stop reading this is not real and then this was really funny from justin on robinhood ceo's x account hacked probably fake meme coin crypto natives first time like yep we we knew we knew speaking of hacks this really sucks deploy from deployer over on twitter the banker bot x account has been compromised and is publishing fake airdrop links despite being secured with an on device passkey x nikita bier please remove the fake airdrop post and help us determine how this account was compromised even with a passkey and they are locked out from making the change so this is bad and it says we've detect unusual activity on your account and they're locked out and then this goes on either two things are happening in my opinion this is again from deployer one there's a critical security vulnerability in x backend systems that they haven't found or two it's an inside job why do i think this one we had a passkey on the account arguably one of the most secure 2fa mechanisms two this is the screen we got when trying to sign in to the banker to the bankerbot x account clicking the start button took us to a page to appeal a suspended account three the attackers were still able to sign into the account to push malicious links the latest being long after we were already locked out of the account why was it that the attackers had full access to log in and post but we are blocked by the screen why weren't the attackers blocked four we started getting five zero three service unavailable errors from the xapi but the attackers had full access to sign in and post if all sessions and keys lost access how did the attackers still have access there has been a string of high profile account takeovers recently including ceo of robinhood and even the spacex account and others who apparently also had mfa enabled on their x accounts i would love to see this blow up and for the x team to have accountability for this so stay tuned i don't know i think they're still locked out as of this morning but anything could have happened since then if anybody knows please drop that in the chat

absolutely first thanks for having me here you guys have a great show one of the things i'm about to mention is i've done hundreds of them before and it was not something i thought i would be enjoying but now it's like spaces and stuff like this feels like home you know what i mean but if me that failed the public speaking in college you'd see me now you know what i mean that's for sure truncated version of who i am and why the noises i make might be worth your time i've been in crypto since 2019 with a wallet doing a bunch of stuff on a casino back in the day came back about a year and a half later when i realized that nfts were becoming a thing like i still specifically have a tweet that i sent to my friend asking for some cash to buy some axies when they were still like $97 or something like that
axies i haven't heard anyone mention axes in a long time
i know but i was like listen there's there's stuff happening here like it's a whole thing and then we couldn't afford it and so on and so forth cut to it when it blew up and then it blew down and all that type of stuff anyways that got my attention into the sector because i used to trade stocks and stuff like that but that always closes on the weekend and crypto didn't i haven't traded a single crypto thing since i realized video games could be crypto basically because it just honestly it makes a lot of sense if you do it correctly which over the next couple of years i was lucky enough to work my way from mod up to a partnerships lead support lead like i wore too many hats at one of the bigger spaces in the place i am not there anymore but during my tenure there i had the absolute daily privilege of working with and signing like over 300 different like crypto games everything from star atlas down to the indies and stuff like that and honestly who cares the only reason i mentioned it is that a my whole thing is collab heavy and i haven't even gotten started on that and b i'm an information sponge and i had the opportunity to see a lot of the mistakes that they were making and how to avoid them and stuff like that not that i had a crystal ball back then just like i had the information flood i was lucky enough to see a lot of stuff anyways i did a bunch of stuff like that for a bit and then in february i went solo after i demystified github because it's just reddit for code like it's not as scary as i thought it was and moved a lot of my vibe coding projects over that i was working on over the last couple of years before that but pretty much everything that's going into my solo studio is stuff that i have built exclusively since february solo which is really cool and that's the truncated version of who i am i could go a whole lot more but we're not really here for that

yeah it's no big deal i'm just preparing myself for the occasional hiccup and that's all good fable boy is a tiny handheld for big fables and what it is is as close as i can get it to be a loving recreation of the beauty of nostalgic gaming but also as i will show off here shortly it's gonna be relatively very fun and big project hopefully but dive into the specific bits it is playable on any screen theoretically it should boot right up on your phone no problem none of it has any install this is not a dot exe you don't even have to sign in if you don't want to but what we've got here is a full ready to go system with all the nice beautiful ah let me unmute this site so i'll help too with all the nice beautiful chiptunes i love it fully functional buttons which you can play with your d pad and keyboard or edit them as much as you need but more importantly let's just grab herm's world for instance slot that in the back here and now you have got a full cartridge that you can play around and critically at any point you can also set top scores learn how to play post scores etcetera we'll get into the scores here in a second for some of the stuff that i've got coming up but let's go have some fun real quick just to show off kind of a

yeah tapping into that is definitely a big part of it and i i was not at all intending this like you can absolutely burn your own cartridges with an api that i've get built out that's just not turned on if you're technical minded you could just grab this stuff and start building yourself now if you want to but i've got a whole thing where you can just three sentences away from building one of these yourself and they all come with a leaderboard so like for community managers or anybody who has basically any project this is a tool ready to go to help you tap into not only my users but bring cool utility to your users and it writes itself essentially besides the hardware itself which i've demonstrated a little bit i have gotten a bunch of skins including collab skins with my buddy over at herms world i've got the farcaster skin which i've the farcaster skin i really do like the farcaster skin it's a lot of fun got some basic space invaders

