oh thank you so it did go live but it wasn't live yet

bye have a good second to last day

that was so cute you guys last day okay

went to school so cute yeah it's his it's his official last school day they have something tomorrow so he has to go in but it's not like this is his last day of high school adorable craziness i should be taking a picture up front with the palm tree anyway okay we'll do it later so every first day of school we would do this picture same picture and then last day of school also so i gotta get this one anyway meanwhile love you too have a good day you guys just caught us in a weird moment but anyway little bit a little bit of love gm everyone we are gonna get rolling we've got some national news we've got some international news we've got some local news that we'd like to call farcaster news so we're gonna be getting into all of it and diving in and yeah so let's get this rolling and you can tell we're still in rome clearly clearly our brains are still in still in rome but we are here and we'll be back after this brief brief intro we'll see you on the other side

gm farcaster it is thursday may 14 big day and you are here with nounish prof and adrienne for twenty nine minutes of our cast news to start your day maybe slightly longer we might hit it correctly this time we'll see go give us a retweet recast re quote cast quote tweet do all the things tell people you're watching let's get some folks in here as i am doing right now live now

so adrienne why did i say may 14 was such a big day do you know do you know

nope no clue not a clue today the clarity act is going up to markup in the bank senate banking committee and you might say wow that sounds very detailed and why do i care this is sort of the last hurdle to getting this thing passed is to get it through this particular committee it's already passed in the house this is the last big hurdle i should say there's still some more steps but if you're not familiar with the way congress works or doesn't this is part of the process so this is the point at which every senator on that committee throws like five zillion amendments on tries to get those added senator warren the lovely and her lovely anti crypto army have added 40 potential amendments which will all be shut down but there's many others as well then you just never know how things are gonna change there's last ditch efforts to kill this so we'll see how it goes but this is a big day so that'll be happening we'll be looking for that i would highly recommend following eleanor tarrant tarrant over on twitter she's been really great about reporting on this all along so she's over there out there in dc and they're gonna be in hearings all day long so keep an eye on it alexi today and every day our topic is farcaster but we always throw in a little bit of crypto news as well so very excited to see how this goes moving on to our farcaster local news this shipped friday this is from topocount on snapchain mainnet the only significant change from my last round of discussions is that the ttl must be greater than zero and lte ninety days this encodes respect for users' keys and inactivity with a given signer at the protocol layer so this was the snapchains signers fip adrienne can you like explain what this is to those of us less technically inclined what this means didn't you read the fip no i don't read fips

adrienne this is your this is your part of the job

main job mister i don't explain fips

it's the off chain signers standalone fip and it includes features like letting devs revoke their own signers so i think that's part of this is to protect when things go awry so yeah so anyway next slide

this is sign in with farcaster

right

so this is basically another layer of protection and gives a gives it looks like it gives the devs another tool to if there is

be able to pull it yeah just great alright well go take a peek if you're a dev and you're using signers you might wanna go give this a look anyway

we'll fix it in post there is there is no post moving on this from clanker clanker has been doing some regular features of devs who are building on clanker and some of these have been clanker ogs and now we have fresh clanks which i kinda love this i love this name i love this branding this is a fresh clank feature of seltorius who's building among traders and has the token dollar sign traders if you have not played among traders by the way go play go play it but also give this a read it tells you a little bit about seltorius and what he's been building and it's just a really cool game where humans and ai are playing together in a way to sort of do this mystery deduction game and it's really fun so go check it out but also check out the new profiles that clanker has been putting out and you'll find them both on twitter and on farcaster at the clanker world or clanker accounts so there you go look for more to come

