moving on so this was blowing up over on x as well there was a woman who had posted a video about her experience with a particular gallery that went very scarily
amazingly and then there was a lot more coming out about this particular gallery owner and what happened to the gallery assaults sexual harassment very unsafe conditions and what i did appreciate was a lot of the men finally speaking out because it can be very scary for the women to have to be the only ones standing out there this woman's 19 and i really appreciated that she was brave enough to share her story these links will be in the show notes you can go take a look and you know judge for yourself i'm gonna say allegedly but there's been enough corroborating evidence i would say to back up the veracity of her claims so i'll just put it that way just to legally keep us safe there but i mean it was crazy seeing how many stories came out about this particular location and what was happening there so one of the other things i kept seeing was women who had warned other women about you know make sure you're not there after 09:00 make sure this make sure that watch yourself all these kinds of things and for a lot of the guys you may not realize that this happens a lot like we warn each other about things all the time like i've been in multiple group chats with things that have happened within this industry and long before that in other situations of like look out for this look out for that don't be alone with this person there was a situation that happened where somebody i know was a moderator this was a few years ago for a panel it was a it was a conference a web three conference this part one of the people who was on the panel very well known person in tradfi who started talking about crypto was on a lot on the speaker circuit and basically you know was harassing her and very inappropriate right before they were going on stage and she had to be the moderator for this panel and she had told me about this and then a year ago one of my students started doing podcasting and was gonna be doing podcasts at a conference and this this man was gonna be there and i was able to go hey make sure you're not alone with this dude he's shady dude i don't i wouldn't trust him i said you probably shouldn't be alone with any of these guys but also very please be on your guard around this guy and that's how a lot of this stuff gets shared that i think a lot of the guys may not realize that there's a lot of a lot of group chats a lot of discussions so be safe out there yeah yeah very frustrating thank you you're a berserker and there's a lot of there's a lot of you know i did see a lot of men who had stepped up and said some things and i appreciated seeing that happening on the timeline because we do need those allies because a lot of times it's just not that easy for the women to step forward when especially when there's major imbalances of power and that's been the that was the situation here

to come on in yeah tell him to come on in and trivia is it's really fun honestly it's really fun we have a lot of the same people play there's a crew that plays like almost every time i've been playing a little less than i was but i'll i'll jump in when i can and it's a nice little break i mean literally what that took us five minutes so it's a great little like even if you're in the middle of whatever it's an easy quick little break and even when like i've had times when they've done like science and stuff where i'm like there was one that was discoveries it was the hardest trivia like that we've ever had and i just learned stuff it was like i kept getting everything wrong but i was like oh i learned something today that was fun but my favorite thing yesterday was the heroes one the nineteen seventies heroes and nixon was one of the answers and i'm like no no fun fast and friendly exactly exactly and they've really done such a good job of building this like plants and burr you guys have crushed it in terms of just how well it works it's just pretty seamless there's occasionally some glitchy things that'll happen but like the fact that it just can run without them having to do anything once they set it it's like a set it and forget it and it just keeps running it's great and i like that they have different terms

when you so we worked with no we worked with so we partnered with a company called propaganda run by bobby takar for the whole event so they they were kind of our partner he he's like the grand master event planner so he's got a whole content team that he works with and had a or in house and and

very cool because this video was great and then i did see one other thing that i wanted to ask you about as well this was from abraham over at the splits team if you're building on bankerbot come check out what we're building for you at 0x splits fee claims auto swaps revenue processing accounting and shared wallets and this was in response to your post about have seen this at least twice so i'd like to make a psa to bankerbot devs if you are implementing a fee recipient contract to manage fees for your project you 1000% need to implement functions that let you change the fee recipient and handle client tokens alternatively use zero x splits abraham and team are awesome and have a bunch of implementations specifically for this use case and we love the splits team so we will shout them out at any opportunity
but yeah no if i could just echo that psa for anybody building honestly in the vet community or otherwise study the contracts that you're implementing i've seen that this is i'm sure i'll see more of this but people who are running maybe it's a a any type of business and and funding it with tokens or funding it with fees from tokens or daos or anything of the sort where you have a contract that's handling all of the funds please read the implementation for bankers specifically it it implements software contracts where there is a very specific transfer fee recipient function to if for any reason you need to do that also keep in mind that like if you're accepting weth or any erc any other erc 20 token into your contract if they aren't like the special type of like i can't remember exactly what it's called it's like this erc 20 like variant that it it it gives the ability to transfer on an event not all erc tokens implement that so if you get fee tokens pushed to your contract and there's no way to do anything with them like you have to define the contract address and get all the transfer from or transfer and function on that on that contract address to actually move the tokens out of the if you receive your wallet if you're rolling your own contracts and you don't think about that stuff you could end up in a situation where you have like tens of thousands of dollars on something
and you can't get to it yeah
you can't get or you need to like jump through hoops to like try to try to get more so splits is sick because one they've thought of all that and they and also they are super responsive as far as like if you do run into any sort of problems abrams and the rest of the team is super super quick to to help and they have built their contracts in such a way where they can add modularity on top of it really easily and really quickly so i would say if you're not like really thinking about that stuff just use splits
and we do need to get splits on here we talked about having them come on to chat adrienne and we just didn't get it done i think because the summer happened and we got distracted but we do need to get them on to chat because they're just amazing they're just such an amazing team

