2:44Speaker 2

not too great

2:45Speaker 0

i sound like i'm struggling but we are gonna do this regardless i was like if i had a real job i would be calling in sick right now but i don't so here we are and we are going to persevere here we go this from brad q twenty nine seconds of forecaster what did you miss this weekend a very slow weekend i actually just double checked i'm like is this all the links i have i'm like i feel like i should have more it's very light very light a very slow weekend so let's shout out the handful of things carrying forecast right now better betterment continues to thrive in a tough market setting records on daily myths over sometimes over two k and regularly 500 to 1,000 supporting creators and great collabs with new projects and builders is there a better economic engine right now on farcaster right now fantastic gm farcaster unsung fc heroes with three weekly well now we

3:49Speaker 3

only have two but we didn't tell brad that

3:52Speaker 2

we haven't told anyone that

3:54Speaker 0

we just kinda did it three weekly shows interviewing the best builders far con videos keeping you up to date every week and providing fun and doing it for the love of the game shout out naneshprop and adrienne farcaster intern bringing a new vibe to community building and support they are everywhere supportive and encouraging let's not overlook a few 100 farcasters sharing life supporting one another and genuinely carrying farcaster can't hit hundreds but some unsung heroes come to mind milliboo your berserker and vito 4k.eth fotocross fotocaster and uci continue to be big daily positive activities and continue their momentum on the feed so freaking like what is that that's so funny momentum on the feed shout out eric's jonathan colton and nikolai gm forecaster is back to today i may have missed some fcers that deserve shout outs these came to mind early on a monday when freewheeling on the keyboard and hitting send that's hilarious with your with your breaking news yeah so we kinda just quietly moved to two days a week for at least the time being

5:20Speaker 0

gotta keep you posted i had things going on on fridays

5:24Speaker 4

so it's like no good things going on

5:28Speaker 3

and

5:28Speaker 2

you were teaching tuesdays so you were teaching tuesdays tuesday nights so the wednesday morning

5:34Speaker 0

it wasn't working it was very very challenging this is our big news today this from dish i've decided to move on from working on clankr there's more i want to build i'm grateful to the clankr community for trusting an experiment that had no right to scale the way it did to the creators who've turned attention into funding and reminded me how motivating it is to help people succeed to the farcaster community for the feedback loop and to everyone who deployed traded or just ship posted a token along the way i've done all those things building this tommy and what it actually takes to make something people care about and operate systems at scale whatever comes next i'm leaving with a with sharper instincts and a better sense of the kinds of problems and people i want to spend my time around so this was the big news and we are i'm like checking my dms right now to see if he responded trying to get dish in here sometime this week to chat about his journey and we hope to have him on soon we just haven't come up with the exact date for that but we really wanna chat with him and we wanna thank dish for all he's done and he has earned some time off all i will say like well earned well earned

7:10Speaker 2

he's had a year it's

7:12Speaker 0

it's it's been a it's been a wild ride it's been an absolutely wild ride

7:18Speaker 2

so much right like so much of that job gets inflicted on you yeah and and you can from well i mean there's certain things about acquisitions obviously which causes you know disruption and change but just like the constant the constant public feed that it's a lot

7:39Speaker 0

it's a lot it's it's

7:41Speaker 2

a lot a lot of stakeholders that have a lot of opinions and dish is a gem like

7:48Speaker 0

yeah and i kinda i wasn't surprised by this at all i don't know if you were i know you you probably weren't either like we knew it was coming but also just knew that like it wasn't surprising as the acquisitions were happening i figured that this was part of that approach that eventually he would step away because he alright quiet he wanted to step away and just you know let somebody else take the reins for a little bit because this was never his he never wanted to be out front so it's it's wild it's it's been a wild ride so thank you dish for all you've done and we love you

8:31Speaker 2

very heartwarming to see all the public love on the timeline yeah

8:36Speaker 0

totally

8:37Speaker 2

because it's well well earned and deserved

8:40Speaker 0

yeah absolutely and dish we love you and we hope you'll stop by i am drinking a lot of water today sorry my throat is killing me so behind adrienne right now is this hopefully you guys understand what's happening this was in reference of the spotify new logo the disco ball logo so is this better from the farcaster intern hilarious

9:17Speaker 0

in response to say angel putting this out but also like yeah this is hilarious this was absolutely hilarious and then actually i really like this version i recommend that this become the official version of

9:33Speaker 2

the forecaster arch yes

9:36Speaker 0

mookie says yes mookie says yes this should be the official version of the forecaster arch this was my attempt to add our version it was okay don't you know it was fine it was fine it didn't quite it works work out the way i you know didn't love it but better than spotify's in my opinion so we've had some fun on the timeline this from peachy warning this is a scam and there's been a lot actually happening around around this type of thing this is a scam the same bot network that's trying to drain your wallet with fake hypersnap claims is now trying to take over your computer with a fake farcaster desktop website please be extra cautious this network of automated accounts

10:32Speaker 0

this network of automated accounts is malicious and trying every tactic possible to get you to click so i've seen a few things like this there's also some mini apps be really careful right now around this hypersnap like airdrop there's been quite a few things that have dropped that are fake and malicious so be careful out there and report and block as much as you can to make sure that you do not get scammed

11:08Speaker 0

this from

11:09Speaker 2

i think assume assume scam and then and kind of like guilty until proven not yeah is is a good way of getting things

11:17Speaker 0

and anything having to do with hypersnap if it's not coming from cassie it's it's not real so make sure you're checking cassie's profile for anything that is legit and also checking the farcaster profile both on twitter and on farcaster to make sure that you have a legit thing that you are checking out be careful out there lots of crazy craziness going on this from clanker this is the latest fresh clank regarding dota and azzi flynn dota is agents dota agents this is the amazing game that was created by azzi flynn azzi flynn's bio is ai plus crypto always be coding and they mean it they spend enough time studying token mechanics launch infra and on chain game economies to know exactly what bad design looks like sniperfest from and dump cycles token with no value accrual they've critiqued all of it publicly in their spare time they reverse engineer other people's smart contracts infra just to understand how it works not for a project just for fun and because knowledge compounds when they build defense of agents doda agents and launch doda via clanker the token was an infrastructure decision they've already been experimenting with clanker parameters dev buys secret phrase deploys they knew what they were doing defensive agents is a moba where humans and ai agents fight together pick a class pick a lane your hero autofights while you make strategic calls sign in with firecaster or x or build a bot and send it in via api 6,000 plus opens in the past month and the people keep playing he keeps shipping that's the kind of builder clanker was made for and i love this this is such a good write up

13:29Speaker 0

clank clank clank clank clank love this and i love i've loved seeing az flynn's like current like arc

13:40Speaker 2

his arc his farm as our builder arc

13:43Speaker 0

great yes i love it i love it absolutely love it so it's been really fun to watch him build for sure

13:49Speaker 2

i just had to google what moba is

13:53Speaker 0

yeah i know it but i can't put my finger on

13:56Speaker 2

it right now it's a multiplayer online battle arena

14:00Speaker 0

thank you thank you so much i've played it it's really fun and you just go in and just like let your little your little agent play so it's really fun go check it out if you have not checked out dodi yet you definitely want to do that and he's been running some tournaments as well so those have been those have been really cool to see we had one at farcon rome really excited to see what else he builds here so it's been really fun moving on this from rish mobile app performance we've had some issues i don't know if you've noticed i know i have where like things have been floating and weird like my like casting when i was trying to cast in the mobile app it's been a little funky so mobile app performance this is likely one of the most annoying issues we have looked at this is from rish expo fifty three reached its official end of life when expo fifty five was announced farcaster apps were on 53 and needed the 55 upgrade this was known thing even from late last year what does this mean do you know

15:17Speaker 2

i actually so i've not built any sort of mobile apps but i assume expo is like the framework they're building it on or something it's like the some some library or something that holds like a it's some dependency or library

15:30Speaker 0

and i was once again just just hoping that that adrienne would know this

15:35Speaker 2

i actually don't know yeah i don't know i actually have never heard the term expo before he wrote this but i have tons of familiarity with upgrades and dependency upgrades and they effing suck okay and yeah