he really really smart guy and i i like how he's experimenting with both ai and the tokens and i think there's just some really cool things he's doing here so take a look this from rish operating social network is a strange job because the feedback loop is also the product you ship something people react and then the reaction becomes part of what you have to work through some of it is useful some of it is funny some of it is people saying things because the internet rewards people saying things true over time i've had to get a lot better at separating those categories in the end good problems to have back to shipping yeah i like the the part about people saying things because that's what people do on the internet so there you go sometimes it's just people saying things oh that's funny wonder if adrienne is now going to plot to ask professor next to us if she hasn't reviewed shoot you should do you think she's gonna try and get revenge

she might you never know this from 10xchris just watched the farcon room state of the union farcaster keeps blurring the line between product culture and coordination snaps and the composer ai for better human connection mini apps becoming social objects it all feels like the feed is turning into a builder's playground exactly really enjoyed lemone and rish on this thoughtful grounded and very clearly building toward the long game feels like farcaster is still early in the best possible way thanks so much nounish prof and co for the upload so we have started uploading the content from farcon you will find it right now on youtube spotify and anywhere that you get your podcasts so you can put hey if you just wanna do the you know listen back you can get on apple if you go to youtube there is a farcon room playlist and that's gonna be the easiest place to find all the things we've dropped so far we've dropped three the welcome and keynote the builders day that had lemony and grim grin and then the panel with the ogs who've been to all the farcon so that was me adrienne grin and justin on and matt lee in spirit and it was really fun so those three have been dropped those were sort of the first three i have been working on the community one and then the demos and those will be out later today so if all goes well barring any unforeseen circumstances but go check it out they're really fun i still think we should do a watch party we have to figure that out at least for the keynote i think there was a lot of good meat in there i know you had some thoughts but i don't i don't wanna put you on the spot because heaven forbid i'd do that again this morning

but when you're ready let us know your thoughts i may have to relive it that's why i think we have to i need to

i think we need to watch party because i need to rewatch it to really like digest it again because there was a lot of good it was presented really well like rish's presentation was really really really well done and there's like just multiple things in there that i think we could dive into so we will get that scheduled out for you so that we can be in here chatting and watching together in other news other news that came out of farcon this from victoctero if you've been sleeping on the class of 2026 collection by design cabal now is the time presale closes this friday grab a mug a hat a t shirt or all three get your farcaster vibes by the way if you're getting a hat and a t shirt just get the bundle because it's like the same price and then you get and you get the cute little mug so i mean in wait a minute i need to do that again but hold on so i can get it for the shot yeah so get the mug it's cute and i need to get my order in because i was trying to order the other day i was having issues but it was on my end so i will get that done

love it love it little little combo mug combo

moving on but these are really cute so if you didn't see these super cute go check them out and get those ordered by the design cabal next week we were gonna do it this week and then we just pushed it back so that we'd have more time to let you all know about this because this is gonna be really fun we're gonna do a little decentraland tour with abcdcl tours oddjob and he has been pimping this out this place out with farcaster stuff like warplitz but check this out this is the best there is a bert emote that you will be able to get and you will be able to get your own little bert and your own far noggles i think i think you can get far noggles too but check out bert in decentraland this is gonna be so much fun so i'm really excited about this so this will be next wednesday i believe we're doing it oh hold on hold on because we rescheduled and now i'm forgetting let me make sure i've got the right day because i can't remember if was tuesday or wednesday we are gonna be in in streaming in i think what we're gonna do is stream what's happening in decentraland so that you can see what's going on there but you also will be able to jump in yes wednesday 5pm eastern we're gonna be in checking all this out and you can come hang out and you can also mint a little bert emote so you can get this little guy and if you're not sure how to go about all this these casts will be in our show notes and you can reply to odd job and he'll help get you onboarded to decentraland so this is so fun like i can't stop looking at it i can't wait to get my own little bird emote very excited so go check that out and then also the following week or the first week of june should say so two weeks couple weeks the food won't be as good as farcon rome but we certainly have the vibes and this is from jubjub he's putting together something called farcaster batches but we're trying to come up with a better name so right now it's just batches with a line through it so each day

