we're going back to twenty one minutes start it yeah are we gonna turn back time by the way does anyone get my hat and my mug

i mean is it cher's birthday no says turn back time

it well because we turned back the clocks so this is my cher one okay and my cher hat so i today was yeah honoring got it and also i have my halloween shirt that i just wanted to share because it's really cute

cute happy halloween

yeah a little little late but i didn't get to wear it last week so i'm

wearing a

little black man she's an all black she's an all black

and i don't how halloween

i actually we have a lot of links to go through today we have a lot of things happening a little bit you know a little bit here a little bit there there's been a lot going on in the in crypto news itself and then we have a lot of like reactions to balaji being on lot of fun things happening and we're gonna get rolling and then so you know retweet recast let people know you're watching if you're in here with us and we will be back on the other side of this forty one seconds

welcome to gm farcaster bringing you everything from breaking news to spicy memes to the deep lure shaping this vibrant digital community more than just a show gm farcaster is your digital third space where the community connects the stories unfold and the culture thrives whether you're a daily caster or just dropping by we've got the latest buzz to keep you plugged in so grab your coffee and let's dive in with your hosts nounish prof and adrienne for another episode of g m farcaster

gm farcaster it is monday november 2 and you are here with nounish prof and adrienne for let's say thirty minutes of forecaster news to start your day i'm gonna hold up my little share mug again and get a nice cute little image

because we're turning back time and hopefully all the folks everywhere else in the world that don't turn the clocks back are are around i was making sure everything was live and it does look like it is live so that's good because i'm not seeing a whole bunch of people in here yet so just wanna make sure

that's not showing up as live that might be why looks like x is doing some funky things today there we go now it's showing live

i see it

now i see it i wasn't seeing it in the top like thing so and like the circles that say live weren't showing so mhmm now they are

i'm seeing you on my screen looking down and i also see you on my phone and i feel like nathan fielder and amanda is it real watching it's real oh yeah it's israel

that's funny that's really funny alright we're gonna dive in watching me watching you fun watching watching all the things i'm just not seeing a lot of people in here live that's why i was just making sure we were good and hi terra cola we weren't following terra cola i was like how is that even possible and now we are alright let's roll we got some things to talk about so couple of big hacks happened last week crushing the market yay fun fun things for me to talk about in class today biggest hack ever six point i think it was 6.8 no 6,300,000,000 this from binance binance's initial investigation suggests that security incident may have involved a compromised devops engineer's laptop which which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions and it's been linked to our friends over in north korea yet again not really our friends lazarus group and massive hack that caused a crash market seems to be starting to recover i don't wanna you know knock on all the wood but hopefully oh now i mean i knocked on wood and the dog went crazy it was just me and then we also had polymarket had had an exploit too it was just me mookie relax relax so this was from polymarket we've identified and fixed an issue in packing our international platform polymarket.com one of our third party providers was compromised and we have referred this to relevant law enforcement anyone who has been impacted will be made whole out of an abundance of caution we have temporarily halted trading and are working on to bring the platform back online it was specifically related to just polymarket.com so any integrations in like rainbow wallet all the other wallets coinbase wallet those were fine so but i just feel like every day there's more and more of these so be careful out there folks and then we had this from zach xbt regarding the binance exploit that stolen funds were commingled at a certain address on thorchain and he was following what was going on in terms of how these were being dispersed so and that's how it was tracked to the dprk attackers so be safe out there folks it's getting it's getting a little crazy

this and x news this was funny

somebody people kept posting about grok bot and whether or not there had been a reset and then so any chance for a grok bot reset elon musk lots of people say their usage ran out really fast this week where people who never hit a 100% were hitting it in like four days all these things and then elon had responded the cost of serving grok bot was unsustainably high relative to revenue so of course somebody had to remind him that sir grok has money and that's the only reason i'm showing this because emily junior you just never stop and then he did he did say hold on he did respond to to warpee saying to give us a to say hello to us so there you go

okay well hi hi back hi

hi emily junior yeah there we go thank you gm warpee please tell the ladies i said hello and have a great week in your report i just thought that was funny that he literally replied to elon but but sir croc is funny that was funny clanker has been really turning it up a notch and getting creative on the feed so we still don't know exactly what's gonna be happening with clanker but they are installing for up vendor october since october did not work out so good october was not was down tober so hopefully we're gonna have an up up number we'll see but i do like that's

