to the embed collection

33:23Speaker 2

mhmm

33:23Speaker 0

so i later prompted it too because i but i don't know if that's been updated

33:29Speaker 1

yeah it was something yeah and it was something i was like you you needed to put like a like a little space after the link and then it embedded it was something weird yeah

33:38Speaker 0

it's the forecaster client doing the embed for you

33:41Speaker 1

yeah so it worked it then it worked this was from i don't know if this was from your berserker or he might have just shared it there yeah this was the i think this was someone else's

33:55Speaker 1

this was a snap was this the snap one oh maybe this was something else this wasn't the snap and snatch yeah it is the snap and snatch one where it's like a yoink i love this one i think this is really fun and we get the little confetti so love that love it now it's mine you can watch your snap it's i was just surprised at how many things you could do in this tiny little thing so that was pretty cool and then you can also oh it's by floor thank you give a snap as well you can give you can snatch it there you go i've only given twice but pretty cool and then it had the hall of fame that's where i was on that one the most snapped etcetera got a little leaderboard so pretty cool i love this one so good job flor flor had a couple in there cashless man had one that i really liked and this is what i was trying to emulate in a different way it gave me an inspiration but i just haven't been able to figure it out yet and this was the follow me on x so it opens up if you share it you share yours it'll open up your your profile over there and a follow so a little follow button which i don't think i'm following cashless minh now i am so that was pretty cool i liked that one and then this one from sayangel i think most of us have been slightly obsessed with but he might he might have been the one who broke some things though this is the snap snapagotchi and everyone gets to help with it which is kind of fun you can check on the snapagotchi and you can feed it clean it rest it or play it looks like it's full on all things but let me try feeding it there's so many great caretakers

35:51Speaker 2

on farcaster

35:52Speaker 1

i know it's been it's been really well taken care of so now i think he wants to pvp it now so that oop the leaderboard didn't work okay we got a little error do you see that error invalid snap page root element page exceeds maximum of seven children i don't know what that any of that means bound 13 cool

36:17Speaker 2

i got it

36:19Speaker 1

but this was really fun i think he wants to make a p v p where some people are trying to kill the snap megachi and others are trying to save it i think was the plan next so that's pretty funny with the little warplet that was really cute and then we had this from from darko but it's from his bot which is runner b o seven which is really funny and it's a little game where you're trying to get to the top let me see if it and it's literally just a little runner game and you can crash out i'll see if i can make it crash out oh it didn't work yep there we go i crashed out so if you hit a crash out it ends but you can if you make it to that purple square then you win so just a fun little fun little game but his bot is what created it his ai agent created it so that is who runner b o seven is and then we had some old school return to the return to the old school farcastles is back but in oh this isn't the farcastles one this is something else but it's similar so this one you can steal the pot or you can contribute gold to it i blew up the pot at one point i'm like i was pressing buttons i don't know so you can steal the pot and you can either steal it or it blows up oh i got away with it i got away with it that time cool so very fun and there's also a farcastles one as well so there's a whole bunch in the snaps channel and they're really fun so go check them out there's a whole bunch oh yeah anamale has a cool one where you can you can build a little world so go check these out oh framedel that's right we got a framedel in there now by the way this framedel i got in one because it was literally my starter word so there you go if you know what my starter award is but these have been really fun have you seen any others that you've really liked that were cool i love a lot of

38:31Speaker 2

the creativity that's coming out of this that's a sign to me that i think we did something well that even though it's simple people are using it somebody put doom in a frame in a yes which is kinda wild but yeah there's been a bunch of really fun ones and i hope it's just the beginning

38:49Speaker 1

i think it's just the beginning i think we're gonna see a lot of over the weekend i'm sure people will take this to the next level adrienne i forgot to show yours the other one the gm farcaster one was really cool you can find like a random cast that we've shared on the show or you can make sure you're a superfan and following us in all the places that's right so i was like brilliant it was brilliant

39:14Speaker 0

alright they're really fun it does they're really fun to make because they're i've done three now and because they're kind of easy and i just realized i need to make one for word a day you can get the

39:25Speaker 2

third one

39:26Speaker 0

the the button click has the forecaster id on it like you know who's clicking a button yes so professor i'm gonna make it so you can see the word of the day in a snap and accept the daily challenge through a snap so you don't have to oh cool god forbid you have to open a mini app and get and get slightly taken out of your feet like that's too much now so that'll be coming later today