so each day there's gonna be a feature where we're gonna be featuring different founders as well as doing workshops so it's kind of alternating each day so monday wednesday friday they'll be we'll be featuring founders on twitter spaces and then the other two days tuesday thursday we will be doing some workshops around building on farcaster so this is gonna be a lot of fun now i'm forgetting the time i think it's 1pm eastern is it 1pm eastern or noon eastern 1pm eastern each each of those days so this will be really fun looking forward to it there we go this is a little better you can see the full thing now this is gonna be a lot of fun so first week of june we'll be talking about this a lot this was all jubjub's idea said hey would you guys support this and we're like yeah sure we're happy to help you so i wanted to give more attention to those who are building on over here on farcaster so this is gonna be a lot of fun excited moving on we also have this news that we are getting ready to drop the first round of grants from the clanker ecosystem fund the cef be sure that you are following slash c e f the cef channel on farcaster that's where we'll be dropping news like this and super excited about super excited about this this is gonna be really fun this first round we have been spending a lot of time figuring out you know who is gonna be recognized in this first round we're mostly focusing on retroactive but there'll be you know a few some recognition for those who are you know a little fresh clanks if you will so very excited and can't wait to to be giving out these grants because giving out other people's money is just you know my jam it's what i've always wanted to do so really excited about that yeah can't wait and we've just been waiting for it to build up enough that we're we're able to have some significant funds to give away so two more weeks folks is when we'll do that announcement we'll finish up our we've been meeting with and chatting with the different potential recipients and we're gonna sort of finalize those discussions and finalize our list and then we'll be reaching out to them they'll know ahead of time we're gonna ask them not to say anything and then we'll announce on the twenty eighth so there you go i may have to give them a penalty

so we want it to be a surprise to everybody else this from adrienne woke up this morning and decided to build a page for all a 182 people who have been guests on the gm farcaster network check out grin's page as an example let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions for approving it this is really cool i saw siege meonbase she's adding it to her resume

she's like oh my god actually that's great so very cool i love this

do

i'll do that in a sec

it's really fun and then i like that you include the cast that we may have featured as well so you can see those so you're really seeing the content that they've generate jeez we've featured cameron a lot cameron it's a lot of cameron well deserving well deserving yeah and then dawufi is another one so this is very cool i love how you built this and how it's just pulling in all the different content you've got all of vibe check here too that's really cool who he did his own show that was we shared on our network yeah dawufi's is pretty robust so these are some pretty robust pages as well so well done very well done so very cool go check that out you may have a page you just you may you may have a page so go check it out

oh cool so just yeah you can just go right there and and try it out or you can probably can you ask warpee or no he doesn't know that yet

oh we told him no

great because that would be cool if if you could just tag and say hey bring me to my page

that'd be cool

don't don't actually do it right now though okay stay stay here for a little bit

she does do that you know she gets a good idea during the show and then she's gone yeah and she disappears she's here but she's not really here alright moving into some builder news we have this from the formerly known as cody team now charmsai millions spend hours with ai characters but characters forget creators don't earn and the best experiences sit behind paywalls we raised 1,500,000 to build the character economy with lattice fun and c b cb ventures base ecosystem fund jme ventures bootstrapped by world foundation so this is pretty cool going on ai characters are becoming icons charms turn them turns them into tradable assets traders back the characters they believe in fees fund memory and ai compute fans chat for free creators get rewarded the ai character economy starts now early traction before public launch a whole bunch of 100 k chats 1,500,000 in market volume with just 6,000 users so very cool and this is in partnership with clanker so we love to see it love to see it charms very excited to see what they do i love the cody game i kinda go through phases where i'll play a game like every single day and then i just kind of move on to like the new shiny object but i really need to circle back because i did i do like the cody game it was a lot of fun but i gotta go try this out as well very cool this from the one and only toadyhawk last week i had the pleasure of hosting emily junior for an episode of zero pod live where we talk smack about playoff hockey dug into the lore behind bankr and drb and learned all about how he's bringing property liens on chain for the first time with his new project leanfi which we need to get him on to talk about that as well because this looks like a very cool thing we commissioned some custom cover art for the episode by the talented tornado and today can collect the additions betterment spin to win up to 100 x back in l five one of the best performing tokens on base right now when you're all done spinning and winning watch the ninety minute video podcast with mike mike his name is mike yes that's what the m stands for right now in the betterment app or check it out later on youtube spotify links and cast it was an awesome conversation good luck have fun and enjoy literally now i don't know why didn't know his name was mike he's emily junior is it just