15:49Speaker 0

okay and continuing on the upgrade had many breaking changes one of those changes has introduced a memory leak that happens as you keep using the app longer this results in various performance issues where the app scrolling might lag replies might have screen flashing up and down etcetera our ios update was blocked on apple reviews for more than a week so we couldn't land a lot of the native build changes that would solve the root cause it should finally start going out shortly it's unlikely it will fix everything but should get to a spot where we can then solve over the next week appreciate all the reports and bearing through the temporary bugginess major version upgrades are never fun and it's no surprise why companies wait as long

16:40Speaker 4

as wait as long as they

16:41Speaker 0

can before making such changes yes very painful to upgrade yes no no's

16:49Speaker 4

so

16:49Speaker 2

it's a it's a framework for building ios and android like okay phone apps which is

16:58Speaker 0

so they're having issues so if you're seeing issues with ios this is what's going on please be patient they are working on getting everything fixed so remember when we just said that we're only doing shoe shows a week but we're not we're actually doing three this week

17:20Speaker 0

so breaking news

17:22Speaker 4

breaking news

17:22Speaker 0

breaking news we actually have a third this week on wednesday we are going to be in decentraland and i'm really excited about this this is gonna be super fun i was having a blast like creating the cover art and everything for this particular experience

17:48Speaker 0

so some breaking news is killing me so this is gonna be really fun we're gonna be in decentraland on wednesday evening so a little gm in the pm and we're including you can actually mint a bert emote and that is what you're seeing on your screen right now is a little bert emote in decentraland and we're gonna have so much fun with abc dcl tours who sponsored the farcon rome media and we are gonna do a little tour with them of decentraland's farcaster estate with it has warplitz it has this fabulous bert emote and i'm really excited and they're also gonna give away some land so wynn land and dcl floor price for a parcel is currently around 100 us join me adjab and toxic wayfoo as we give nanushpraf and adrienne from gm forecaster a tour of decentraland for your chance to win and this is gonna be 9pm utc 5pm edt wednesday may 20 so this this wednesday and the 13793 parcel is up for grabs it's next door to the forecaster estate so you have a chance to win you also have a chance to get that fabulous burt emote which i'm just in love with i'm so in love with this so this is gonna be a lot of fun and i'm really excited thank you oddjob and the team from abcdcl tours for sponsoring farcom rooms media and we're excited to do the little tour it's gonna be fun so excited this is gonna be a lot of fun moving on

19:45Speaker 0

so things were happening over on twitter dish said i'm moving on from clanker and then deployer said how much for clanker and rish said market cap is public and say angel created this little cartoon some people took that as like rish being i don't know snarky but i was like i think that's a perfectly perfectly fine response

20:14Speaker 2

okay wait two things are true it was a perfectly fine response in fact i think it was s tier 10 out of 10 like i loved his response

20:25Speaker 0

that was perfect

20:28Speaker 2

but it was snarky rich can tell

20:31Speaker 4

me i

20:31Speaker 2

mean rich can tell me i'm wrong but it's snarky because i don't think that's what he was asking

20:39Speaker 0

i know but also if he was serious he wouldn't ask it on a timeline it's definitely not on twitter

20:45Speaker 2

okay right so then so yeah it's all for you know

20:49Speaker 0

deployer you're a little snarky to begin with

20:52Speaker 2

and well played i would just totally agree yeah yeah deployer started it

20:56Speaker 4

oh yeah you see that

20:58Speaker 0

totally deployer started it deployer you started it but i kind of i loved it i loved it i thought it was a great response so if you missed it this actually happened over on twitter and i was like no i can't take this i can't take one more acquisition i just i can't sorry i can't but for 25,000,000 i would say yeah sure i get it which is the public which is the market cap so you know

21:31Speaker 2

market cap okay but also the clanker token you know is also not necessarily connected to clanker assets

21:40Speaker 0

exactly yeah so that's why folks thought it was a

21:43Speaker 2

little snarky yeah

21:45Speaker 0

yeah but i got i

21:46Speaker 2

like my personal opinion on this since you asked since no one asked is i thought this

21:52Speaker 0

was stupid your personal opinion since it's our show

21:56Speaker 2

i thought all of this was stupid it drove me crazy i'm like guys shut the f up and get back to building like no one no one asked for this no one needs this it's distracting and then i did like later feel like you know what right and then first of all you've clanker and deploy or like clanker and banker at it then you've got then proxy trying

22:18Speaker 4

to interject liquid into the like

22:20Speaker 2

and then i was like you know what you you're all stupid get a life go start building something and it's like just keep building

22:28Speaker 0

but they're all like

22:29Speaker 2

i say with love

22:30Speaker 0

either way they're all amazing builders and we love them all

22:33Speaker 2

with so much love i'm saying this with love it's it's like it is my motherly love

22:38Speaker 4

that

22:38Speaker 2

i am saying

22:39Speaker 0

the mom

22:40Speaker 4

this is

22:40Speaker 0

the mom and adrienne coming out

22:42Speaker 2

it's just like and then i kind of took a step back and i was like you know what though it's like sometimes you need to like throw red meat to the you know like people need the little drama everyone's talking about it it's all in good fun who cares like it'll pass and whatever true frankie this weekend so and guess what everyone's talking about all

23:02Speaker 4

the things now and in

23:03Speaker 2

some ways the internet rewards that and i throw up in my mouth every time i have to even admit that that's a thing

23:11Speaker 0

i actually thought it was a great response i really did like well done rich

23:16Speaker 2

it was smart it was kind of like next like yeah you answered a great it was a great it was a great response great response loved it

23:24Speaker 0

absolutely loved it so well done rish and rish is not a shit poster so you know he can't he can't really normally compete with these two so it was well done a couple more he's very smart couple more things before i see one dalinski and nikolai in our green room and we're gonna bring them up in just a moment couple more things this was really funny on the timeline we had a little triumph copy pasta going on triumph is so good one of the best if not the best insult comics of all time i personally added my own triumph is so good one of the best if not the best bands from the eighties matthew b triumph is so good one of the best if not the best casters but this all started with thumb our friend thumb aka two chance triumph is so good one of the best if not the best mobile game experiences i assume that's what i'm saying

24:29Speaker 4

i have

24:29Speaker 0

no idea what that is i knew what all the other things are yeah knew what all the other things are but i have no idea what that is but we had a little a little fun with triumph and we do love triumph the farcaster especially so fabulous this is from matt lee cool new snap requested from free turtle by dylstack enter username and get a link to your gm farcaster guest profile this is fantastic so type in your name and you'll see if you have a guest profile so does everyone have one even if they don't have anything every andrew just made this yeah

25:12Speaker 2

everybody on farcaster has a page on the gm farcaster website and cool yeah you can get to it through matt lee's turtle free turtle created snap for dilsen

25:24Speaker 0

there you go and if you've been on the show it will show those episodes and if you have not it will and we've talked about casts that you've shared then those will show and if not it will just be blank you'll it'll be there so go check it out

25:44Speaker 0

this from linda proud of my husband w warren for what he and zero x team built over the past ten years some go from smart contracts tinkering in grad school to dropping out due to passion for decentralized exchange to now billions in monthly trade volume and enabling swaps for the major players and this was in response to will warren sharing that today i'm transitioning out of my role as co ceo of zero x i remain a major shareholder i'll continue to sit on the board and i will continue to lend my support for vandy and the team i'm proud of what we built in our role realizing the vision of tokenization

26:35Speaker 0

excuse me sorry throat killing me as i mentioned in the beginning so i'm gonna continue to take some water here but we love matcha we love matcha xyz they've been a supporter of gm forecaster and also zero x has just been such an amazing product throughout the years so cool to see will warren take a little retirement