not the same ring i gotta say does not really work clank

does not really work and i didn't we are not streaming to clanker right now because we haven't like really talked to the new owners so we didn't wanna just like you know keep keep showing up without their permission so but they've been they've been killing it i'm just saying like they've been doing a lot over here and we haven't seen a lot of activity on the clanker front for a long time we've been it we've been the activity so it's kinda cool to see there's a lot going on here so alright clanker bring it yeah more morevember that's better morevember is but morevember could be more of not october and that would be bad we know what november november okay i i i mean you're trying that's all i'll say is you guys are trying you're trying hard this from bradq twenty nine seconds of farcaster what did you miss this weekend nikolai.eath released far analytics and people like the numbers and we're gonna show that in a little bit is cooking up fallacy finder pair it with v r n e's bias of the day and up your thinking game so it's a similar type of game i tried it out it's pretty good if you want some connection to network school and farcaster dylanb is a good follow as he's there and sharing bts and thoughts and then we are here today right now so there you go this also from bradq and this was really really helpful to a lot of folks got a lot of good positive feedback twenty nine seconds of balaji on gm farcaster what did you miss so it was a two point five hour marathon here is your twenty nine seconds plus and this was really good i so i am gonna read it but also what you can do is if something interests you in this cast ask warpee to send you to that part of the video just tag warpee in a reply to this and say hey or copy over whatever can you find this part in the video for me so i can look at it myself and he was doing a good job with that so so this a 2.5 very helpful very helpful it's a very helpful little bot he's very helpful two point five hour marathon here's your twenty nine seconds plus in one sentence crypto civilization not crypto anarchy anarchy is better than totalitarianism but it leaves you out in the forest with no home you need to resivilize which is basically civilization the farcaster meme is not building or trading but earning or earn and learn i balaji don't believe the world needs another social network another crypto trading app or even another uncensored anything we want a thank you culture not a blank you culture be polite and go find or go find another client there will be fcc broadcast standards american tv and radio standards for what can air on broadcast tv figuratively speaking and he did go into that pretty detailed including we pulled up the law and everything a lot of freedom of speech complaints are actually freedom of attack desires the equivalent of walking up to someone and yelling in their face it will be a community of communities among different network state communities a large but not infinite 10 others will be free to use the protocol hopefully open sourced to build their own communities he did talk about open sourcing more of the protocol and making things mit licensed so you can actually ask that if you wanna see that part of the video ask warpee 271 people were banned a 100 find it filed an appeal i think it was a little less than that 67% of those were reinstated by implication one seventy one did not appeal and 23 i think it's a little different i think it's 23% of those who appealed were not reinstated it's about that but the i think the numbers are a little lower than a 100 blocks and mute played a role in who was banned especially relative to number of followers the terms of service were always in place on fc and we did kinda go over those and brought those up on the screen but they weren't policed if you are coming in and going to enforce standards it doesn't matter how you do it people are going to complain we did it upfront and clear the history of fc is the arrival of friends dan's friends farmers flood foes finished hopefully phoenix this is in balaji's opinion and and his take on it in the latter phases above running fc was a thankless job a lot of good people left because of the attacks so what he meant by that was people who were running fc running farcaster having to deal with the haters the constant sort of criticism that sometimes is very thankless which is you know any consumer facing business people have learned in social media that the way to resolve a dispute is to get online frame it in the most incendiary terms possible rouse a big mob humiliate the other guy in submission and get clicks and engagement for it and we did talk about the engagement part of that and how that has become sometimes the reason for all the things fc will be about blue ocean things not red ocean things ai note blue ocean things represent unthemed uncontested market spaces where competition is irrelevant while red ocean things represent existing crowded industries where companies fight for market share and this was from balaji i don't care about d a u's so daily active users self improvement and learn and earn every day online opportunities to prove on chain your crypto credential credentials that will open new opportunities to earn take a proctored eth sat test pass receive an nft that proves you are ready for new opportunities to earn as an eth dev if you're interested in that that's the kind of thing i would definitely tag warpee in and say can you go to section when he talks about learn and earn because there was a long discussion about that and what that might look like you have a crypto resume and crypto credentials with growing opportunities to learn and earn self growth and self improvement and then he added the link to where the episode starts which is about thirty five minutes in and there are chapters on youtube and spotify etcetera we can find it any other thoughts on that