39:47Speaker 1

oh that's really cool i like that

39:49Speaker 0

i

39:49Speaker 1

mean what third one

39:51Speaker 0

oh the blackjack one

39:52Speaker 1

that's right i forgot about that

39:54Speaker 0

one

39:54Speaker 1

yeah very cool alright anything else for gren before we let him go and bring up limone

40:01Speaker 0

can unless limone and grenette beef can we get all four of us on screens can we get all four

40:06Speaker 1

we need to get all four

40:07Speaker 0

of us torch i know

40:11Speaker 3

my hands

40:12Speaker 0

are missing i can't

40:13Speaker 3

i know your hands are missing

40:16Speaker 1

actually that's true we do want grin before you leave what advice as the first host cohost of farcon way back in the day for the farcon farcon the beta in boston what advice do you have for lamone leading up in the last three weeks or so leading up to farcon

40:40Speaker 2

i think he's doing great i think we we've chatted a number of times about farcon and i think that limone is actually like the perfect person and and his crew is the perfect crew to run this farcon i think every farcon so far and in hope including this one has done a really good job of capturing like that moment in farcaster and i think this like very builder focused very like we're we're gonna make a bunch of cool stuff i've ex i've never been to italy i'm pumped to go and pumped to see the colosseum and like all the cool stuff i i think it's great like my advice is just keep do keep doing what you're doing

41:19Speaker 1

i'm excited to see you

41:20Speaker 3

so much for your support as always

41:24Speaker 1

corinne have you been to all is it have you been to all the farcons you've been to all of them alright yeah good okay chuck i gotta get you send

41:31Speaker 0

us your jacket size we're making four peater four peater jackets

41:36Speaker 2

oh yeah that's sweet

41:37Speaker 1

a little something for the four peaters yeah we're not gonna do jackets jackets are for five but yeah we're gonna do something for the four peters there's there's only a handful of us but we gotta we gotta recognize we gotta recognize for sure

41:53Speaker 3

yeah yeah i i don't know if i told you already i think i was discussing this with some of you but it would be great if we can get all of you on on stage in the morning of the summit just to share you know all all your experience in in previous as well

42:09Speaker 1

i love it i love it that'll be fun okay

42:13Speaker 0

let's go let's let gren go smash the bugs

42:16Speaker 1

yeah go smash the bugs we've got the bug get get ready for the snapathons this weekend are you gonna be at the boston one

42:24Speaker 3

yep

42:24Speaker 2

absolutely i'll be at the boston one rich will be at the new york one i think mona's gonna be at the san francisco one so if there's one nearby and you wanna mess around you wanna meet forecaster people you should definitely go

42:35Speaker 1

awesome alright thank you so much grin we'll we'll see you in rome

42:40Speaker 2

see you alright ciao

42:44Speaker 1

ciao ciao alright and it and now there was three alright we've got a lot to talk about first off before we do anything else let's talk about the boot camp that you've been running for the past couple weeks here we're on day nine we're actually on day nine now i think right

43:10Speaker 3

i think it's the 10

43:12Speaker 1

10

43:13Speaker 3

yeah 10 and and it's the last day today funny enough

43:17Speaker 1

oh wow okay amazing and this was so day eight you had a town on talking about going viral on farcaster you had yesterday talking about ai and ethereum and agents identity and eight zero zero four what have been some of the sessions that you've been like really excited about or things that you've seen during the boot camp that got you excited

43:44Speaker 3

i think the one by atown that that you mentioned was one of one of my favorites first of all because i love emerge and all the mechanics that they built within the agent and the mini app you know like it's it's incredible and and i think in in that session you know like usually at this boot camp we always focus on how to build this how to build that but then there's always a component of okay we need to distribute this we need to find users and and and so that that's why i liked the that session in particular because shared a bunch of insights and learnings on on their journey in making emerge vital and and discoverable on forecasting so what's kind of an outlier with respect to the other ones that that that we had before

44:38Speaker 1

i love that and yeah because distribution dream right just rules everything around me and now we have farhack that started this started a couple days ago unleash the agents two weeks online hackathon to build with farcaster naynard and privy give your agent a wallet let it operate in the feed coordinate transact negotiate winners get free tickets for farcon rome and a showcase on stage so are you seeing any entries yet for this how do people participate if they've been hacking

45:14Speaker 3

so we we will be announcing a first check-in for this weekend actually on on sunday i'm planning to i mean i think i would release the form today and i will put a deadline for a first check-in submission on on sunday and and in this way i will get a taste of what people are are working on what people are are building so far i know that somebody are building agents of course somebody is building snaps as well because we also added one of the one of the trucks about snaps in particular