27:02Speaker 0

hopefully him and linda can now learn physics together so there you go i don't know maybe that's what they're doing this from faircaster fair v two starts today v one was the hypothesis can ai agent actually run a vc fund 59 k in fund peaked at $1.26 k six months 100% plus on unrealized p and l huge unrealized wins on qr noise and opsis and more 80 plus signals research memos market reads and even brian noticed us i'm assuming that's brian armstrong or it could be it could be the other brian but we won't we won't talk about him i'm sure he noticed as well but what matters most a community of real people who actually believe in this hypothesis v one proved discovery now it's time to prove execution the best agent will be one who actually makes money and the v two goal is simple be the best agent in terms of p and l fair and unafraid so congratulations on the v two and looking forward to seeing what happens next so go check it out this from oops we already talked about this we're gonna have oh i know why i pulled this because one dalinski is popping in and i don't know if you've seen i'm sure you've seen this the event snap is really cool so if you have events you can add them to this snap and it's very cool so this is our abc dcl guided tour decentraland which is coming on wednesday but also just wanted to show the snap very cool you can add it to the event snap by the way wen zolinski and nikolai are probably two of the most prolific builders so i don't know how we're gonna just keep it to vineyard but we're gonna try this from chris lark larsk hold up is farcaster intern just horse facts i don't know adrienne do you know who the farcaster intern is nope no idea no idea no idea but maybe it's horse facts

29:31Speaker 2

doing a great job

29:32Speaker 0

they are doing an amazing job actually

29:35Speaker 2

they do sound a lot like horsebacks at times

29:37Speaker 0

occasionally i do feel that yeah yeah i do feel that it's weird it's almost like they're related and we'll just we're all related

29:47Speaker 2

aren't we all related to horsebacks we're all related

29:50Speaker 0

to horse facts

29:50Speaker 4

i think

29:51Speaker 2

we hang out together

29:53Speaker 0

i was ecstatic to see horse facts in rome that was amazing it was amazing to hang out with horse facts in rome and we do have an interview with him so we have released a whole bunch of farcon rome

30:09Speaker 3

a

30:09Speaker 0

whole bunch of the talks that have happened so we've released the builder talk the keynote the panel that has the farcon ogs the community talks and the demos and the only thing we haven't released yet has been the interviews which should be coming out either today or tomorrow depending on when i can get that done so that is gonna be really fun to get horse facts in there as well alright adrienne are you ready to bring up our our guests to chat about viniap i'm very excited

30:50Speaker 4

that's cool

30:50Speaker 0

i haven't checked out the chat how is everyone doing in the chat the chatters are chatting guys yeah they're very chatty alright

30:58Speaker 2

let's go had arianne just had a great idea when you're sharing the gm forecaster guest pages that we're adding wouldn't it be great if you could add on the episode page who was chatting

31:10Speaker 2

great idea i was just typing him and i just say it to him if you're still in ariane great idea impossible to do because i don't have that information stored anywhere

31:20Speaker 0

i think the only place we store it is in the cast it's just in the cast announcement for the episode so i don't know i if you could capture those or not

31:32Speaker 2

yeah i guess i could go back in history of all your casts parse out the episode number find the chatters add them okay

31:41Speaker 0

you know she's gonna work on this today

31:43Speaker 2

if you don't want me to do it while you're doing the interview with vinnie i'll just start posting the ideas that i'm on when we're live

31:49Speaker 0

adrienne you have to pay attention because you actually know

31:52Speaker 2

i know i love yeah i know okay let's go so alright we're bringing up will yeah chatter so it's

31:58Speaker 0

okay i'll bring up wendellinski and nikolai hello welcome to gm farcaster we're so excited to have you here

32:10Speaker 3

hey guys gm

32:12Speaker 5

hello gm gm

32:13Speaker 0

gm gm i can hear you perfectly

32:17Speaker 3

wonderful

32:18Speaker 0

it's amazing to meet you wanda linsky and it was great to meet nikolai in rome and when i heard you speaking when you were doing your presentation on you were doing it on binney app but you also were talking about uci and all these other things that you have done and i was like oh i used to use that all the time like i didn't know you made that it was like wild

32:45Speaker 2

the gen stats

32:46Speaker 4

thank you gen stats frames

32:48Speaker 2

the ham frames

32:50Speaker 0

the ham frames i'm like oh my god

32:51Speaker 4

i used to use those things all the time

32:54Speaker 5

yeah it's exciting that you use some stuff and you don't know who is the real person behind it yeah it's it's same on my end like i i met some builders i'm like wow you built this that's really cool yeah

33:05Speaker 3

it really it really brings to mind the someone should build this and it's like someone is this kind of a femoral idea of kind of some magical being

33:14Speaker 0

and there was the someones and the someones were there

33:17Speaker 4

that's right that's

33:19Speaker 0

right so we got a little preview of vini app while we were in rome which was amazing and the demos are now out so if you go to the farcon rome playlist on youtube on the gm farcaster channel you'll find that but we'd love for you all to tell us about vini app and what it is and adrienne was like blown away and she immediately booked you to come on the show because she had a chat with you about this and was just like wow this is incredible so tell us a little bit what is vini app and yeah what have you been building

33:56Speaker 3

yeah you know what i'll i'll jump in so the the basic idea of any app is that we're in this kind of new era where we're all super familiar with kinda jesse saying like builders builders builders today is the day of the builders and even even advertising over the last kind of fifteen years we've seen apple be like this is the age of apps everyone should be making apps if you make apps you're gonna get rich and your your life is gonna be better and if you create like basically creating apps and building

34:24Speaker 0

things wait we're supposed to be rich now

34:26Speaker 4

that's right that's right well

34:30Speaker 4

fulfilled let's say fulfilled we'll say fulfilled

34:32Speaker 2

we are rich with friendships

34:34Speaker 3

that's right that's right that's right and so the narrative has been super strong it's kind of been like a a religious kind of cult for a while but the the the problem is is that most people i myself included were i was never really a coder i was never a builder myself and so the narrative i heard it the narrative made me anxious because i was like you know what i agree that we should kind of be building things but when i sit down in front of an ide or a terminal or some sort of like command line prompt it's kind of like am i neo from the matrix or like

35:07Speaker 4

like what do i put

35:08Speaker 3

on my resume now like how does this play out and so historically honestly for the last kind of fifteen years as this narrative has has been strong some people have kind of crossed the the void a little bit and said okay i'm gonna start kind of diving in and i'm gonna kind of get get my feet wet and that's really what i did like i just spent like ages of of just coding sitting in stack overflow irc all these platforms and it was painful to be honest right it's like i i have there's some someone else on the internet where i where i was kinda stupid chris a while ago would go in and be like hey guys like how do i get this webpage to land not asking the right question not using the right terminology not doing anything correct and they reminded me of it they were kind of like yeah that's just the dumbest question ever you should really never show up again

35:53Speaker 0

and there's no dumb questions except the one you don't ask that's right that's right that's right that's the teacher in me

35:59Speaker 3

that's right you learn that you learn that but it's you still get the commentary the commentary is still very real and so i mean after kind of having kind of gone through this peer pain period for a long period of time and with this new kind of wave of ai obviously we're all kind of familiar with kind of the love bowls the bolts the replicates we are just now at a point in time where we can kind of arm the the 99.5% of people that are not builders and basically just lift that weight off their back and say look the the tools that you have access to which is just english or frankly any language because it's ai so you can be from greece or turkey or iran or or india or or brazil anywhere in the world you can type in your native language so spanish portuguese blah blah blah and with a simple sentence you can turn your whole kind of world inside out and kinda upside down and get a fully shareable app in less than kind of ten minutes and less than the cost of a latte and oftentimes free and so really that's kind of you can think of vini app as kind of the lovable or bolt or replit but built specifically for the web three stack right and so a lot of us are like oh i could use cloud code or i could use lovable or these platforms but what doesn't exist in those is that they don't have the kind of the cache or they don't have the yeah next kind of or or you're pulling it up here but we don't have the cache or the kind of the context available for all these web three rails like there's all these web three apis there's all these these wallet configurations all these token configurations and really that kind of just does not exist on lovable and replit so you'd have to kind of go acquire all those things and then kind of try to spring it all together and so we've been working on this kind of since november to kind of build out this fully functional app so really it's kind of text to tokenize mini app in seconds

37:47Speaker 0

and how does this differ from like nanar's mini app builder and like how what what exactly does it like bring to the table that makes it so simple to use