yeah so i mean i guess overall it went really really well it was so people flow in from all over we had devs from france come in devs from scotland he's thinking of the firm jeff but a couple of devs from south america

no no he did he he made a point and and i'm glad he did because his presentation was really really good but yeah no the whole week was was awesome started off at started off on monday where we had like a little welcome welcome events where i've got to speak to a bunch of people who who were considering building within the banker ecosystem played some paddle ball on tuesday that was a fun news experience when i blew out at least like three shirts yeah yeah a little bit

exactly exactly wednesday was a coworking day at the coinbase office and like 70 people showed up nice and what was interesting about that day in particular was a lot of the people who came through like we had we had a bunch of crazy sponsors grokbot the flash who showed up in numbers at every single event because flash tv is awesome who else propaganda obviously is one of the sponsors but we had a lot of people come into these events who were familiar with the sponsors but not so familiar with banker and so getting it being able to like introduce them to this primitive of like hey if you need if you have a good idea and you feel like you can raise from the market bankr is the best deal so getting to introduce a lot of people to that it was was pretty pretty special and pretty impactful and then on the and then thursday you know some more happy hours get together and what have you and then saturday the day of the actual event it was and
were people like hacking throughout the week while all these other things were going on

yeah you went in you went in the little room and then we lost you so yeah so who else tell us a little bit about what were some of the projects that you're seeing that you thought were really interesting and like what were people how are people using bankr in relation to it is it just for raising are they doing are there any projects where that are you know building on top of bankr like what's what are you saying out there
yeah yeah i think it's like a pretty healthy split so like there there's for sure there's for sure people who are building and using like the anchor as like the attention and distribution surface area for their idea but i think like one of the cooler ones is
there there's a
like anyway ruminations from from quotient has a very cool idea around using banker projects treasuries to to be basically to be managed by by the qau agent oh so you would take the fees that your project

so yeah roommate yeah okay cool ruminations has a very cool had a very cool project submission where it's for a banker project specifically where you can manage the your treasury with the q agent so you could take the fees that are generated from your project get that get put into a vault and then queue manages them and then any money that queue makes it start funnels back into buying back of the token
i thought that the queue agent yeah like so the queue agent would use would then use the prediction markets as well to maybe increase the funds is that what

no the the new agent yeah would basically trade on the signals that

that's fine and use a using the project's treasury as as capital yeah so very cool
i guess a lot of cool submissions around bolts and agents in trading but those those kind of use banker as more of like an infrastructure layer so using the lmg gateway for any of the agentic stuff and then obviously tying in the token to like access or usage of the platform there's a lot of submissions around rwas and what happens when trading closes for the week so the idea that you know you buy into these rwa positions and then on a saturday or on the friday and market closed between that ten and the monday there's this big divergence between the on chain and off chain price so how do you protect people who are like borrowing and lending mhmm with those assets how do you protect people who have open positions with those assets there are quite a few submissions around that and then i think the biggest category as far as like the like banker definitive like trading side of it as it or agent stuff was like this idea of having like trusted agents and like having trust boundaries between different agents so like this is probably i don't think this is as talked about as it probably should be but like you can trick an agent to do like kind of a sure like if you if you have like an agent that has like access to tens of thousands of dollars and there's no guardrails around it you can trick it into giving you all of those $10,000 so like i've quite a few projects around like making sure that the that there is a deterministic trust layer between agent a and agent b or a swarm of agents in the network so that that doesn't happen to you mhmm and as as more people like give agents money i think like this category and and specifically will be like put to the forefront
put to the forefront like a lot so i would say that's like what's another like pretty big category of project submissions that actually igor and i are going through right now that's why we're at the co working space

i like to i would like populate two years ago he created a really really slick app to basically go through your crypto wallet and auto sell things that either you hadn't touched in a while or maybe they were like going if you had some algorithm that like figured out what the most optimal things to sell were and then put them on your statement card when you needed them and then this morning i saw that what what's the let me let me look at the link over here this morning i saw some big ass companies doing the same thing so i'm messing up i was like hey but you're you're on the right track you're on the right track oh ring but but i think the thing with i think the thing with like you know if you're a small solo dev building
that'll inevitably happen to you where like you have a novel idea and then you see this well funded shop come in and be able to like basically do your idea but i think the the there's still advantages that you have as a solo dev especially working with agents above above somebody like that you're closer to the people with the actual problem

