In a few days, it will be 2 months since I joined farcaster. 1st month: 0 → 400 2nd month: 400 → 800 That's the most I've ever had. I still have a few days to reach 1k subscribers. But none of this matters, as this is pure joy and fun to be here. Happy new year. Onwards and upwards. i love you all.

With the one caveat is be ready for me to push you on why you chose to do something. World-class UI/UX is minimally about pixels, and much more about how it works and what the trade-offs are. Brilliantly "designed" interfaces that don't get people to use them...

Easy heuristic for quality of a decentralized social network: 1. go the feed of the founder 2. do they post more on their decentralized social network than Twitter? 3. do they get higher quality engagement on average, i.e. non spammy replies?
2022 meta: farcaster is too intellectual 2023 meta: farcaster is too degen
2023 meta: "no one uses Farcaster" 2024 meta: "too many ETH people are using Farcaster"