just for people who haven't listened to it it's a long one so queue it up where it end but it's definitely worth i think worth listening on our if you go to our website also if you go to the episode page you can see the whole transcript so if you wanna search for different keywords that'll you can also kinda jump to jump to specific talking points in the episode if you don't wanna listen to the whole thing so that has everything there

yep and it it was really interesting yeah this was a excellent summary so i really appreciate brad taking the time to do that really has been super helpful i think this really gave just great talking points and gives you a place to start if there's something in there that interests you to kinda dive in more alright moving on a few other comments on our interview with balaji this was from nikolai watching gm forecaster with balaji and it all clicks wanted to share two pieces i wrote last year that feel more relevant than ever five ways traditional social media enslaves you and how web three is failing to set your i think it's set yourself free unlocking human potential through social media so there's some pretty cool different different takes but related jonathan colton had a very long take on this as well balaji on gm farcaster was fire i encourage you to watch it seeing farcaster and rich and their teams passing the torch was fantastic transition transitional theater thank you nounish prof and adrienne for creating the space for this to happen balaji is a long form thinker watching him is like attending a graduate level lecture and i dig it he's a rare mix of intellectual vision and execution but instead of defaulting to founder speak he delivers a thesis and has the receipts he is also sometimes hard to follow so they might take a couple listens but really good one idea that stuck with me the wetware in our heads was crafted by somebody often on purpose tuned the way a marketing team tunes a jingle he described a whole class of ideas as academic theory shrunk down for phones and sharpened into blades for winning arguments i kept pulling on that thread if even our own thoughts were caught from somewhere else recombined and passed along then you feel like the author but you're also the carrier some ideas spread because they win fights others spread because they name something you already felt the human slop existed long before ai slop that became an essay written with claude and it says so upfront you didn't you didn't think that weapons and flashlights so very cool i like that this is making other people think about different like pulling on different threads like everyone's kinda taking different things from that conversation which i really loved this from chris crow created woke up feeling energized for farcaster and its multidimensions i got into crypto because i saw the potential for systems that could deliver on the global social justice that i was in effectually working to do something about when i was younger balaji was one of the people who enabled me to see the potential for systems that empower people that are more than more just and equitable and now i believe that tools and systems we are building here there's more real potential for what that to become more real the more i engage with the networks network school and the people drawn there the more this feels aligned with the energy i felt in early days of farcaster and we are moving closer to decentralization via a torturous and painful route a genuine plurality of spaces with different norms and cultures i'm more optimistic than i've ever been in a long time about this space and the place i can the place i can play in it i'm starting to think again about maybe we can just change the world well we'll see we shall see we shall see excuse me

and i do think there's four we we were talking a little bit before the show that like this wouldn't necessarily have been the direction i would have gone or i would have i wouldn't have done like a retro band and things like that personally however i kind of like some of the things that have come out of that sort of harsh approach in that we are seeing a lot more clients that are you know separately decentralized i think we see a lot more energy towards some of that and i think that's a good thing because most of the time when we've had other clients they really weren't on par and we're starting to see a lot more builders put in more energy to make them better so

right and not really differentiated enough

so people it was like kinda like yeah you could always start a new client but yeah you probably didn't have the same funding to compete and then what would be your point of view right so this kinda forces people to take a different point of view so it's yeah and and actually happy to see lots of clients yeah

yeah it's been great and like see them actually compete because competition is good so i think that stuff is a positive that's coming out of all this very bumpy ride this from dylanb i wouldn't be surprised if forecaster app becomes the network school app well yeah that's sort of where we're going here

and i think of the

the naming and i think the network school probably has their own internal stuff like we know yeah so then it just becomes more of like the official app for