38:00Speaker 3

yeah totally i'll just jump in here one more time so the neynar is a is a fantastic platform like we we love forecast we love rish we love all those guys a few things that we do is that when you create a vini app it actually creates a wallet for your application

38:15Speaker 0

oh cool

38:16Speaker 3

so the the foundational element is that you get a wallet with your application and that's again something that repl dot it doesn't do lovable doesn't do bolt doesn't do and manar studio doesn't do from what i understand we also give the option to launch a clanker token so you launch a clanker token alongside your app development

38:33Speaker 0

we love that

38:34Speaker 3

the nice thing about that we we yeah we love it too we think that like those clanker rails are really fundamental to the whole web three stack if if you don't have these kind of web three primitives worked into the application you might as well just be kind of in web two land and so we wanna make sure that we have kinda have this full stack of available and so yeah it starts out with kind of the the wallet and the clinker we also use the latest ai for image generation so you get a full kind of iconography set and brand kit and then also with these applications we we just launched partnerships we'll kinda talk about it more but you can extend your vini app in addition to farcaster mini apps and the web we also have partnerships and kind of integrations with the world application now as well as still still of mini celo minibay which are kind of like in the tens of millions of people for daus and so those would be there's lots that we kind of do but those would kind of be the the few things nick i don't

39:33Speaker 0

know if

39:34Speaker 3

that would make sense

39:35Speaker 0

you can create something in vini app and it would be you could deploy it to world to the world mini apps as well that's amazing

39:44Speaker 3

so so how they do it right now is that they have a bit of like an app store graduation process but we will help the kind of full graduation process nick actually was working on he'll he'll show it at some point too but there's this wonderful app called farcnoid and farcnoid is now totally available on world so we'd love to kinda get back to that too

40:03Speaker 0

very cool

40:04Speaker 5

we applied we applied for approval on world and on cello so like the the application is is is done so as soon as it's approved it will be available and it's a beautiful thing about it it has like a a high score list and basically you compete against all these people it just shows like the the the the user is using the app on on minipay or on world but it the the high score is all united for everybody and of course like all the apps they work on the web two interface also so at the moment you you have to log in with the with the wallet but we are also working on adopting it so you could use the coinbase wallet provider and log in with the with the email address so then it will be totally open not only for web three people but also for web two yep and i i did also like i think two or three more apps that i'm applying for the world and for minipay also and once i figure out the the whole manual process then we will create like a easy to understand instructions for for builders how to add it and automate the process as much as we can

41:17Speaker 0

yeah that you gotta do it to be able to teach it

41:19Speaker 4

so there

41:20Speaker 5

you go true

41:21Speaker 0

right very like that is my that's my go to gotta be able to do it to teach it and did you create i think you created binney app you created uci that mini app with vini app correct nikolai

41:37Speaker 5

uchi uchi uchi

41:38Speaker 4

how it better uchi

41:40Speaker 2

uchi sorry

41:41Speaker 0

i know

41:41Speaker 2

i keep saying italian pronunciation

41:43Speaker 3

the italians oh yeah yeah

41:46Speaker 4

uchi

41:47Speaker 5

yeah it was totally created with the vini app few things what i had to configure externally but then i just feed the api keys to the vini app and it configured everything inside so basically i didn't touch a single line of code of the vini app itself

42:05Speaker 0

uchi alright i i know i'm i'm being the the american version but uchi has like taken over my timeline as well so love it love it it's nice to have the tipping back so i love that that we have this fun daily allowance now that we can tip out and everyone loves that so you created this fully with vini app that's amazing so very cool

42:37Speaker 5

yeah basically we try to come up with some challenging ideas and feed it into vini app and on the way we develop the the skills and develop the vini app itself if if it stops somewhere so that helps us to to make the whole overall system better

42:55Speaker 0

go ahead wanda let's see what did you wanna add there

42:58Speaker 3

you know i i just think i it's it's amazing to me just to be able to watch some of these apps and kind of we're obviously on the kind of the platform side and kind of are there to support the builders but it's amazing to see over kind of 800 apps being made over 10,000 view like everyone jokes about 37 users on farcaster but we've had over 10,000 unique users

43:19Speaker 0

800 apps or 37

43:21Speaker 4

users

43:22Speaker 0

this month right

43:23Speaker 3

that's right it's it's crazy right and and yeah we we've seen like there's over 10,000 unique users hundreds of thousands of views now on these applications and what's really cool about the vini is that when people launch tokens the purpose of a token in the application is to kind of do what davinci does or ahn nikolai met up with ahn in khan and they created this t rex jumper application and so

43:52Speaker 4

so fun

43:53Speaker 3

yeah one one of the cool things about that is that the the platform itself has this utility to say like if you die in the application then you come back alive using this this dino token right and so the thing is

44:04Speaker 2

that's how you're gonna say you die in real life

44:07Speaker 3

yeah that will be tough

44:08Speaker 4

that'll be a tough day that'll be a tough day yeah yeah hopefully hopefully not in the end yeah but but

44:14Speaker 3

but yeah people are playing it and they he he really had some nice game mechanics where it's kind of like as you play if you again if you die you can spend the dino token which is a clanker to kind of come back alive and so he was running this kind of initiative where every single day people would wake up and they say if you're at the top of leaderboard or top 10 on the leaderboard we would like airdrop people deno tokens so people were really kinda grinding it out to kind of play it more and more and kinda climb the leaderboard and what's interesting is that alongside that deno token and all that utility happening in the application the clancor tokens start to trade a lot and more and more people are like oh this is interesting and so he was able to generate fees that funded the whole development of the application and so one of the things that we experienced and even when you're using cloud code and cursor which vini is actually built on top of so a lot of people are like oh like i'll i'll start live coding myself i'm gonna use cloud code i'm gonna use codecs it's like all the power to you go ahead but just know that vini is actually built on these kind of platforms as well like we we take that same primitive and then we kinda layer up and so the nice thing is that those platforms are expensive they can be $200 a month plus and especially if you start using api calls outside of the kind of the max plans which are usually like kinda $200 plus cost can go into like thousands really quickly and so with vinnie he was able to kind of not have to pay the $200 a month and still get all of the clinker trading fees which then was able to kinda fully fund his whole application and he was also able with vinnie you can kinda withdraw some of the funds too so if you wanna take out those funds it's it's your wallet you can kinda do whatever you want

45:50Speaker 0

that's awesome and i'm i'm totally trying to find the the deno app and i'm gonna have to search it

45:55Speaker 3

oh it's called t rex t rex

45:57Speaker 0

yeah t rex

45:58Speaker 4

t yeah

45:58Speaker 3

t u dash rex i think

46:00Speaker 5

yeah and we had couple of apps what generated more than 1 eth in fees people withdrawing i think in total people withdrawn about like $1,617,000 dollars so far from the phase so so it's not only like fun building gaps but it can also generate some good revenue

46:21Speaker 0

mhmm yeah that's and and we love to see that too because you know we love to see the flanker integrations of course we love to see you know we're hoping to

46:34Speaker 0

it next next week we'll be announcing our first round of clanker ecosystem fund grant winners so we love to see anything that's incorporating clanker as well so very cool that you have it already built in gives you a great way to yeah to be able to afford all that infra and in a very simple integrated way adrienne what questions do you have for our guests

47:06Speaker 2

can you see why i love this app so much

47:08Speaker 0

yes totally

47:09Speaker 2

because i had seen and and chris i told you this like i and and it was like i was seeing vini app on my feet everywhere

47:16Speaker 0

mhmm yeah

47:16Speaker 2

and and i didn't know how it was different than like a nana app studio and there's so many i think there's so many apps that promise like oh you don't need to code you know build build here and i'm so skeptical right of of what of what can actually be built and and because i've tried some of them too and it's like you can kind of they don't always work you don't always get like an an actual functioning app or there's limitations and then yeah i was just so impressed with the how how completely like complete feature wise the apps that you were demoing the chess one was super cool like and and and the yeah