the not officially but the way to think of it would be this is like season one essentially and then we'll got it expand into other stuff as we get there but like a note for people that are building games that don't look like they're green and black on the game boy type of a situation like if you have a three d title i bet you would fit on the gamecube more than nintendo 64 type of a situation you know what i mean other things worth mentioning in here that is pretty cool i've got a because this is all a little technical so one of the things i'm working on which i don't think is completely there yet is you can brew a game by just grabbing like a potion and throwing it into a cauldron so like this is a potion that says tennis this is one that says action games and this is one that says fantasy you could throw all those in a cauldron and instead of having to be a prompt wizard and stuff like that you can just have the wizard brew you up a game kind of a situation i've got the founders' den coming for early operators and stuff like that all of this to be very clear is fully optional for my studio i'm going to be i have been convinced to launch a token based on somebody who was kind enough to launch fable boy a banker token which i do not endorse i have not endorsed i took the money out of it and i donated that to child's play charity just so that i have nothing to do with it but when that went to the market cap that it did i was like okay let's get past the imposter syndrome and maybe consider doing this a little bit more seriously i was originally just going to launch a token for fableworks or fable boy but i am instead going to be launching one for the entire studio not here to talk a bunch about that happy to answer any questions about it to be clear but the only

and there there is a search bar too in case you're you're ever looking for stuff but i bring you here ada mentioned this is i have actually 65 repos and about 50 of those are probably viable so this isn't even like wow the whole thing and then the other reason i brought you here is just so that we can get to waypoint a little bit easier this is the other flagship that i'll be launching with between the two titles fable boy is absolutely more approachable but what waypoint is is an entire it is the world's first sci fi mmo that you can play with your agents hermit's world beat me to being the world's first ai mmo which is a little annoying but also congrats to eric but this is the world's first sci fi agentic mmo so there is an entire ship ai built into it that yes you can slap autopilot on with any of your agents you want to and if you don't wanna mess with any agents you can just play it through telegram bots if you want to and be like hey send my crew out to go get me loot and then it'll be like alright cool it'll be three hours and i come back and you get all the loot it is built from the ground up to be an idle game because again time is the only resource we cannot get back and we're all damn busy any game i think that asks you for even an hour of your time daily in order to be successful is dead it's just not gonna work you know what i mean at least not across demographics so it's built to be ignorable it's built to be idle but as with that said it's going to break on me a little bit that's fantastic i'll fix that

right no i was gonna i was just about to say i was like i don't wanna be the guy that's preaching to the choir you guys deal with us all the time it's fine the stuff is there people can look at it if they want to i would be a bad founder if i couldn't tell you about it without having it on the screen you know what i mean yeah so waypoint the reason i bring it up is that a it's there all the systems are free and claimable they come with a whole bunch of stuff built into it one of the things i was hoping to show off is that you can or you can i have built out what i call point of interest systems where the sun can look like whatever you need it to be up to a capybara or whatever but like you can go to those systems and learn about external projects like this is built heavily in three js which is why it's not there's no install on waypoint either so i built them out for their thirteenth anniversary i built them out like a a system for that and the plan is both with my personal rolodex that i've built over the last couple of years but also with connections i make through you guys and just other collabs is to build out what i'm calling a solar system as a service which is a bit cheeky because it is ssaas but whatever
and in that with the between the two tools of fable boy and waypoint what i have is a way to build a collab that should resonate with just about everybody that i come across that does not default to them having to work with me or even be remotely interested but what i wanted to build is a tool sets that i can believe like super deep in and they just enjoy building around and be able to bring for free value to whoever i'm working with one of those things which i'm not going to pull up right now but i'm happy to later today post the first bit i think for either during the launch or immediately after one of the early campaigns i'll be running is something called card hunt where you will be able to play both fable boy and through waypoint and find just while you're shooting down ships or exploring or trading or whatever whatever the life takes you in waypoint you will occasionally find these cool loot caches that you can open for free and sometimes in those loot caches you will find partner pricing or some bits for tokens or just loot for end game and very occasionally you will find these golden cartridges that you will be able to redeem on fable boy and you'll plug it into your thing and it'll make the fun sounds and then when it opens it will say you got this x prize and that'll probably be coupons for my token coming up or if i can get some really cool partnerships it'll be thanks to show off their bits etcetera but the idea is i i would feel bad and i wouldn't be able to sleep at night if i spent four years at the forefront of community management not to do that as the default in the stuff that i'm doing over here and i hope to show that off with the cart hunt and some of the other stuff i have because i'm open for collabs and ready to do a bunch but like i'm just gonna put i hate roadmaps i just wanna build all this stuff first and then if you choose to engage with it it's there because i have defended roadmaps that haven't come to the point of so many gray hairs which we've all seen in this space yeah so yes do you

no i i had a i had a word processor and then i started using the computer lab on campus for a little bit i didn't really use a computer i used a laptop in law school is when i first had my own laptop but we were taught we were taught with books legal research with books first before we were even allowed to use westlaw and lexisnexis which did exist at that point but we weren't even allowed to use it until we could use until you and and when i'd say so think about this now you're just asking chatt gpt for case law which it gets wrong a lot of the time so you do need to still know those early skills because you can get it wrong but you would go to a case and then there would be footnotes and then you go to the next case and the next case and it was it was crazy and you had to go around a library and find the books it was insane okay