45:49Speaker 3

so yeah it's still a black box so i didn't have time to to check with everybody how they are doing but it's it's the plan for the week and then the and next week i think we're also gonna do some you know since the boot camp is ending today we still might wanna do some mentorship or i don't know like early feedback sessions next week so that we can make sure that people ship something cool

46:16Speaker 1

alright awesome i love it and then you've got these folks who are doing snapathons all over the place so maybe they'll have some crossover as they're building this weekend they should jump in and jump into far hack very cool okay so that's two things off the top that and we're just getting started here so we also have this you're looking for folks to speak at farcon so talk on stage at farcon we're opening slots for community talks and demos if you're building experimenting or have something worth sharing this is your moment and this is where you can submit a talk so anything you've seen so far that you're excited about or not even looking at how are are people flying do we need to push more how's it going

47:09Speaker 3

we def we definitely need to push more i've i've been so so it's down on the boot camp that i i was only communicating about it but we we started receiving some applications in the in the past few days and and they are also diverse we have some about ai some about design some about community some musicians that want to talk about their experience on you know growing on forecaster

47:37Speaker 3

what i'm really looking for besides like the talk so i also extended the the form to accept demos as well so that we can have both like let's say six talks but also like six demos from builders that want to showcase maybe something that they've been working on and so i'm i'm i don't know yet like what that right now may mean for but of course all these calls and demos will be voted by the community as it happened last year i thought it was a a really cool way of you know involved with the community in cocreating also part of the agenda so picking their most favorite or interesting thoughts and and demos and and that's why i we we decided to repurpose it for for this year edition as well

48:29Speaker 1

i love that and i think that really gives the audience what they want right because they get to actually choose who's gonna speak adrienne are you applying

48:41Speaker 0

i didn't apply the spot

48:44Speaker 3

you should

48:44Speaker 0

feel like yes feel like people are sick of hearing from me they hear from me like

48:50Speaker 1

i would love a seniors update i'm just saying

48:53Speaker 0

i'm just saying if i were gonna do a talk would i do one on seniors or building like i was thinking i think

48:59Speaker 1

you can do one on seniors that that you could start with seniors and then phase into a demo

49:07Speaker 3

yeah why not

49:09Speaker 0

alright i think i think both ways i'll apply i'll apply i will oblige i'll apply and then if people wanna hear it they can vote it up or not

49:16Speaker 1

there we go

49:18Speaker 3

amazing

49:19Speaker 1

there we go right i'm so easily convinced to do anything i put her on the spot put her on the spot i wanna shout out this too from statuette we're creating nfc badges for farcon rome to make networking easier encourage farcaster adoption and create a memorable collectible for farcon rome each badge it will include an nfc chip that links directly to the holders farcaster account so attendees can simply tap to connect and continue conversations after the event this is a poidh is a community driven effort to raise funds for the badges while supporting farcaster native builders and creators we'd love your help in making that happen please pitch in if you can so this is really cool we don't have icebreaker this year so we gotta create our own this will be the first year without it i'm like looking for my og one it's here somewhere it's like i know it's like right here somewhere it used to be really close by but i can't find it right now so this will be very cool i love the initiative here by statuette

50:28Speaker 3

yes sassuette sassuette has been has been great like she she and and also luciano they they've been helping us a lot behind the scenes but most importantly like coordinating and the the community putting a lot of energy into that and and i love the fact that saswat here like took charge in you know figuring out how to produce these nse budgets getting the funding is in touch with somebody in in the community to produce them so really really grateful to to see her you know like helping us like this

51:08Speaker 1

yeah this is great this is a great great initiative i'll submit italian gestures demo yes netno's we need that we need that i would love that

51:20Speaker 0

i would love that we troll net nose every time we try to say an italian word he's very angry that he can't

51:28Speaker 1

just tortured just tortured by my really bad pronunciation and my my insistence on using this gesture when i do it as well yeah he does not appreciate that we also i wanna say thank you but also the vote's not over so if you are in purple we did put a proposal up to help sponsor the media for farcon rome with us and this actually this particular prop will directly support the av equipment that is needed in to capture all the talks and then we'll be producing that on the back end editing and getting that out in all the places so thank you to those who've already voted and if you haven't yet it is still open until tomorrow we'd love your support

