I’ve updated my Farcaster Bull case. Everyone seems to have their opinion about what FC is for or what it should be about. “It’s for Base maxis.” “It’s just for devs/builders.” “It’s all crypto bros.” But time and again, the casts that go viral and resonate with the most people are authentic, human stories that bare truths about the writer. The uniqueness of this phenomenon can’t be understated, especially as the internet continues to ossify over the generative corpse of its once-lived existence. The dead internet theory doesn’t apply on Farcaster. IMO, that’s its greatest strength. You can still find and connect with real people from a diverse spectrum of backgrounds. What you do with those connections can form life-altering bonds. That’s not possible anywhere else online.

Still using base app as my primary farcaster client this week - I miss being able to post 4 images (farcaster pro) - the coining UI is a little clunky, when it asks me to provide ticker and caption which is different from the post, would prefer that popup comes after hitting post instead of after adding an image, and defaults to something I can just accept - when I saw it was $4 in fees to coin this morning, it was super easy to turn it off for the one post, though still not overly confident normies will understand what it all means

Hopefully, the past 24 hours in crypto will motivate a flight to quality. This industry doesn’t need the long tail of griftcoins; just a handful of blue chips with utility. It doesn’t need shady CEXes and DEXes that fold under stress; only credible players that have shown Lindyness. if you survived and preserved your money, you're already doing great. If you made money from this flash-crash, congratulations - you’re better than 90% of the market. Interestingly, just a few hours before this drop, the Trump team's token $WLFI was sold off by 30% to have funds to buy it back from panicking people. Also, if you were following the news, you had time to accept the current losses and close all long positions before the global drop; it didn’t happen all at once. Watch the market for a few more days; don’t jump in due to FOMO and rush to trade. It’s better to miss out on some profits than to incur losses. P.S. There's a lot of market volatility right now and many wallets are failing to complete onchain swaps and sends due to fast moving gas prices and asset prices.