that wouldn't be surprising i see i see a lot of people calling it n n s to differentiate the client which i don't think that's a bad idea either overnight the app gets thousands more users removes friction for new joiners essentially giving people a one click apply process to network school ai could auto evaluate the user's fit based on posting and task history and auto accept or deny them i'm bullish which is that's an interesting different flow that i hadn't thought about where what your sort of your resume ish that you're building on farcaster becomes your application to the network school or something like that mhmm and speaking of the network school just some more pictures of like this crazy building that they exist in is just wild to me like this hallway like i wanna go just hang out in that hallway just because and take selfies because it's just really freaking cool this from the farcaster intern one more set of winners for today thank you to everyone who submitted tested and engaged with the norbert elias and civility prize prizes are headed to each winner's farcaster wallet first prize was papa second place was zat weird aj i don't know if i'm saying that right there's a million different ways you could say that but i'm going with zat weird aj and honorable mention to top hb and leo x crane so very cool these things are starting to roll out i think we'll see more forecaster prizes coming up then just a note there was an announcement a while like a couple weeks ago about an upcoming snapchain upgrade and then that upgrade happened nodes were supposed to do an upgrade before october 22 there were some some chatter that something got missed where they have a regular group chat that that message wasn't shared in that group chat just due to the transition meonan was usually the one who did it we talked a little bit about this so then other updates have been shared in the group chat they are not necessarily shared publicly so this is the note from farcaster intern this was shared in a group chat for node runners that anyone can join the link to join is public we don't share security related updates publicly until giving node runners a chance to update to lessen the risk of security incidents for nodes so there was some discussion that something was shared in the group chat that wasn't shared publicly and that this was somehow nefarious but it was actually to protect the node runners yeah so that was why so just to clarify that

which is very common in the security industry which is when vulnerabilities are found you typically try to patch things up quietly before

you you say publicly hey there's a there's a place you can exploit these people you mean

that's what i mean

yeah that kinda makes sense that makes a lot of sense

and farcast has never been max decentralized and we know that so there always has been a level of human coordination required i mean yeah always between always dev calls and dev communities people so and there was there was never really any gatekeeping of who could be right so like if you were a good like if you had a well intentioned dev and wanted to help farcaster like you could come in without knowing anyone so yeah but it's not like with the transition of ownership it didn't immediately go to full decentralized where you know so there was still a level of coordination and we saw there was still human coordination so when humans transitioned over probably some things got missed you know sometimes things get rocky during transitions

yep very normal but also like yeah they're not trying to hide this information for nefarious reasons but actually protect the node runners yeah yeah yeah this is not it's not that it's not that big alright and then this also from farcaster maybe maybe it's gonna show i might have too many links today this might be the end of me nope that was the one we already did oh no this is to the farcaster clients i don't know why i had this out of order thank you to everyone who submitted tested and engaged with the $20.48 for farcaster clients prize huge shout out to chance taken vrn.eth and the ns community members who helped test and judge submissions prizes have been sent out to each winner's farcaster wallet the first place was to zero x hubby i don't know zero x a b h i i for cast yard i you know for those who might be new i often mess up names just to let you know don't take it personally

fault we can't hear we don't get pronunciations

no i'm guessing second place is to ramitphi for funk that's actually been very cool to see honorable mention cashless man for kite and aap for run f c x so very cool and you can check out the different clients in this thread so very cool congratulations everybody

this from symbiote was just funny this was literally a year ago today is an all time high for dau and we still have eight hours to go and season two feels like a lifetime ago that was like october i think it was twenty fifth hold on yeah are you sure i looked at the date now

where what

one year ago one year ago

scroll over the one year because sometimes

and you'll get 10/27/2025

what was what caused the all time high a year ago like what was happening clanker it was clanker

i bought clanker that was our all time high as well our all time high gm forecaster stream was when we had dan and dish on to announce

the clanker acquisition people i think it was like 15,000 people at one time no over 10,000

it was over a 10,000 concurrent but then we had way more to watch the replay yeah it was insane so yeah that was 10 27 20 25 people just take it in it's a year ago i know you don't believe me but it's true it's wild it's true so there you go yeah so thank you symbiote for surfacing that because that

making me feel old somehow even though it was

isn't that crazy though it's crazy it's absolutely crazy alright let me open up my builder group we've got a few more links to talk about dog ears yes like it it really is hard to like fathom that so that was pre so base app was still existing mhmm it wasn't even open to everyone yet it was still in beta this was about a month after a little over a month after base camp it was a month and a half before the system update which happened in december

the system update was a little bit of a breaking point that i don't think everybody fully expect grasps or expected but i don't even know if everybody even looking on looking back realizes that that was a watershed moment yeah because that didn't go the way everyone anticipated then dan and crew decide to sell farcaster rich that doesn't get announced till january that happened that didn't get fully transitioned till march we go through all of that and now it's already been sold to somebody else so that's in one year