it was money yeah i thought it was just money moneyly

time job yes i didn't know he had another job i thought it was just that and just trolling trolling on twitter i just thought that was his full time job so very cool and also the cover art is really well done so well done tornado very cool love to see it go check that out also in some art news this from anemale anemale neynar just got way better so neynar was something that was launched while we were at farcon and it is a really fun take on your pfp like the pfps you love three a day see who's winning the most liked gallery track your likes received in my creations share the top three podium in one tap which tags creators eight new art universes banksy basquiat mbw obey cyberpunk glitch core anime and renaissance and you can check it out in the mini apps neynar so neynar art if you followed that or just look for anemale and go to their profile and you will find it there

just to give an example i think that push created this one if i'm understanding correctly reworked for neynar art themes from scratch make farcaster art fun again maybe it wasn't this one might have been a different one but really cool love to see more art on the timeline so always makes me happy this from our friends at megapot andreitr they added megapot on bankr so bleep bloop play megapot on bankr megapot skill loaded ready to help you with buy lottery tickets quick pick or custom numbers check current jackpot and drawing state see if you won and claim winnings set up recurring subscriptions manage lp positions what would you like to do so that is pretty cool if you're a bankr club and you wanna play mega pot you can just set it up to just do its thing and also maybe give it stop you know if i'm losing too much stop whatever you know you get to give it all kinds of different instructions there so that is a cool skill to be adding to bankr so go check that out if you haven't checked out megapot you can find them on farcaster as well this from back to art i should've put this together that was silly i threw in a lottery in between the art whoops this from floar cleaned up all the remaining traits now at a 110 traits total some of the new ones include the flower garment by eric gardner the first trait that was drawn and among the last ones to get scanned because slightly going out of bounds because broke the pipeline also features one of the three new noses by max jackson funny side note here it's the only cyan trait in the collection because i forgot to take that pen away did a manual ingestion for that trait so the the way sounds rare i know it's rare it's rare so this is the bus project that was created for farcon this floor won one of the farhack prizes for this and it was really cool because it was a physical piece of paper where you were drawing a trait and then he was scanning it in the way he had this cyan like dots in each corner and that's why you you weren't supposed to use that color but he forgot to take it away from us and then he did so very cool project it was fun to see it play out and you can check it out in the mini app and add traits and play around with it it's really fun go check it out i have created a few that were just for fun excuse me that i hadn't like actually i don't think we've i don't think it started minting yet but it should be minting soon why aren't you letting me in there we go there we go so then you can reroll it will give you a different version some of them come out super crazy or you can play around and like pick what you wanna see on there and like mess around with the noses and stuff like that spicy nose all kinds of fun things so this is really fun there's also one

oh it is

those glasses those are mine i

shocking i know to match my pop so there you go but this is really fun go check it out and i loved this whole concept of it's like having a different type of souvenir from an event so would love to see more of this done down the road because it was really cool this from chris cocreated making sure everyone who is in rome gets their free piece their free cocreated piece and this is i believe it's all our pfps of us who were there i think into this flag if i'm understanding it correctly and it's in the italian flag and you can mint a gift or if you want to support you can get an hd image minted as well so go check that out if you were in rome with us alright moving on couple more things whoops whoops let me get that off the screen couple more things couple more fun things happening on the timeline that this was speaking of art this is hilarious shlommes i love you i just love you and i and i really enjoyed this tremendously but i didn't see it i didn't actually see it until brileigh had casted this and then i went oh i gotta go check this out so this is from brileigh feels faithful that i would spend today drafting an article about the never ending ai art isn't real art debate and shlooms would come out to rage bait all the naysayers and this is just some of the comments that were over on twitter he posted a image that he said was an ai for an ai piece based on monet