47:58Speaker 3

should i share my screen just quickly yeah just to kinda

48:01Speaker 0

yeah absolutely okay

48:02Speaker 4

yeah go

48:04Speaker 0

ahead and then we'll add you to the stage

48:09Speaker 2

come on and my guess you know and of course my guess is still like you know that it's still gonna be easier for you guys to probably create on vineyard because you understand what's possible or but but even still like you said just seeing what's possible it's like i was just kinda blown away and and and i think also i was telling you like oh why haven't i used it like a

48:35Speaker 3

i i'm showing up

48:36Speaker 2

think if you're yep you are

48:38Speaker 3

yep okay okay

48:38Speaker 2

i just people should use it like people should try that

48:41Speaker 0

so be careful chris because make sure you're yeah yes

48:44Speaker 3

you are sharing answering thank you

48:46Speaker 4

thank you thank you

48:49Speaker 3

yeah i was a little okay you know what adrienne like you're you're spot on what's what's super like you know what you're right in the sense that there's a big narrative in the ai space being like ai is just gonna take everyone's jobs and like the the developers are gonna be put out of work there is still some domain knowledge or actually a lot of domain knowledge of kind of just even the tools or like for instance like the a common one that people talk about in kind of the world is like apis and apis have gone through this kind of like huge huge like just lexicon wave of people being like oh like apis used to be kind of like kind of infringed and then it kind of became in vogue where it's like okay well if you're using an api your company is better or like you know what an api is and things like this and so just having these terminologies and kinda knowing the tools and kind of the services that are available allows you to use vini app better one thing about vini app that is nice is that we are always there to kinda support you and kind of say like hey look if you're looking to build something and you might need a tool or you're coming up against a roadblock you can reach out to us and over time we'll also kinda continue to iterate and kind of improve ai assistance to say not only kind of here's how you kinda build it but we can kind of use ai to kind of further support and kind of provide this kinda counseling or guidance in the application and well i'll i'll get into that in a little second but the the vini app itself looks like this you'll see here you kind of literally just come come here open on the sidebar or you can type in vini app and you'll see here under vini app this is also available at viniapp.xyz and it's honestly as simple as can be right you put in your app name and so you could say like let's just say bowling or

50:35Speaker 0

oh and then does it keep your apps that you've made i noticed the events one down there yep very cool

50:41Speaker 3

yeah yeah totally actually maybe we can make an app do you guys have an idea for an app name and i'll kinda just start spinning

50:46Speaker 4

it out

50:46Speaker 0

i don't i

50:47Speaker 2

have an app i have an i have an app i wanna build

50:50Speaker 3

okay okay

50:52Speaker 2

but now i don't know if

50:54Speaker 3

or or maybe don't make me do it because then then i'm only it but

51:00Speaker 2

well i mean i could can you make a you actually maybe this is maybe it's too complicated because but i wanna make a a tangram game

51:12Speaker 3

i don't know what tangram is

51:13Speaker 4

what tangrams are like this

51:16Speaker 2

they're like the seven shapes or maybe set they're like these pieces and then you kind of like there's different like designs you have to put that like put them in alright okay why don't we just

51:26Speaker 0

or how about just a pac man game

51:28Speaker 3

okay let's do pac man game

51:29Speaker 4

simple we'll keep it simple

51:32Speaker 0

and then adrienne can build her own thing

51:33Speaker 3

for a caster

51:35Speaker 2

i was playing tangrams last night i'm like oh this needs to be a mini app and i was where

51:40Speaker 3

they're bored i

51:40Speaker 2

was like oh i could do it oh gm forecaster branded one

51:44Speaker 3

yeah so what we're gonna do is we're just gonna do it here and we're gonna take an image here so this is gm forecaster and i'm gonna paste that image in just to kinda give the branding cool and then what else do we want allow for multiplayer

52:00Speaker 0

oh cool yep music we love a multiplayer

52:04Speaker 3

chris

52:04Speaker 0

i'm having eat denver flashbacks to the to the game with the four player i'm just gonna pac man

52:12Speaker 2

anyway i'm sure like even chris saying using postgres to listen and notify like that's

52:16Speaker 4

yeah

52:16Speaker 3

i i know that's i know that's a little advanced i'm just doing it i i yeah yeah have a share button to post too far

52:24Speaker 0

i think that's the thing like i i've built a couple games and a couple mini apps with neymar and i definitely i am not a coder i've never coded and there's a huge difference between me doing it and adrienne doing it like major difference because

52:42Speaker 3

okay okay

52:43Speaker 0

so as much as we wanna say like you're putting all the devs out of work no ai is not putting all the devs out of work definitely not

52:52Speaker 4

i i hear you and i

52:53Speaker 3

i would totally kind of avoid this but it's just that if we wanna make it a little spicy and kinda have the multiplayer the real time stuff

53:00Speaker 4

we just have

53:00Speaker 3

to add this thing one thing that we do on our side actually is that normally we kind of abstract out all of these things into little skills so we actually are built on a bunch of skills that we've kind of developed over the over the the period that we've been building this to continuously kind of say like okay if this is being added to these applications maybe we can kinda skillify this and then for the next applications it'll just kinda know how to do that and so it also uses kind of ai and natural language to be like oh if somebody's looking for real time then they want this kinda listen and notify so in our chess game this is something that i kinda had to go through where originally i was like okay making make a real time game and the first pass that vinyap did was a polling so basically what it would do is every five seconds it would just kinda go to the server and say like hey did somebody make a move or not but if you can think of like a chess game sometimes it's like a three minute game or a five minute game and people start to want to move really quickly and so if you're doing this polling every ten seconds people are like oh wait i made a move i'm not seeing the move on the screen so this is kinda why we learned about this so just for kinda time's sake i'll kinda hit the create app button and we're just gonna gonna basically kinda watch it go so you're gonna see the lfg it's very hyped up and you basically kinda get into the dashboard of this kind of vini app build where we it's gonna start to kind of it's now creating the application it's creating the repository it's creating the hosting and it's gonna come back for with some kind of questions really quickly so it says perfect i can see maybe i'll zoom in here actually maybe it's easier to read yeah perfect i can see the gm forecaster blog clearly that vibrant purple blue palette with warren jacksons and playful character energy is a great starting point i agree before we build i i've got some clarifying questions to make sure we nail this what kind of pac man experience classic arcade game quick mobile style thirty to two minutes or something that blends both so what do you guys think for that

54:56Speaker 0

i'd say mobile style yeah

54:59Speaker 3

k mobile

55:00Speaker 0

style work best for this yeah

55:02Speaker 3

k perfect okay how does multiplayer work real time co op multiple players in the same game at once or turn based leaderboard racing

55:11Speaker 0

i'll let you make that decision

55:13Speaker 3

i think the real time co op sounds cool right okay sounds great with max scores we'll do both there vibe and design yeah definitely yeah gym forecast for for sure

55:28Speaker 4

through and through

55:32Speaker 3

how does players customize with the gm pac man token when they use and hold the tokens for cosmetic only

55:40Speaker 2

because the app the app asking what would the token do

55:42Speaker 0

what would the token do

55:44Speaker 3

that's right yeah so it says exactly what does the token do it's like okay cosmetic only and we'll do that and then we'll do power power ups and special abilities as well

55:52Speaker 0

yeah love that

55:54Speaker 3

and yeah what would the token do

55:56Speaker 5

we we spent some time developing the the utility talking utility skill so it's always ask for this and tries to to

56:04Speaker 0

we have a sound for that should you need it adrienne if you wanna hit that real quick

56:10Speaker 4

what would the token what would the token do what would the token do okay

56:16Speaker 5

you have a week for it

56:17Speaker 4

if you wanna add that to

56:18Speaker 0

viniabes because this is yeah

56:20Speaker 4

we'll we'll add that in as a point too

56:23Speaker 3

fun fact that in social and shareable when game is over mention users

56:30Speaker 0

love it

56:31Speaker 3

okay so i think we're good to go and it's gonna start and so really it's just gonna start to kinda move like crazy right now it's gonna start to spin up the github repo it's gonna create a database it's gonna create the the brand kit in a moment it will ask us about the the token creation so just wanna make sure that we have the kinda the token name correctly the token description it's also gonna use that kind of brand kit in the image generation to kind of create the clinker configuration everything like that cool and while this is kind of running you can actually kind of go through the you'll you'll see kinda says it's like reviewing and it kinda takes a second but you'll see here we can kinda go through everything that's gonna happen so or the dashboard that's available in the vini app and so vini has these kind of very nice tabs to kind of you're you're kind of the manager of the application now so you're kind of like this benevolent dictator to say like hey i'm gonna control how things are set up and how things work