wild and then everything that happened with jesse like that's crazy craziness craziness right alright moving on speaking of base vibe vibeathon o two is open a build competition for vibe coders on base one week to build a working app with a live url then a week of judging by a panel of judges applications close today monday november 2 twenty two utc i don't know what time that is but it's coming up it's probably i don't know 6pm 7pm something like

that yeah

somewhere in that ballpark it should be around there eastern yeah so you got about six hours to get this in 1,000 in prizes across the top five 50 sponsored clawed proceeds open to everyone so there you go if you are wanting to vibe code something in six hours you've got time still on base this from duckfacts and this is my background today super been super busy with the last few days with the halloween update for celebration hub and it's finally live send a couple gifts play with joy sender grab the commemorative nft and let's finally make this place feel nicer and more fun also yeah i've got a crazy amount of unread messages and notifications filled up i'm gonna deal with them after a quick nap don't take it personally happy halloween this is really fun and i ended up with a rare spooky spider and it's very cute which then adrienne because i know you're asking but what would these cards do and they actually depending on the rarity that you ended up with you got like a free gift you can send or five free gifts you can send i think my spider gives me like five free gifts i can send so nice that was pretty cool so very fun very good job duck facts a little bit more on that i think is in this next cast but it's moving slowly because my computer's like done today perks of halloween twenty twenty six card for celebration hub free gifts common three rare five epic 10 legendary 20 pictures drawings ai images whatever you'd like whatever you'd send anyway celebration hub pays the mint a profile badge a legendary golden pumpkin gets a golden one cute every card supports celebration hub thank you for being early there's also a poidh campaign so you could also if you do if you did a halloween celebration you could enter the poidh and possibly earn point $1.23 eth so there you go very cool love it love to see it this from our friend yerbearserker they have created an empire for base key the base friends base friends key base friend empire is live and chef our is cooking today it's like let's torture professor with every name every single one not only can you check out the trusted stats and numbers through our empire builder ui but he's also pulling the empire infra directly from the base friends of mini app as well leaderboards for key holders and stakers and more so very cool go check that out they're always cooking over there with empire builder nick speaking of cooking speaking of builders who cook a lot nikolaii has been cooking with some fire linux so we have a follower history which is kinda cool how about you captured follows minus unfollows from 10/24/2022 to today so that would be a day after my my birthday here on farcaster so very cool you can check out your far analytics and see your follower accounts etcetera where they've come where they've gone what their trajectory was also a whole bunch of other analytics on there so very cool very cool mini app go check that out

you can see when the auto follow list when i was on the auto follow list

yes you can you were on it earlier than i was and then i was finally added to like i think there were different levels of that auto follow list of like tweaked it yeah they did something they did some things but yeah that was good good time good time appreciate that thanks dan thanks dan appreciate you this from rocketman and this is pretty cool build something pretty epic reintroducing co build everyone is hacking their own hardware devices custom tvs spyware removal offline smart home doom on a vape i hadn't seen that one and it's only accelerating there's been no place that brings all the mods together filters the noise and helps you find the best ones for your devices until now get after it at co.build there's a mod for that so very cool some epic features listed as follows in no particular order find all the epic device hacks and hardware upgrades on x in one clean feed see which mods work and which don't work for other users for the device models you actually own so what works on yours browse the best mods for a given device and get notification when the new mods drop dive into a mod easily check and see what it does who built it feedback reports from owners who actually installed it browse hundreds of devices and their mods and request new devices or mods easily by the way this is this kinda stuff like oura ring like i i don't wanna pay annual for something i own like constantly so this is something i wanna like think about would love to hear any feedback from all builders in the room

what do you mean like you'll buy one but not have to pay for the service because you can hack in and

because otherwise it's like an annual service and so this is a way to like hack it to make it work without having to pay for the annual service fee which is pretty cool if only i had more hardware

and related joe bilal recreated sub vocal in nine minutes with one prompt for airpods pro three so this was announced by this crew over here about we've raised 1,300,000 from y c n a 4 capital so you never have to type or speak again typing is slow talking into your computer is awkward disagree but okay subvocal fixes both and then joe blau actually recreated it with just a prompt for his airpods pro three and was like hacking into his airpods pro three to do the same thing so and this was a pretty cool video so you guys

it was really cool so you'll see it's funny because in joe's comments and by the way we joe is a forecaster og and was very active which is why this is especially newsworthy to us personally

we like joe

but in his comments you know everyone's talking about why this is not sub vocal is that