it was not it was actually just i can't

a picture of a water of water lilies it's like actual monet and the bait worked quite well

why was this not as good answered and people gave lots of answers and it was really funny to read so because people were very detailed in their criticism as to why this was not real art and why monet's stuff was so much better except it actually was and i did like oxxen's mark safe from falling for schlom's ai bait because he was like schlom's that's an actual monet though and then he hit his comment which i thought was really funny so thanks shlomms for the laughs i appreciate it i enjoyed it as someone who once had this poster in their dorm room because their roommate loved monet yeah i kinda i kinda recognized as soon as i saw it i went wait that's hold on it looks familiar also waterlilies is a series so there's a so that was the other funny thing that some people were like no this is the real one it's like it's one of them it's like a whole series there's also a lot of like lore around how some of these pieces probably weren't even done by monet they might have been done by his students because he used to teach art and so it's really funny i mean there's layers to this there's layers to this rage painting but i found it amusing found it quite amusing this from ramsey this ramsey was the first one i saw talking about it and then it was all over my feed both on twitter and on farcaster the i have to start back here with the recent ap swatch collab because all of sudden a all i was seeing was swatches and i was like what is going on and then i saw ramsey's post with the recent ap swatch collab i just wanna say i don't get the ro craze and then he goes on he's very detailed in this he is very into watches so if you wanna know what exactly this is like just go to ramsey's profile but here are the actual swatches the new ones and they're a handbag accessory so because some people were calling it a pocket watch and i'm like that's weird and then when i actually saw them and got that it was no this is to go on like a luxury handbag as which is a thing handbag accessories are a thing for luxury handbags then it made a little more sense why this but i i don't think anyone's putting this on a birkin i'm just saying

yes yes so handbags and back

oh a pocket watch for your labooboo there you go here you go go get your pocket watch for your labooboo i did like you know i did have a nice nostalgic moment thinking about swatches from 1983 i appreciated that i did i don't have it anymore but i did back in the day yeah i think i i was trying to remember and i found one and that was the one i posted it was nautical it had like nautical flags and i'm like i remember i think that was the one i had if i remember correctly so yeah and a couple more things just one more one more funny thing i think did i say one more funny thing yeah two more funny things so jake put a little cast out there and said that he was gonna do some you would have a chance to meet with him for seven minutes which i love this and thank you jake for taking that time and

macmadco madco i think it is said only if you'll change his name and he said i've decided not to change my name and i thought you know this is a good idea for snap like what would be a better name for me for nounish prof i was like okay what's a better name archive keep oh i like that one great so you could do your own name or you can do someone else's name adrienne let's see what name it gives you it gives you collector max i don't think that's accurate i had a ship i saw one that was ship master i felt like that was more accurate mhmm or you know you can enter jake's name and see what happens and when you enter jake yes i coded this so that every time you enter jake it comes up phil amazing and i did this in the snap composer if you have not tried this yet it's really fun i finally had a good i finally had an idea that was like a thirty second oh this is perfect for a snap idea so if you want to know how to do something like this you go to your cast composer click on the little snap icon and it will give you a list of some ideas but you can put anything in there and i literally just typed in make me a thing that looks at recent casts and gives you a new name but if it's jake always make it phil

it worked perfectly and it took about less than sixty seconds and i'm like oh my god