52:24Speaker 1

alright and then lastly let me pull this up this is the farcon roam website where you can find all the information super useful by the way it's got a lot of like really useful info it has you know recommendations all the things if you need to find a place to stay if you want to see whatever different sightseeing where you should go where you should be you can go check that out if you are looking for a ticket and can't afford to attend go check go apply there's still some scholarships available if you wanna do community talk you can submit your application here the hackathon information's here as well some other side events information is popping up now we've got an irl morning run who is doing that i'm guessing justin oh okay chops and then lago circle rome edition that's going to be really fun and then open studio as well with the kismet casa so yeah lots of fun things happening on sunday did we get the pizza dough event happening i don't remember

53:44Speaker 0

if that

53:44Speaker 1

went through

53:45Speaker 3

yeah so about these these events on sunday it's not mentioned directly here but we will have a barbecue at the with the with the logo circle maybe maybe we should make it more prominent yes and yeah the the pizzadao event is going to happen during builder's day we will actually have pizza pizza for lunch sponsored by pizzadao so the the proposal passed yeah

54:16Speaker 1

yay okay thank you pizzadao for supporting as well so here's like the recommendation site go check it out it has everything you need to know gives you locations where to stay what to see all the fun things and then in the mini app we also you also have a quiz that's been going on people can crap and i have been woefully behind on my quizzes so i need to get back i need to get back into it how are people today

54:47Speaker 3

a couple you see them a couple of tweets

54:49Speaker 1

i'm way behind yeah i'm way behind

54:52Speaker 3

there are some people that are greening guard i i didn't announce any any prize yet for for the best but i i need to think about something because it's you know it's it's such a great i i ended up with this because i was inspired with with your mini app as well and i said okay like today today we've closed code we can also build an entire dual lingo focus on on this right and so i said okay let let's do it

55:18Speaker 1

i love it i love it that's been really fun and don't let net nose win because he's cheating because he lives there

55:26Speaker 3

he's fifth right now if you go check-in the fifth

55:29Speaker 1

okay

55:30Speaker 3

but he's he's one on on of the longest streak i've seen 17 so he's been running hard for this

55:38Speaker 1

he's been going hard he's going hard for it adrian any questions for lamone that i may have forgotten to no i forgot to mention

55:47Speaker 0

anything we haven't covered lamont

55:49Speaker 1

what did we

55:51Speaker 0

yeah what did we miss

55:54Speaker 3

i think we we we mentioned everything i mean the the about the side events we we are still of course like planning and coordinating some more happening for for for these days that are going to be around farcon because we start on let's say the weekend i assume people will come saturday sunday and then there's an entire week of events because the weekend after or i think starting thursday or and friday there's also some events from dk summit some some privacy related stuff happening in rome and and it happened by chance so it was a nice thing so that more and more people are are coming in and so we are going to fill out more of these lots as you can see on on the friday there's already a web three privacy now meetup there's going to be also hopefully we're still working on on it on on the funding for a closing party let's say we have a we have a venue already and we are looking we we are working with the there's a proposal by

57:03Speaker 1

okay cool

57:03Speaker 3

key by by kismet and another organization that is in rome and as a place to you know host us kismet is bringing in a lot of artists that would be active throughout the different days from the open studio on sunday and some live performances both during the main events but also during the the closing party of course and i'm not talking just about djs but also visuals heart and so i i i think it it it's gonna be nice to see all these different community contribution coming in katra from hire is also joining us and and is bringing a bunch of activations throughout the days so and and and more to come so i'm still discussing with some other potential partners to bring more energy let's say

57:59Speaker 1

and the location for this is close to the

58:04Speaker 3

for the venue

58:04Speaker 1

builder day the venue itself okay

58:06Speaker 2

so it's

58:07Speaker 1

yeah it's general area

58:09Speaker 3

it's it's that's that's the new area and and that's also why we decided to to change the venue okay was of course like another decision because the old venue was very beautiful

58:20Speaker 1

yeah

58:21Speaker 3

but in the in the end i feel like the this one we ended up with now is more functional and convenient for all the activities that we can host in there and and nearby because that's that neighborhood is i think one of the most active we have in the city in terms of like local culture so there's a lot of restaurants bars pubs but also murals and and art if you if you work around and and it's not that you know like if you come to visit rome you always go in the city center colosseum piazza navona while testaccio i think i mean i've never been a tourist in rome but i i think that testaccio is not you know like top of the notch for tourists while i think it's the most probably like local experience that you can have and in that same area we also have the urbab which is you know the the permanent hub supported also by the ethereum foundation where we run a bunch of events meetups and and coworking and so in this way having the two venues nearby we can focus everything in one area ten minutes walk easy