what right sub vocal is that sub vocal yeah

and did you see how sub vocal works did you see i looked at it video

little bit and i didn't fully i understood that what he's doing is different from what they were doing because they're doing something but it's similar

isn't it similar but just imagine talking like talk without voice like you know like move your lips

without making a sound

i'm doing it you can't see if you're unless you put you can do that so what they trained in a model on

which is really good for a podcast she's moving your lips with no sound

but they trained a computer vision to look at all the way your face moves and figure out what words you're saying so it actually is kinda cool like if you wanna walk down the street and not look like you're like it's kind of or imagine being across the room with someone and i wanna whisper to you right and without other people hearing like it's like reading lips it's like oh that's what it is it's reading lips

it's reading lips but also the and then i mean for those who are hearing impaired that's incredibly useful as well

i think oh it'd be super useful so reading lips but but doing it just based on pure muscle movement and you could they did it so subtly like you don't have to be like fully enunciating like just these micro movements actually pulling out so what joe joe's demo he just what i thought was really interested forget about like oh it's not the same thing yeah of course it's not the same thing he didn't spend the money to actually fully train a model that's where the right a lot of the expense goes but if you're just like an like a curious person wanna know like how would you even do that he does break down in a very easily just to show you how it does like how the training works so like he showed seven were like four words and he just says it a lot and you can see on his screen what that looks like how the computer sees it how your mouth is moving not the sound you're making that it's a pattern and some of them are different and then when you say the word later it'll tell you okay this is a 60% chance you're saying the word yes over no or something like that

he trained he said them seven times not 7,000 times so obviously this of course it's not the same but it is just so cool just in terms of like learning how the ai like what ai training is about and that i mean like the what the accessibility of someone to be able to

bring things

down like there's no right yeah it's just it was really cool so well done joe

very well done yeah and and also like going back to co build rock command similar like thinking out there's a lot of people doing these types of things and like hacking and and sort of you know all those kinds of and they always have been but you can do it so much easier now with ai how do you feel then about i think that's interesting

yeah how do you feel if these hardware companies say this is against terms of service if you and even though may open so there's maybe there's it's open so technically you can but let's say they say it's against our terms of service and they shut you off they could feel about that

they could i mean and that's very because if their revenue model is the subscription i would think they probably are gonna do that but on the other hand

like you're you know that's kinda like crazy like are you a hardware company or are you a software company and that comes down to you know this is the printer question right the printers doesn't doesn't make money anymore the printer used to be expensive mhmm if you wanted to buy a printer very very expensive then the printers got really cheap because you had to keep buying ink so the ink was the product not no longer the printer and that's kind of a lot of hardware where the hardware is no longer the product it's a subscription so it kinda depends on what that product is and how much you're you know paying for it in my opinion like if it's if the hardware is cheap because the subscription is the product then sure like i agree that shouldn't be the situation but also you know lock your thing down if you don't want people hacking it there you go

wise word wise words professor

there you go lock it down if you don't if you don't want people hacking it but also i think some of these things like airpods the stuff that he's doing is it's built in like he's not really hacking it per se he's taking something that's already built into the hardware and using it in a different manner so in a in a manner that's actually it's been created to do this it's just not usually done used there's a lot of things like that it's a lot of things that are built into our hardware that we don't use because you know there's just a ton of features that just don't get used at all

right because who has the time like this has always been there but who has the time to go read the docs on your airpods and why would you right until now you can have your agent

right exactly

it's like it's great

yeah exactly alright few more things we have a couple we've got new clients popping out all the time now and there's a couple more that got highlighted here heycast this is by carlos help me test heycast a new client i built for farcaster think core plus plus feedback welcome mini app works here too so i like the ones that where they're adding a mini app on the main client i think that's smart gives you another option without having to leave the main client but also if you decide you like it better then you might want to switch over so i think it's almost like a good test run and then we have this from nickysap juke now runs on a self hosted hyper snap node so that's pretty cool and i think he also launched subscription option that gives you some additional features that just helps support the hosting of the hypersnap node so that was creative and then we have this from ramitphi ramitphi just did a cohort based analysis of farcaster social how things have been moving since october 15 at the network level and for each client feel free to check it out at graph.funk phunk,.social people are trying out other clients this was ten days ago so this was even more so now is my guess warpcast or farcaster went from 97 of actions to 79 firefly went from point three to 7.2 unnamed app keys went from point one to 6.7 so my guess is this might be there might be even less people using firefly more people using other things more unnamed app keys etcetera etcetera so there's probably a lot more variety now since ten days ago but you can check it out there