57:25Speaker 0

we love benevolent dictators we love that

57:29Speaker 4

totally right totally totally and so what's cool about vini

57:32Speaker 3

is that as it's building you can kinda look into things like analytics so we actually bring your own analytics and you'll kinda see that on the the activity tab as that shows up so it's going to show your your opens the unique users forecaster and base as well as other platforms split out by seven days fourteen days thirty days and ninety days so if you're talking to investors for some reason or if you're talking to or if you're kind of that benevolent dictator and you're like okay i really wanna push the analytics of my platform better you at least have some data to kinda come back on it's gonna say kinda how is this working and so we bring our own analytics and that's usually what we use the most but if you're keen you can use google analytics analytics as well which kind of can give some geographic stuff and you kinda get that whole g google analytics analytics suite with it down here this is where we get into the the the beauty of kind of the different platforms so by default farcaster and base are set up we now have this kind of world configuration we actually haven't added it yet but we fully support minipay and celo which has 15,000,000 active wallets on it so that's coming up here soon and then we have telegram support as well down here you have the whole mini app

58:44Speaker 0

telegram has been like that's a so i hate telegram but i've heard because i have ptsd but i've heard that many apps on telegram are massive like there's incredible amount of usage so that's really cool to have that built in as well

59:02Speaker 3

not that yeah totally right and so we're just gonna say so this is kinda that token just saying gm pac man introducing gm pac man the token powering this app blah blah blah it it would kind of looks up the the name sometimes so we

59:18Speaker 0

love gm pac man that's great

59:20Speaker 3

that's right right and then we're gonna go deploy token and and so this is initializing the the clanker build i'm just gonna pay for the fees here

59:29Speaker 4

and so now we have launched it

59:31Speaker 5

yeah yeah so we also

59:33Speaker 0

and does it so it just launches the token for you like just by doing that you don't have to do anything else okay

59:41Speaker 3

totally that's all totally done you now have the the clanker right here should have the image generator

59:47Speaker 4

there might be some with the image actually

59:49Speaker 3

i'll talk about it but then yeah down here we have the transactional base scan cool and everything like that is going

59:57Speaker 0

well you can even go in back in and change the image if you needed to as well yeah

60:02Speaker 3

yeah i'm totally not world i'm not sure you know what yeah i'll have to take a look in the image the image almost yeah anyway so yeah you'll see it's kinda starting to create the directory everything like like that here we do the manifest cell phone signature so normally again when if you're making a mini app you have to go in and figure out what this mani manifest is it's like a json file that you have to do the assigning and coming back and forth here you can see you kinda just click it you go approve and done it's it's also pretty crazy

60:31Speaker 5

we already booked a a vercel url which chris just signed so that this url is already assigned to the set and it will be deployed to this app

60:45Speaker 5

too yeah and it's already and remind me who's manages

60:49Speaker 2

how does the payment work like who's paying for the vercel hosting

60:54Speaker 5

and at the moment it's us

60:56Speaker 2

uh-huh

60:57Speaker 5

yeah we need to figure out how to charge for that i mean we charge for development and hoping that that covers all the costs so far mhmm but at some point we will have to figure that out

61:10Speaker 2

yeah and is your development charge remini is it token based like is it pay for pay per use

61:17Speaker 3

yeah it's all so so generally in terms of like how this business model works is exactly as you're saying adrienne it's you have the kind of the hosting and the database fees as well as the storage fees you have like images the data in the database that's processed for the application and then hosting for someone like vercel right now just like you guys clicked on clancor fees we clicked on some of the clancor fees as well and and then we also have been working directly with our our partners at the database providers and things like that we get some some grants for the early builds

61:49Speaker 4

awesome and

61:50Speaker 3

then and then over time basically we continue to kinda hope to grow the ecosystem and what we'll probably do is some sort of like may maybe some sort of like small monthly fee after it's going for a while but so far what we're really keen on is kind of just making sure that people are getting their apps going and building and the the the benefit of the kind of the token trading fee so far has been able to kind of supplement some of the development fees

62:18Speaker 2

got it

62:18Speaker 3

so so that will kinda kind of keep building for a little bit

62:21Speaker 0

uci is gonna keep you going for

62:24Speaker 4

a while

62:24Speaker 3

definitely not uci

62:26Speaker 0

u c but but

62:27Speaker 4

we love u c we love u c yeah yeah yeah

62:30Speaker 2

and then yeah warby knows how to pronounce u c by the way

62:33Speaker 0

does it warby

62:35Speaker 2

warby knows if this is still been in can you talk a little bit about kind of why you chose clanker and how that's been and kind of i i know you talked about kind of like that i know there's a million things if you're launching a clanker on clanker world you can customize but you kinda do the default options for people i think they make that pretty easy

62:52Speaker 3

yeah one you know what one thing that i think the narrative of clanker it's it's a lot to a lot of things adrienne and i were talking about it just the

63:00Speaker 4

other day is that one

63:02Speaker 3

of the things with blockchain is that blockchain is such a flexible primitive that it can be used for anything and so we've kind of gone through a couple waves in the web three space one of the most notable ones was nfts and what nfts are is it's kinda like putting a box on the the smart contracts to say like okay if you're getting an nft you're getting a an audited smart contract that you know that is useful specifically for collecting unique images or getting a collection of a certain number of images and it has all these kind of like traits and things like that and by doing that the human mind basically can abstract all the complexity of all of the things that a smart contract can do and say okay i now know that an nft does this it's the same thing that mcdonald's does with a burger where you can go to a grocery store and get all of the things from the grocery store but mcdonald's has kind of crafted this burger to be a very kind of well known and labeled thing so you know when you go to mcdonald's you always get this type of food and so from our perspective and i think most people's perspective is that clanker did the exact same thing for launching tokens they took the the complexity of the the kind of token launches and the kind of the security holes and everything like that and they said okay we're gonna put a really nice api wrapper on it and we're gonna put it directly into the forecaster feed so that anyone can launch a token and that's a really special thing because it what it does it kind of reduces the risk of launching a token and it says okay these are the this is kind of the new sandbox that you can play on you have this huge sandbox but we're gonna carve out our little corner over here and we're gonna say this is the clanker sandbox and it's kind of you know what you're gonna get every time you come to a clanker and so with vini it gave us a lot of confidence to say hey look if we're gonna use doing anything in the token world which frankly nobody is familiar with the token world and any type of innovation everyone has to kind of get accustomed and educated in somehow so if you're gonna do that you need some sort of kind of guardrails to say look there's a lot of things that we're not doing that we could do but for the time being we need some sort of primitive that everyone can kinda be comfortable with so that we can use that as kind of foundational element building block and so we chose clanker for that exact reason where it had a really nice api it was very social and it's very much embedded in the kind of forecast ecosystem and in the feed and it was something that if we launched with a clancor nobody's looking at it being like oh like i don't know what a clancor is or they don't have all these kinda these concerns they just go oh it's clancor got you let's go with that and so that's been extremely useful for us as a core primitive of the the vini app building

65:38Speaker 0

yeah somebody said recently that farcaster needed a token launcher and i'm like we have one it's called clanker i wonder who said that anyway i love that

65:51Speaker 3

so you'll see and i

65:52Speaker 0

just i just went in you know full disclosure i just went and bought some as well so full disclosure nfa dyor all the things

66:02Speaker 3

that's right that's right and so what's what's really cool about

66:05Speaker 0

it back then

66:06Speaker 3

yeah what's really cool about it is that you'll see here the project fee revenue right it's it's now collected $50 worth of revenue