59:30Speaker 1

any net nose approves

59:33Speaker 3

gasometer rules rules

59:35Speaker 1

okay and that's the location for the for the

59:38Speaker 3

yeah it's

59:39Speaker 1

or that area

59:40Speaker 3

yeah gas gasometro is how to say like one of the point of interest of that area because in the back back in the days there was like the huge this huge boiler containing gas and now it's part of the okay this post industrial landscape that that you have in ostianzentistachio this is the area name

60:01Speaker 1

alright

60:02Speaker 3

and you will see with the with the sunset is really i don't know it's it's interesting it's it's a nice view different from what you expect from from rome probably

60:13Speaker 1

yes to crypto is going for a long time it's gonna be there for a while i'm going for about a week so i'm i'm gonna be doing the taurus thing in the beginning and then

60:23Speaker 0

that'll be fun i just had an idea for both of you that i'm gonna talk about i need some more

60:28Speaker 3

time to

60:28Speaker 1

talk about it you're gonna do it live

60:29Speaker 0

no i don't i'm gonna try you just

60:34Speaker 0

no but i i have an idea for something i wanna organize that i need to alright i can't announce it live but i gonna need your help with this so i'm scared okay

60:41Speaker 2

oh and

60:42Speaker 3

of course i i i'm happy to help like what what we've been doing a lot is coordinating with you know local venues providers or you know any connection you need in the ground any idea or recommendation towards something i was talking for example with piney rainbow who's coming to to and she wanted to she wanted to organize jewelry workshop and so we're still figuring out some some details but there's somebody else wanted to organize some stuff with clay so it's it's gonna be it's gonna be fun yeah

61:21Speaker 1

it's gonna get artsy we're gonna get artsy here alright adrian and lamone anything else before we let him go he's gotta he's gotta get back to to boot camp

61:34Speaker 0

i'm no i just say i am so excited i think people are just like so excited one i for for farcon but also just the location yeah and really excited so it's gonna be a lot of fun i'm excited

61:49Speaker 3

yeah yeah i i really can't wait for it in in the next days of course i i will oh we get karaoke we that's something that you mentioned you will be organizing now nishprof right

62:00Speaker 1

i maybe you guys find a if we've got a location i mean i don't know that'd be one of those things we have to find in rome yeah we can do it

62:10Speaker 0

though oh i don't

62:11Speaker 3

think so see

62:12Speaker 1

alright we'll see adrian's like no

62:16Speaker 3

no you don't want to sing

62:18Speaker 1

oh not again

62:21Speaker 0

i think

62:21Speaker 3

it would i think it is it's a it's a great fit for the may 4 night there is there is nothing planned yet

62:30Speaker 1

yeah we could do that

62:30Speaker 3

or so it it's something that we could do us that night to just keep going together around

62:37Speaker 1

it's an idea it's an idea alright find us a karaoke bar in the area

62:43Speaker 3

will do

62:44Speaker 1

alright anything else the folks should know we good you excited are you nervous

62:50Speaker 3

excited not not nervous like it's in the end i think it's big community gathering so honestly i don't feel any pressure it's just about you know putting everybody together in one room and see what comes out of it so i would be like really happy to see you all at my place this time and yeah i'd say keep building keep pushing on farrak even if you are attending one of these irel architons this weekend push for one more week and submit to farrak and then of course if you want to co create something at the at the main event just shoot me a message it's it's what we want to to happen so very encourage any anybody reaching out if you have any ideas even if they sound crazy we can find a way to make it happen

63:51Speaker 1

we tend to have crazy ideas so that's that's likely alright awesome i'm excited i'm very excited we will see you soon and we may have you pop back on again we may have another another check-in when we get a little closer sure or after farhac

64:09Speaker 0

and after yeah

64:12Speaker 1

yeah definitely after in there we'll we'll get you get you right there as well but even if you want to talk about heart farhaq or anything like that let us know alright we'll

64:26Speaker 3

we'll see you thank

64:27Speaker 1

you so much alright bye lavonne

64:30Speaker 3

ciao ciao ciao

64:32Speaker 0

ciao

64:34Speaker 1

i'm so excited yeah it's gonna be a lot of fun alright we've got a little bit more to do we've got some builder stuff to talk about