yeah it's been fun to see fun to see people building this from genuinejack who also has been building he built selfcaster where you could just launch your own little client this from genuinejack i saw some ai influencer post these claude instructions the other day and added them myself and it's genuinely pretty good you're my adviser not my assistant your job is accuracy not agreement follow these rules in every reply and it goes on to i'm just gonna read like the basic ones and you can look at the details do not open with agreement or praise rate your confidence on key claims never use filler praise like great question absolutely definitely so apparently genuinejack does not feel the need to be glazed when i'm wrong use this use this structure which is pretty cool i disagree because reason here's what i do instead the risk of your approach is specific downside lead with the uncomfortable truth if there's something i don't wanna hear put it in the first line not paragraph three no warm up paragraphs start with the most useful thing you can say if i push back hold your position unless i give you new facts or claim or your claim was tagged guessing but i really think is not new information so very cool i like this kind of approach of yeah little bit you know you can probably get better results than the full on glazing although you know i don't mind being praised it just might be me but you know it can get oops it can get dilute

what you're trying to get done yeah

he can get excessive and he can lose like the you know the real the real meat

in the in the phrasing this from on which is pretty funny looking forward to conning at devcon how people walk at conferences with people just like randomly turning around right it's really funny video just bumping into you backpack getting smashed in your face just walking yeah walking right into you turning around because they realized they went the wrong way yeah hand shaking just to crush your body things like that so just funny very funny be careful out there at devcon we've got some other folks heading to devcon this week nikolaii has been showing his his travels which has been really fun and i think this is the mumbai airport i believe but i'm not positive so i was trying to get confirmation on where he was and i don't think he yeah bangkok sorry was a bangkok airport so kinda cool like looks pretty cool for an airport like that was i was like that's pretty pretty cool

the subway airport by the way is beautiful is it really did it in like twenty twenty thirteen maybe 2011 2012 2013 i don't know and because i i i think i told you i used to travel to mumbai for work annually and the first time i went was 2011

that's right

2012 and it was in the old airport and then later i remember they were in the middle of redoing it and it is like i remember going the first time once they'd redone it i'm like this is so much more impressive and wonderful and modern than any new york city airport though new york city now they've updated gordia

they've updated the gordia hell while they were doing it horrible it is nice now and they're in the process of updating jfk now which please try to avoid us during

that is being that's really needed though

but yeah yes

i was so impressed with laguardia the first time i went and like sat in front of like that water feature thing i was like woah like this is because i had like a long layover or something and i'm like like this is lovely this is keeping me nice and calm while i'm sitting here for hours yeah so this was this was pretty cool to see so nice also and i didn't pull luciano's but he's been posting about their base house so and mhmm home which was supporting that so go check that out and speaking of this is from kazani had posted that devcon is gonna be in his hometown of mumbai or close by this morning i posted that devcon was starting in my own city and i didn't have a ticket a few hours later luciano replied can help he asked if i was in mumbai invited me over to base house in dadaar and by evening a devcon ticket was in my inbox no questions about who i was or what i could do for him just a stranger on farcaster deciding to help i'm heading over tonight to say thank you in person i'm usually the quiet one who avoids meeting people so this is a first for me two this is the part of crypto i came for not the charts the people see you at devcon mumbai and i think there was a picture that was shown this morning and i forgot to grab it but so go check kazani's or luciano's post one of them posted a photo and i know kazani is a big word a day dude so wanted to wanted to share that so very nice to see

yes but you know he got he got removed from the leaderboard

for ai usage so he was using an algorithm to use his word of days and we had a chat in public on farcaster i was asking him about whether he used it and he's like yeah i do i use ai to craft so he's still he's still welcome to play but i made him ineligible for the leaderboard because part of the leaderboard i have some suspicions about other people as well it's like when if it's people get very formulaic and it becomes it doesn't mean they're not also learning the word and that's right you know like

but right but it's it's the whole earning and and learning and leaderboard part of it that you

well and it's just also like the authenticity if you're doing a game with other people and the trust like if you're trying to see how you match up like it's just not fair

and you could use you could use ai for ideas i would think but just craft it yourself would be the better approach rather than a copy paste kinda thing well that's sad

