On Quote Casts Quote Casts create value. New commentary & context while retaining provenance. “QCs fracture conversations” is pessimistic assessment. Looking for some insights for @flink. 1. Do you use it? Why or why not? 2. If you use it, do you also use Warpcast? How do you split time between the two? 3. How would you want flink to better complement your Warpcast experience? 4. What features are missing on flink? 5. What features are missing in the ecosystem?

Recast and reply. Quote tweets fracture the conversation. Further emphasizes broadcast vs. conversation. At its worst, it’s a dunk button. Will eventually add it, but features change behavior. :)

reactions when i tell people i have internet friends (hi @nonlinear.eth) range from scoff to laughter. truth is: my farcaster friendships grew from trust built over hundreds of interactions in a place where freedom of expression and thought is encouraged, where online and offline selves can (and should) be continuous.