64:46Speaker 1

as i'm pulling that up what are you most excited about for rome

64:56Speaker 0

i'm everything i don't know i love farcon we've been to three they've always been incredible i feel like it's been a year since the like it's been a long year since the last one

65:09Speaker 1

it's been a long year

65:11Speaker 0

it's been a long year

65:12Speaker 1

very long year

65:13Speaker 0

so excited to kinda reconnect with people on the ground in real life

65:22Speaker 0

i think it's good timing i mean what if the acquisition hadn't closed before you know it's like we're we're glad to be able to look forward and then ultimately i'm like just really excited to go to rome i haven't been to italy in like about twenty some years

65:36Speaker 1

i've never been so

65:38Speaker 0

yeah oh my god you're gonna love it so i'm so excited i think that'll be really it'll be it'll be fun

65:45Speaker 1

alright i'm trying to get my links open this is my last group of links and it's just like yeah you're done while you're should we put maybe not

65:53Speaker 2

while you're

65:54Speaker 0

doing that you want me to start a poll so we can play with the new poll feature

65:57Speaker 1

yes go play with the poll feature okay yeah

66:01Speaker 0

what are

66:01Speaker 1

you gonna ask

66:02Speaker 0

so while professor is getting links up for our fourth and final segment

66:10Speaker 1

okay have you built a snap alright okay how do people answer it i assumed you drop it in the chat but you can't

66:20Speaker 0

no i thought they'd show like a qr code maybe they do and we just don't see it on our end i'll find out

66:27Speaker 1

i would think we'd have to see it on our end i don't know we don't know how this works she's tagging that

66:34Speaker 0

nicole says have you built a snap oh type one two or three in chat

66:39Speaker 1

oh so just tell one for yes two not yet three what's a snap also what's a snap in our chat 1 two or three partial

66:48Speaker 0

chat that comes in yeah so i guess on x or youtube yeah give us a

66:55Speaker 1

give it a try so that we can see how could

66:57Speaker 3

you do

66:57Speaker 0

it just so we can test this

66:59Speaker 1

yeah we can test it

67:01Speaker 0

unless we don't yeah

67:02Speaker 1

maybe we don't see it i don't know maybe we see a total i don't know we're gonna find out alright

67:08Speaker 0

going on guy i'm gonna close it soon right because we you can leave

67:14Speaker 1

it on the screen if you want

67:16Speaker 0

don't we wanna see if it worked okay let's

67:19Speaker 1

oh well go ahead do you wanna close it that quickly and see if it works wait a minute oh i don't know what she's doing

67:29Speaker 0

where where are the results

67:30Speaker 1

i'm not in charge of this recording

67:31Speaker 0

so we're play by the way we are live okay i'm gonna i'll just keep it open

67:34Speaker 1

live playing oh i see the stop poll okay yeah

67:37Speaker 0

but i don't see the results maybe no one did it we're live playing with new streamyard features so alright

67:44Speaker 1

we could actually test it in the chat can't we say one in the chat

67:49Speaker 0

no you not our chat

67:51Speaker 1

you have to do

67:51Speaker 0

it oh

67:53Speaker 3

you have to

67:54Speaker 1

do it first

67:54Speaker 0

i would say you have to do it from youtube or twitter for it to work oh it is working

67:59Speaker 1

oh it's working through youtube yeah it works through youtube yeah that's what i meant our chat i meant the that chat yeah i think it's working it's working now it's working

68:08Speaker 0

but what about

68:09Speaker 1

so yeah you just type the number i don't know if

68:11Speaker 0

you want to x

68:12Speaker 1

to just comment one two or three this comment 12 or 3 yes you built a snap not yet or what's a snap for 3 cool let's see if that works i think it worked oh no she did it on youtube messaged you satuate we wanted you to do it on twitter because i thought you were on twitter alright anyway we're gonna move

68:33Speaker 0

of it well i don't like the mechanism what they should do for this is put up polls or interactive things with a qr code that people hit with their phone

68:43Speaker 1

yeah we could

68:43Speaker 0

do that because i don't know alright

68:46Speaker 1

streamyard but actually it worked it worked we just don't know if it's working on twitter but it's working in youtube

68:52Speaker 0

yeah you're gonna have a thousand people watching and three people give you their answers so that's not helpful