but very few yeah the the usage on word today is pretty low these days so i'm just not you know letting letting people play keeping it up but yeah

well go play war today people on it earn some earn some war today coin jump that leaderboard and speaking of travels pichi has been traveling all over japan and korea for i don't know a while now it's been months and she's still in korea right now and if you're not following her travels i highly recommend you do because it's been really fun she's she posted something today about a libubu kite in a middle of a i don't even know it was really funny i was like okay but this is i thought it was beautiful the colors of korean temples floor me it's so vivid and bright i've been getting lost in the hour hours i could stare at this all day and i did think it was absolutely beautiful so wanted to share that today and if you're only listening go take a peek at that and follow pichi p i c h i because her travels are fun this from our friend the purple cat yes2crypto i don't even remember what this is oh yeah mint a working pool table via banker was not on my dance card and i went to do this and i had some setting that i had to go change and i didn't get a chance to do that but this was really cool spaced bradq created i think it was spaced bradq created like prompted bankrbot over on twitter to create an nft collection of like must have been 69 i assume it was 69 pool tables or something like that where you could then play this game that it also created so the n f you're minting an nft that gave you like different skins and stuff like that of the pool table but anyone could play this game and it was all created like via bankerbots so it was just kinda cool to see a different use case for bankr so so shout out bankr and i'm gonna be i have some folks from bankr who are gonna pop into my class tonight and we're gonna be launching a little token and stuff so that'll be fun so be on the lookout for that as well and i'm trying to decide what we're gonna do because they have some really cool pairings now with different stocks so i think we're gonna do something like that one of their indexes so just something i'll be experimenting with if you happen to see it that's what i'm doing so don't get too excited it's just a demo for class but i'm not saying you know i'm not saying it won't go up but i'm not saying it will and that's what the token will do lastly i had mentioned cupertino on here and pjc started watching it and we started having this conversation about law and ai and it was just really interesting chat with pjc on here and sort of my thinking about lawyers and ai and how they're helpful but also how they can be harmful because we still have a lot of hallucination where there have been cases that have gotten overturned because some law clerk or paralegal stuck in a case that wasn't real and it was found out later on that it wasn't they're citing the case and depending the case upon it and it's not a real case because these things still happen so still have to be double checked by a real lawyer and then there was a discussion about well wouldn't paralegals be more valuable because i said like paralegal is one area that i think is gonna be less valuable because you can do so much yourself with ai that was normally done by a paralegal and this has been the case like even going way back before there was computer case law like it's been around for a while but when i was in law school even which was the mid nineties early to mid nineties they still taught us first year how to do this with books like mhmm finding cases via books like reading one case you have citations you go to the next book how do you find that book all that kind of stuff and that's what paralegals would do early on and that's why it took so much time and energy that you needed this help where then you could just use westlaw lexisnexis and much easier and now even more easier like just so much easier because so much is on the internet but it wasn't for a very long time like even court dockets were not on the internet for a long time the law is slow technology is fast so yes you can like lawyers can do a lot more and then his conversation our conversation was well couldn't paralegals do it instead people could save money and i said no at least in the us you have to be licensed to practice law so even i who am no longer licensed because i retired from the bar i passed the bar i was a licensed attorney in massachusetts moved to florida didn't want to take the bar again yada yada i cannot practice law in the state of florida even though i have all those credentials so you have to be careful with that stuff but where it becomes very useful is for those sole practitioners for attorneys themselves to be able to do more for themselves and also for you as a consumer yourself to be able to represent yourself in things that you can do you just can't represent somebody else so that's where anyways all this because of a conversation about cupertino which by the way you guys should all go watch because it has a lot of tech involved in it and i think you all would like it but it's about a law firm in silicon valley and what they're doing and like it just gets into like really fun cases that are very interesting so that was all that and that's it and that's it so go watch cupertino and cupertino if you wanna sponsor the show we're looking for sponsors so there you go because i've been talking about you a lot and that's it

wait oh i was like what are you guys talking about what was meghan markle did was that what meghan markle did on suits paralegal yes before she stopped being a paralegal and became a duchess or something yes yes exactly she was actually an actress playing a paralegal but yes that was it but also that whole entire show is about a guy who's practicing law without a license that's the whole show

never watched it

yep that's the whole show alright anything else adrienne that i forgot i kinda like ran through it we had a ton of things but yeah this is the only show we have this week