66:13Speaker 0

awesome

66:13Speaker 3

and so those fees will flow directly into the app wallet balance i guess maybe when i refresh the page here and what's nice about that is that any kind of building fees or any enhancements to this application first start using those fees right and so you can start to do all sorts of things with this app pacman application with a few dollars and so that's awesome this application has this kind of like this new gm pacman token and all of these kind of different functionalities can be added and it also makes it more collaborative in the sense that the people that have kind of picked up the token are a little bit more interested to say like hey can we add this feature or this feature and it all kind of becomes this like really nice grassroots piece and build right from this call basically

66:57Speaker 0

awesome

66:59Speaker 3

just as it kinda keeps building a couple other things that are really really cool here so yeah you can kinda see it kinda keeps going but not only do we have this tab with the kind of the wallet and you can also top it up and things like that so if you want to add $5 to the wallet it's all embedded directly into the farcaster so this is one reason that we even choose to build on farcaster and why farcaster is such a good ecosystem for new age builders and and builders across the world really

67:25Speaker 0

are you hearing this twitter are you are you paying attention

67:28Speaker 3

they should right it's it's really it's it's amazing it's honestly amazing right it's not like it's not some sort of secret sauce it's just it's just better right it just it does things on these web three rails that are historically really really tricky right and so for instance this connects directly to our wallet and you can say okay fund this wallet for $5 and if i go confirm i'll just kinda send $5 right here you you can see here now that the the app wallet has been topped up and i'll just kinda reload the page here

67:56Speaker 0

awesome

67:57Speaker 3

just go back to that application go to that funding and you'll see here there's that $5 here and then actually if we go to the build tab you'll see $5 up here at the top and you can kind of like update it at any point in time other the the last thing i kinda wanna talk about before maybe the application kinda keeps building is that we have also have notifications built in and so the notifications are super useful because historically i've launched apps on the ios app store before and it's problematic because the you have to kinda go through this most of the time people create native applications primarily because of notifications like it's it's really the kind of the key differentiator of a web application versus notifications or versus the the kinda ios apps was that you were getting these kind of push notification and all this ability but because farcaster is on the ios store you can then get notifications directly from farcaster for all of your vin app applications and so you really get so much along this kind of flow of just using vini app to build an application

69:00Speaker 0

that's awesome

69:01Speaker 5

so the vini app itself will try to figure out what are the best moments to send notification and will build it in automatically but you also have an option to schedule your own notifications if you want to send like a daily gm or you want to send a one off notification to all the subscribers and only announcing some event you you you can do it through this interface what chris is showing here

69:24Speaker 1

mhmm

69:25Speaker 0

very cool and that's the events app that you're showing right now very cool

69:29Speaker 3

yeah exactly

69:30Speaker 4

so so i

69:30Speaker 0

which we've been wanting i've been wanting that so that's great i love it

69:35Speaker 3

you know what's cool about this events app is that just kinda has that other one build is that so you can see actually what we also do is that we we credit accounts and so basically when you i was making updates to this like literally just before we were talking here and one thing that's nice about these accounts is that basically we're not gonna stop your build so basically when you put in a prompt we're gonna finish that prompt and then we'll go into the negative a little bit even just to make sure that you get your build finished and then you we can kinda top it up over time and one cool thing about this this app here is that once it's built you see kind of you have these like quick buttons up here to say open in forecaster open on the web preview tool embed tool these are both the kind of

70:13Speaker 0

very cool

70:14Speaker 3

native building kind of tools by forecaster but when you click here you get this kind of full application here this is this events tracking application and the the real kinda secret sauce that i love about this events tracking application is the same thing that clanker did is that all of the kind of commentary on the feed that is date related can automatically be added into the events mini app just by kind of going like i won't do it here but you kinda go hashtag events and then you just say add and it's gonna look at the original post here it's gonna extract the date information as well as the cover photo and it's gonna create an event that can then be rsvp to directly in the feed via the i

70:55Speaker 0

keep forgetting to do that i need to do that with all our with all our shows because it's great totally great feature very cool

71:03Speaker 3

this one can be a reply or an original post as well which is really

71:06Speaker 2

so we can just add in like when we announce our shows we just add in events hashtag events ad

71:11Speaker 3

yeah that's all you do just if if you have the detail some somewhere the details have to come in so either it's in the original post and the the reply will catch from the original post or you can create the original post with all the details or or however you want really

71:25Speaker 0

very cool

71:27Speaker 3

what else

71:28Speaker 0

very right

71:28Speaker 4

like what else what else

71:32Speaker 3

should we

71:34Speaker 0

show how are we doing

71:35Speaker 4

yep still building we are

71:36Speaker 0

we are we are

71:37Speaker 5

we're always optimizing this build part but it's i mean especially the initial build it it it it has a lot on its work list like it does the checking

71:48Speaker 5

and all the like all the skills that we could find we optimize over time and i just did like a a a big optimization but for enhancements because before that even the small enhancement would take like maybe ten minutes i just checked and after the the optimizations now it takes maybe two three minutes if it's just something small

72:09Speaker 0

isn't it funny we're getting so like we're we're getting needy like we want it we want it immediately yeah

72:18Speaker 5

like what do you mean fifteen minutes hours yeah

72:22Speaker 0

yeah used to take hours and now it's taking minutes and even that's too long for us which is really funny

72:30Speaker 4

today's today's globe was italy

72:33Speaker 0

oh oh perfect love it

72:35Speaker 3

yeah

72:36Speaker 2

fuji so this is

72:37Speaker 3

a yeah this is another this is another vidi app which is a globe guessing game where you it's you basically pick a a country so my first one was spain and then it said i'm 1,300 kilometers away from spain so then i guess cyprus a little bit further than czech republic but this is a cool one and then there's also a learning one where you can kinda say i want to learn the countries of africa or asia or middle east or islands so you can go to africa and then same type of game but it basically this one says okay like if you type like ghana it's like okay you're this far away from ghana so ethiopia

73:14Speaker 0

very cool

73:16Speaker 3

exactly exactly and kind of and then after a certain number you got hints and stuff like this and so it's really you know what vini is so flexible in the sense that like there's just so many applications obviously we can't go through them all today but it's really powerful to kinda go from this this sentence all the way to a fully functional web application mini app application with a clinker

73:36Speaker 0

i love it absolutely love it so cool

73:42Speaker 2

who do you see as like kind of like who's the target person who should be using vini app and if there's people who want to try vini app but feel like if they're not as technical you guys are around to support like

73:58Speaker 3

yeah yeah definitely around to support all the time you know we also we're also keen on kind of like helping people become community supporters themselves so maybe there's some sort of initiative that we can kinda carry it to say like the like the vini app kind of community members or something like that where you can kind of like levels to your skill set right so because there's a i remember kinda getting into the job market a long time people are always like oh find a mentor find a mentor and there's kinda two types of mentors there's there's the mentor that's kinda made it in life they're kinda sitting on their yacht or they're in kind of palm springs being like feet up kinda sipping mimosas all day being like i made it like i know i have all the knowledge like i'm i'm the best i can be but the the real best mentors are kind of the the person that's kinda like one or two steps ahead of you in life where you're like okay i want to level up i wanna make that application i've never made an application and there's somebody that kinda just went through and they made their like they're on their third app that they've made and they're like oh shoot like i i know exactly what you're going through right now like i can empathize with you i can i can teach you these are the couple of things that i learned to kinda go from level one to level three and so that type of style is kind of we we can imagine kind of vinnie building out a community we'll say like hey like all of these people it's literally like the 99% of people that don't code doing a huge transition kind of education process just to help people get their first build out and to your point earlier naanish it's it's really learning by doing is the only way to learn really it's like you you can never really feel something or kind of get better at something unless you try and kind of keep it simple and

75:35Speaker 4

so you have

75:35Speaker 0

to just try it just just do it

75:37Speaker 2

full circle first full circle chris to your introduction when you're like when i was learning to code and there was so much toil and i was like and i built this so no one has to go through with that it's kinda like you kinda have to go through it everyone yeah those shortcuts totally obviously i think it's great that like you do wanna make things easier but in some ways like the i've actually written a lot about this it's like one of the reasons why building can be so gratifying is because like you go through so much pain like create things like it's that's like a feature not a bug

