Between the rewards and tips, the FC economy really comes alive on Tuesdays This feels distinct from my experience on other social products, particularly the relationships strengthened by economic bonds. Where else can you show up and have your internet friends be telling you in cold hard cash that they value you?

Getting a lot of questions about mini apps in the new Coinbase Wallet — here are the two most common: 1. How do we partner with you to get included? You don’t need to. The beauty of using open primitives like mini apps is that there's no gatekeeper. If your app is built to the spec, it will show up in Coinbase Wallet. No partnership required. 2. Will my app work well? Great question — and the honest answer is: not always, many popular ones we are testing today do not work. These apps slightly deviate from the spec in a way that breaks UX. We’re publishing best practices next week and hosting sessions to help make sure your app works well out of the box. We also recommend Minikit as Onchain kit to make sure your mini app works well. On the market 1. This is targeted for people building. I'm not a trader and have no point of view on prices beyond crypto has yet to be uncorrelated with risk assets. Bitcoin may showing some signs but unclear. 2. The fundamental building blocks continue to improve. 7702 is shipping soon and will unlock a bunch of wallet innovation, e.g. subsidized gas fees. There are also several new EVM chains like MegaETH and Monad that will be coming to market. Block space will continue to get cheaper. Analogy here is excess broadband build out post dot-com bubble leading to YouTube, web2, etc. 3. Regulatory progress is happening. Last week the SEC publicly said stablecoins are not securities, the STABLE Act is working its way through Congress. After that gets passed, market structure (the more important bill imo) is next. If both bills are passed by the end of the year, this will inevitably lead to more high-quality teams building new products / protocols that are able to use a token to bootstrap.
