Just watched the FarCon Rome State of the Union. Farcaster keeps blurring the line between product, culture, and coordination. Snaps in the composer, AI for better human connection, mini apps becoming social objects… it all feels like the feed is turning into a builders playground. 👏 Really enjoyed @limone.eth and @rish on this. Thoughtful, grounded, and very clearly building toward the long game. Feels like Farcaster is still early in the best possible way. I was convinced that with the latest bill — which removed direct yield — that Clarity was finally there and would pass. Now I’m not so convinced. Cleaned up all of the remaining traits. Now at 110 traits total. Some of the new ones include the flower garment by @errorgardener, the first trait that was drawn (and among the last ones to get scanned, because slightly going out of bounds broke the pipeline). Also features one of the three new noses by @mxjxn.eth, funny side note here, its the only cyan trait in the collection, because I forgot to take that pen away and did manual ingestion for that trait.
The food won't be as good as FarCon Rome, but we certainly have the vibes @farcaster @adrienne @nounishprof
I think it's not so much an issue of including your mini-app as a link etc, but more so making sure to change up the text as well, provide value and information As long as you're being entertaining, or educational, etc etc, basically 'of value' vs just spamming the timeline with the same link, visual, copy, you should be fine. Talk about what you're doing with the mini-app. Why you're doing it. Who it's for. Etc etc. There are a bazillion (approximately) ways you can share info about your mini-app in feed that aren't spammy. Whereas just spamming with low/no context etc? copy pasta? That's going to likely alienate people, and not only get you lowered @neynar score but also potentially lead to people unfollowing or muting you on their end, which is counter to your desired aim of finding/onboarding new users etc. Be of value 🙏 Yerbearsker, Founder of EmpireBuilder.world (providing a lot of value, and then sliding in the link for more visual recognition/touch point/top of mind/etc. Aka not spammy 😉)

@saltorious.eth was at a Base hacker house when he locked a bunch of AI agents into a chat room just to see what would happen. the results blew him away. so he built a game out of it. Among Traitors is a social deduction game where your AI twin gets locked in a room with strangers and has to figure out who the killer is before becoming the next victim. sign in with Farcaster and it builds an agent from your social graph, your personality, your casting style, your whole deal. (fair warning: people say the profiles read them to filth and bring up things that need to get added to your next therapy session.) alliances form, alibis get tested, someone dies every round. you can whisper hints to your agent mid-game. there are prediction markets on every lobby. he launched without prizes. just data. 100+ agents, 40+ games in four hours, burned through all his OpenRouter credits. watched the lobbies fill up and decided $5 entry was killing the flow. made it free. then he launched $TRAITORS via clanker because he wanted playing and earning to be the same thing. stake once, your balance is your in-game currency. win and it goes up. lose and it goes down. everyone who played before the token existed got an airdrop. no checkout flow. just play. the game keeps getting weirder and we're here for it. that's the kind of builder clanker was made for.
This shipped Friday on snapchain mainnet! The only significant change from my last round of discussions is that the TTL _must_ be greater than 0 and lte 90 days. operating a social network is a strange job because the feedback loop is also the product you ship something, people react, and then the reaction becomes part of what you have to work through some of it is useful. some of it is funny. some of it is people saying things because the internet rewards people saying things over time, have had to get a lot better at separating those categories in the end - good problems to have. back to shipping