it's true

the same clearly they're the same person they both they both know how pages but you know what it won't say has been on with you won't see that so there you go but that was really fun and that was just a fun thing to build and even added just like an ad confetti it was really quick to do so i do you know just sharing this mostly to say like go build fun things like this because it was really fun when it you know came to my brain and it was so fast so and i couldn't have done that a month ago i wouldn't have done i wouldn't have done that because it would have been too wait it would have taken me way more time and even a half hour would have been too much and it wouldn't have worked the way i wanted it to so very cool to see also loved this that i saw going around neynar which you you shared neynar based on everything you know about me and my casting style which all in podcast host am i most similar to and i was like if it doesn't say friedberg for you it's just wrong and this didn't work

you've got it i'm like good job good job systems thinker engineering brain low tribalism high nuance you zoom out talk first principles then sneak in compassion and lived experience data humanity not vibes and hot takes you're not farming outrage like shama not sparring policy like sex not angel listing the timeline like j col you're calm let's model this properly energy but with better emotional iq and way more farcaster lore so i love that so i asked the same i didn't i didn't love my answer as much i gotta be honest with you i got free bird everybody wants to a be like free

i know everyone wants to be free bird nobody wants to be anybody else

you got none none at all i got a little light

a little bit of j cal

it's a little bit of j cal in all of us that's funny that's really funny

it's true but i did i i liked the i less sacks not enough dc knife fighting oh back in the day just got neynar

okay i'm not seeing that but thanks

but go check that out it's it's fun go give it a try

yeah we should do it why we doing this

we have it was just fun it's just fun know don't be upset it's just fun but i love that i thought it was really fun and that is everything i got a little little lipstick on my teeth

anything else adrienne did i miss anything i feel like it's been fairly quiet like i think everyone's just heads down people are building people are focusing on things like clarity act like let's just get this freaking thing done and i think that everyone's still recovering from rome i've been i definitely have been anyway so i don't know if the rest of y'all have but i've been

we just couldn't do it i've been i've been feeling a little under the weather too so but i'm feeling better every time they say room i eat prosciutto

it's like a

but a drinking game but but with ham

with ham oh ham the old tipping days of ham ham

deployer we love you deployer deployer's cooking he's very busy we gotta get him back on too at some point there's a lot of just cool stuff going on so i like what people watch the builders are the builders are building they're they're cooking and we have a lot of fun things coming up like we said we're you know we're gonna have a a little decentraland tour a little bert emote gonna be a lot of fun that's happening next week we've got the farcaster batches it's happening the first week of june and then may 28 we're gonna be announcing our first round of clanker ecosystem fund grants so lots of cool stuff going on so be on the lookout also and i see statuette in here i see jordan in here a few other folks the community talks and demos from farcon will god willing fingers crossed will be out this afternoon i'm about halfway through getting those edits done and we should have those shortly so look for those statuette was in there it's gonna be a lot of fun all right

does anyone know what the word of the day is today i saw it i looked at it i accepted the challenge and at this moment

i do know what it is i do know what it is yes okay

it's a good word i i haven't come up with a good enough cast yet so but i did did see it so yeah go check go check out word if you haven't played word of day yet go check it out use the word on the in the timeline earn some potentially earn some word of day token so there you go yes jordan that is correct but we're not gonna show it on screen we're gonna make people work work for it if you wanna know what the word is use your use your use your own own fingers and walk yourself over to farcaster and and check it out alright with that we're gonna wrap it here it's been a pleasure we will be back next monday 11:30am eastern time right here with more farcaster and clanker news i'm sure we're gonna have some interesting things to talk about some things on the horizon i know are coming so we'll have some fun things to chat about on monday we may have a guest i'm not sure if we've got anything lined up for sure i know we have some people we're chatting with so we may have a guest on monday look for that follow the gm farcaster channel look for the farcon more farcon drops coming today and with that anything else adrienne before i call it i think we're good alright everybody have a fabulous weekend because yes for us it is a happy friday on a thursday and with that we will see you monday bye bye