68:59Speaker 0

it's not a scientific poll

69:01Speaker 1

nobody said it was a scientific poll alright moving on this from my friend jake to be honest i had no idea what a meta aggregator was but after nonlinear won today's auction for attention q r on for attention qr fund i took a few minutes to learn three things to aggregators meta aggregators and spandex aggregators monitor liquidity across multiple dexs to find the best price for swapping reduce slippage and facilitate more complex swaps swaps meta aggregators monitor across multiple aggregators to offer similar benefits but at one level higher removing centralized risks of a single aggregator being down or broken or just worse compared to other aggregator to another aggregator kinda wanna build a meta meta aggregator now spandex is a fully customizable developer friendly and open source meta aggregator library that means developers can inspect and contribute to the code base decide which aggregators to include configure settings and tailor the functionality to their specific use case wait this kind of this is kind of like a meta meta aggregator actually holy meta aggregation alright so i was reading this because it served two purposes one we got to highlight spandex and get an explanation of exactly what it is which was very helpful thank you jake and then also showing off that the what qr has been doing and we've been working with them to help share their folks who win the auction including spandex which was the recent one but also you can go bid on the auction right now or join a bid and it looks like betterment's making a play here so if you wanna go join the betterment bid you can right now few couple hours left two hours and seventeen minutes on this auction so go check it out

71:07Speaker 1

this was really interesting so we had earlier miyamoto talking about clinker and the cef and then they had posted about the project i'm referring to as qr fun they they had like sort of teased this project and it went on he went on to talk about the qr fund i've been following since clanker season when it first ran to 8,000,000 all time high recently with the launch of cef clanker eco fund i started digging back into the ecosystem to find teams still building and qr.fund stood out and then this went on and on pretty cool to see this and then also and i can't find it right now base also had retweeted something that jake had posted about spandex so it kind of like right now you've got a really interesting flywheel going on with qr where you're getting a few different bumps if you are a clinker for example and you win an auction you're also going to get featured on clanker.world so very cool just cool what he's working on over there so just shout out to jake this from atown over the past few weeks we have had some degrading performance on emerge and don't have the bandwidth to address it while we sprint towards shipping the new app we are building that is being funded by arbitrum we are extremely close to launching it but unfortunately we will need to keep emerge in maintenance mode for a bit until we can divert our attention back to the app to get animations working again and to figure out what is causing the app to crawl to a crash in each session pardon the inconvenience so emerge is currently down i had such a good idea the other day and i went to like create it and realized it was in maintenance mode and that was sad that was sad so i i miss you come back but also i appreciate the the comms appreciate the comms this from our friend mike good little nouner hello farcaster xppacyber.eth and i have been working on an app originally inspired by at jack that's jack from opepkin fame self checkout receipts so that was a that was something that happened at art basel where jack was there with a receipt printer that also became an nft it was really kind of cool anyone could mint and then you got an actual physical receipt it was pretty pretty neat so it started as a physical camera with a receipt printer and has since turned into a memory engine anyone can use from their phone introducing gnome camera gnome turns a photo into an on chain memory you can keep or gift our core flow creates a new wallet in the background so sharing a memory can also become someone's first step on chain it's a simpler more human way to capture moments and onboard friends available as a web app or on forecaster and base apps so go check it out very cool love love the build i had tested this out a little bit for mike and really neat and then it it kind of gives me a little bit of rock vibes if they get the physical part of it going i also can see lots of use cases at events especially onboarding events would be very cool this from burr and you can no longer join this but i just wanted to shout this out for those who are playing 100,000,000 better masters contest anyone with a point six neynar score has one free entry waiting for them choose five golfers lowest combined finishing position wins if your golfers finish one three seven nine ten your score is 30 etcetera very cool idea and i like that burr is trying to fill this hole left by bracke with different things like this and i was kind of bummed that i missed it i didn't get a chance to do my picks and i was very sad because it had started and i'm like oh no i forgot but very cool and good to see it and love love seeing what you're doing couple more things from some builders have you checked this out yep by the way this is from our friend justin just look at the dino chart for the first time surely i'm not the only one who sees this and he drew a little dino on there but this is the t rex runner let me see if i can get this to open

75:53Speaker 1

okay hold on it's gonna make me log in oh it's just making me add it so it you jump it's just a little runner game mhmm

76:05Speaker 3

but

76:05Speaker 1

it's really cute and then if you crash then you can continue for a thousand dino if you want to but it's just a cute little runner game and it it was just kinda fun so wanted to share that cute little game now you need to make it into a snap though on on dottie