76:08Speaker 3

yeah yeah and what pain that's the thing right we we start avoiding the pain and then it's like it gets to the point sometimes where it's like people come to you and they're like oh i got this crazy bug like you're you're gonna hate like you're gonna hate this and you're like you know what that was like my last tuesday like that's that's not a big deal like it gets to the point where the things that people throw at you are kind of like you know what it's you basically like things don't get easier you kinda just get a little bit better and better

76:37Speaker 4

and i

76:38Speaker 0

really love this from arjan arjan we need you to make a poetry mini app there we go

76:44Speaker 3

yeah that's what we

76:45Speaker 2

honestly i think we can just like call it we'd succeeded for today we inspired people to build

76:51Speaker 0

yeah i hope everyone's everyone go build something like i would love to see what you build and we will we'll share it of course you know we will so if you build something cool we will share it so let us know this is so cool i love that you guys have created this this is amazing and i love what you've been building in terms of the the mini apps that you guys have created also

77:21Speaker 0

this i love that you you're right in there with the with the disco ball i appreciate it amazing so yeah very cool oh arjan made a poetry snap so very cool now you need a mini app created on mini app

77:41Speaker 3

actually to that point actually one nice thing

77:42Speaker 5

is that a lot of

77:43Speaker 3

our mini apps even the the events one is a good example the uchi one is another good example where the the mini app can provide the the database and it can provide the the hosting that can be used in a snap application which is really nice cool and so you can kinda go create the the the mini app as this kinda like heavier infrastructure build and then you can have the the snap created alongside so it's really nice kinda partnership

78:07Speaker 0

oh very cool that's awesome and we did see

78:11Speaker 5

that we we won the the farcone rome competitor snap competition with yeah with the vinyap strait of hormuz

78:22Speaker 4

yes yeah

78:24Speaker 3

mine sweeper mine sweeper

78:25Speaker 0

the mine sweeper i love it i loved it it was so good

78:28Speaker 3

one one last thing to mention too is that so farcaster batches is coming up and i think what we might be doing is running like a vini competition for maybe four days where you can build a a a vini app and one nice thing about it is that we can kind of have a cool style of of a leaderboard where in addition to kinda just having judging on the applications what we can use is the analytics we can use the the the unique users the number of views on the application and then also the token price of the application to help judge and kinda filter the applications so anyone can kinda build a vini app we're thinking about something like above point six nanr score kinda gets maybe a free build or a couple free builds so you can kinda get in there get something out and then we'll have a live leaderboard where people will be able to kinda track and kinda compare their success of the application during forecast or batches and then maybe on the fifth we can kinda do a bit of judgment

79:25Speaker 0

i love it that's great i didn't know you guys are doing that that's fantastic

79:28Speaker 4

we it's

79:28Speaker 3

it's in process it's in process yeah yeah you know we just don't know too

79:35Speaker 0

adrian's been really on the the ticker today she loves loves the tickers today yeah we didn't even mention that today june 1 to june 5 we're gonna have farcaster batches we're gonna be doing spaces on twitter slash x for that whole week at i think it's 1pm eastern every day if i've got the time correct and we're gonna have featuring builders featuring workshops so that's very cool i love that you guys are diving into that as well that's gonna be amazing so very cool so if you're thinking about building something maybe maybe hold off a couple weeks wait till wait till june 1

80:23Speaker 5

yeah practice and start practicing now

80:25Speaker 4

start practicing

80:25Speaker 0

yeah you might you might wanna wait but give

80:29Speaker 4

it to sean

80:30Speaker 0

yeah don't wait okay adrienne says don't wait

80:33Speaker 3

one one no

80:33Speaker 2

if you're trying to don't wait

80:35Speaker 3

oh go ahead go ahead

80:36Speaker 2

you just it is the more you build the easier it is to build true so if you wait that's

80:41Speaker 0

very true

80:41Speaker 2

going to be like oh i'm gonna save my idea until whatever june 1 and then it'll be harder so just build something now it becomes easier and then

80:50Speaker 0

and then build your next thing build build your next thing june 1 there you go

80:53Speaker 3

we also you know what we really also because what's really cool about farcaster and what's really cool about the wallet experience in clinker token is that it's shareable it's divisible and so if you want to build something you can kind of group up with a few people and kind of build things together and so you can kind of fund your vini like the vini app wallet or your kind of project wallet together and so the fees becomes like less than the cost of a latte it could be like a couple dollars each where like oh we got the whole application that's shareable with a brand kit all all good to go so that's a cool way to do it too

81:28Speaker 0

and yes to crypto i'm imagining the don draper meme with this i'm assuming is what you meant farcaster batches that's gonna be really fun so very cool adrienne anything that we missed that you wanted to ask personally about

81:47Speaker 2

no we're way we this was a long one

81:50Speaker 0

i know wow but it was awesome

81:52Speaker 2

thanks for your time i love it it was awesome yeah can't wait to hang up and go play pac man yeah

81:58Speaker 4

yeah we'll we'll share the link

81:59Speaker 3

when it's all done for sure

82:01Speaker 0

yeah amazing amazing thank you so much for joining us and thank you for just being amazing prolific builders on farcaster we love everything that you're building and it's been it was so cool to meet you nikolai and just see what you were up to and thank you so much for joining us today this has been incredible what anything else that we that we missed that you wanted to mention before we let you go

82:29Speaker 5

go to vignette x y z build something and if you have any questions or you need some help reach out to me or chris we will do our best to to help you we want to see more cool apps and snaps more users

82:45Speaker 3

yeah it's it's the best time ever for it it's it's honestly never been better so we we welcome everyone across the world from all walks of life to kind of build on forecasts or build apps

82:55Speaker 0

and this from our chat keep tip keep tipping uchi

82:59Speaker 4

uchi

83:00Speaker 0

uchi uchi thanks so much both of you it's been so great to have you here thanks for joining us on gm forecaster

83:07Speaker 3

today take care too

83:09Speaker 0

alright bye bye see you guys soon that was awesome

83:14Speaker 2

yeah

83:15Speaker 0

and everybody loved the demo that was great so go build some stuff share if you build anything from watching this let us know tag us so that we can try it out and maybe share it on the show

83:29Speaker 2

i'm gonna build something on vini app this week

83:31Speaker 0

are you

83:32Speaker 2

okay because i kinda wanted to see what the experience is and how it's

83:36Speaker 0

my idea just got built so

83:38Speaker 2

yeah well no but for me you know like from scratch without someone who knows what's happening and i did i had this idea last night of like i wanted to build this tangram game

83:47Speaker 0

yeah i wanna see you build that

83:49Speaker 2

which is hard because it's like it's positioning and you have to come up with like all the different challenges and solutions like it's not so much the game mechanics as much as like the the geometry and play of it all but i'm gonna see if vinnyap can one cool try to one shot it and see what happens alright

84:08Speaker 0

well make sure you you tag me so that i can make or tag warpy curate warpy amazing adrienne anything else before we call it here this has been a little bit of a long one but that was a great demo

84:25Speaker 2

i know you're not feeling well

84:26Speaker 0

so i know i'm really not i'm really not it's been torturous supposed to be a

84:30Speaker 4

can you

84:31Speaker 0

hear my voice it's no you sound great

84:33Speaker 4

oh that's good because i just do

84:35Speaker 0

not feel like i i i don't feel like it's coming across very well

84:40Speaker 2

not very well you sound great

84:42Speaker 0

okay

84:43Speaker 2

warpy got warpy's getting smarter every week and i'm love it so everybody go chat with warpy and have fun with him

84:51Speaker 0

and i love that you guys learned something today that's what we we love that we love we love the learners this has been amazing and thank you again chris and nikolai we appreciate you stopping by we will be back on thursday with gm farcaster but before that on wednesday evening gm in the pm 5pm make sure you pop by for a little tour of decentraland and the farcaster estate so that's gonna be really fun looking forward to that and until then everyone bye bye

85:35Speaker 1

thanks for joining us for this episode of gm farcaster and thank you to all our partners and hyper sub supporters bringing this episode to you follow the gm farcaster channel for all the latest updates and add our mini app on farcaster and the base app until next time bye bye