76:24Speaker 0

i think that'd be hard that seems hard as a snap animated game i don't know

76:28Speaker 1

i don't know i don't know maybe it could work i don't know if it oops i feel like you could do this with a snap no maybe not maybe i'm asking too much of snaps i saw some runner games but i guess they were just like you were moving them over one by one yeah it wasn't really running running but anyway it's very cute let's go check it out this from garrett we just launched our laser mini apps cli that generates a set of agent skills for building on chain apps and mini apps on farcaster base and world this is a super helpful tool to build on chain mini apps and we're excited to open this up for anyone to use miniapps.laser.tools and you can find more info there very cool more tools and then lastly we had this happen yesterday or yeah yesterday i think it was yesterday or the day before the base trenches went quiet then proxy studio moon pappy showed up with liquid their new token launcher the best in the game made specifically to make base run again fun open built for anything worth trading rainbow is the best place to launch and trade liquid tokens 0% swap fees on all liquid tokens 100% of lp fees go to creators

77:53Speaker 1

so interesting very interesting we'll we'll see how that how that goes and glad to see moon poppy popping back up again i i actually had to mute him for a little bit there because the bot got really annoying

78:09Speaker 0

oh how

78:10Speaker 1

do you know what's the bot it was the bot no it was definitely the bot because it was just it kept it kept saying the same thing over and over again oh he had set he had created a bot that was casting for him and i was like oh

78:23Speaker 0

i'm just seeing him on my feet but when he when he first said i'm out of here i'll move everything is gonna go through my bot the at least those early casts i was like i'm cool with this you sound like moon poppy and i'm fine but i haven't heard from him recently i don't know where he is

78:39Speaker 1

i think he's he's back a little bit and he's mostly he's been busy yeah and he's mostly focused on twitter on x so he's over there oh that's funny that's funny yes to crypto mind boggles with what snaps will be part of the next cast out oh hadn't thought about that had not thought about that good point good point yeah so there you go proxy's back doing its thing and moon is moon is working with them so there you go i did see some nice pleasantries between dish and proxy as well all right that's it that's everything that was a lot go build some snaps people i can't wait to see what people build this weekend very excited for those who weren't here when frames first dropped like that weekend afterwards was really fun because people were just constantly building new things and so i'm looking forward to similar energy with all these meetups and yeah i'm gonna try and build one myself hopefully i can get it actually to work anything else adrienne on this happy friday

79:56Speaker 0

no i just i think we covered it all i think oh should we tease our episodes next week

80:04Speaker 1

yes we should go ahead who do we have on monday

80:09Speaker 0

monday we have rish joining to talk about the clanker ecosystem fund so definitely wanna join for that that's early time i think no late time nope 11:30 eastern

80:22Speaker 1

noon eastern yep

80:23Speaker 0

yeah and they'll be able to join at noon eastern 9am pacific so yeah so they announced the clicker ecosystem fund last week maybe two weeks ago i don't know but we'll get details on that and then we're not on until friday thursday thursday thursday thursday thursday and we have

80:43Speaker 1

like this grandpas we have the the the crew from grandpas yes we're gonna be talk chatting with them they were supposed to be with us the other day and we switched it to make it a little easier for them that'll be an early morning because they are over in korea so we didn't want them to have to be with us at 1am so instead it'll be 10pm their time so very excited

81:07Speaker 1

so we'll talk we'll chat with them and then the following week we have the wyoming what is it again it's it's like w y d e and i'm trying to remember what it stands

81:18Speaker 0

for i don't know but they're

81:21Speaker 1

really interesting

81:22Speaker 0

yes

81:22Speaker 1

right nonprofit yeah so nonprofit doona so decentralized unincorporated nonprofit association and out of wyoming and they're working with a lot of different nonprofits on accepting crypto and things like that so that should be really really interesting as

81:43Speaker 0

well and they're partnering they think they just announced a partnership with feeding america or no a different yes or or they've already been working with feed the children so i think it's kinda like they're taking all the trading fees from their token and funnel it into hunger

82:03Speaker 1

a nonprofit yeah yeah yep

82:05Speaker 0

so so very cool stopping hunger so interesting stuff and

82:09Speaker 1

following week yeah yeah so we have a lot lot going on monday will be really fun i'm excited to have rishon i'm curious to see all the snaps that you guys create this weekend and so make sure you you know come up with your favorites and we'll share them on monday yeah alright everybody that's it for us we will see you monday happy friday all and until next week bye bye