please represent please represent but yeah you have you have a there are a set of advantages that might not be super evident
on the surface but like you know you have you wait your way you have more of a a pulse as far as like what people actually want than this team of like thirty fifty a 100 people who like

i was basically saying like so like the the the rabbit m one device example with the guy who i was talking to him and it's seeing like ray doing something similar i think like there's like as a solo dev you're gonna run into that right like you're gonna run into you have an outlet here for something and then you see on
twitter that like some big ass companies do something in the same way but i think there is an inherited there is some inherited advantages to being a solo dev working on something similar
i you can move faster
the i yeah can move way faster and you have and you almost every time have a better sense of like what people actually like right you have a better sense of like the the pulse and like the touch of like the exact community that you're trying to get to and like that's sort of like what we're doing at that it's like getting in front of those people who are like small solo solo does an amp amplifying their reach and amplifying their distribution so they can have you know just as good of a chance as somebody who is well funded and well capitalized because i've been in the space for a while and then i've also worked at barry i worked at goldman sachs for a while and like the way that the the way that large companies operate like you would think it's like you know a 100 of the smartest people in the world like in a lot of times so like so like you know that's just my 2¢
especially not in this particular when you're talking about especially the intersection of crypto and ai i would go with the smaller the smaller firms the smaller devs because they are gonna they're gonna move faster they're gonna they're gonna have a close just like you said they're gonna have a better sense of what people really want because they're actually using it whereas the larger companies are playing a little bit of catch up and probably don't have as much experience in this space at all so and and
we're still playing it safe too they're playing it safe too
it's gonna be safe and i also think that like there's this the only like the the principal go to market strategy right now is like how big can you get on social media like how how viral can you go and like i think we've seen time and time again that like a trend is fun until like a big company gets involved and then it's over yeah like the the fly brain thing like it was like super fun for like a week everybody was like torturing their flies and everybody was like like you know putting putting their flies into like this thing and shit and like their digital device and shaking it up and seeing what the neurons did and then like companies started getting involved in like oh trade like with my fly brain it's just like as he flew so
there's very few big companies who do the intern thing well occasionally exactly but we've seen it over the years like we when they do it well they do it really well but and
they do it while they do it well but
99% of them don't do it well so yeah we know that yeah for sure but this is really exciting and i need to actually reach out to deployer because i want to try and this time around with my my class starts in mid october and i usually give them some funds to play with and i wanna try and get them access to bankr this time around and do a little bit more with bankr yeah
so i gotta reach out definitely we can definitely put you in touch but igor and i could probably help you out as well

yeah it's fun it's fun you would know everything though you'd be bored you'd be so bored but it i actually had the other professors now gonna start teaching some of this actually sat into my class last semester and he basically comes from like a bitcoin background and mining so he didn't know anything about like ether you know like there was a whole part of it that he knew very little about like yeah he didn't know he didn't know the trenches at all so like we we dive into all and i've always like launched a token the past couple semesters where we've used the fees to actually fund wallets for the students so that we can yeah so that we can give them i i want them to actually play with stuff learn how to swap learn how to do things yeah

summer it's been going incredible i mean i you know i say like a month in crypto is like a year
you know like so you've been there like three years yeah yeah
three years already so so that it definitely feels like that but honestly it's been it's been so cool to one have the be able to talk and like meet all of the amazing developers within none of the base ecosystem but now the robinhood ecosystem and just like seeing all of the the cool stuff that people are building and then number two i think is like the impact that that we that we've been able to have on like some really legitimate impact there's one that really comes to mind there's a fellow who was running this this platform called called memory yeah which is basically a shared memory layer for all of your agents and i think this is public so i don't keep mind me sharing but he was like living in his car for like a little bit like he was like down on his luck and like he basically had got please rode someone launched a token for him and he got like a couple thousand dollars in fees which was able to like help him get into like an airbnb for a month and then he was able to like grind his project for a month and then like all of a sudden now he's got 33,000 you know weekly active users nine a 100,000 weekly active users he's got like 40 k in the bank from real product revenue that he got so like that that's like where we sit right like the precede you need some kick start to just get go you need to go from zero you need to just go from zero to one you need and if you're you know willing to be aligned with crypto then it can be very very beneficial for me not only from like a funding standpoint but from a distribution and attention standpoint and that's really like the two things and then the two things that really are the most elusive right like especially nowadays where the cost of producing software has essentially gone down to zero the whole thing is like how much attention and what kind of community community can i can i build around like what i'm trying to do so i think the bigger the bigger part for me has been like the impact and then also talking to all these these deaf communities and then a little bit selfishly you know as as devrel i feel like i should know what the experience is like for building in the banker ecosystem so i have my own project which i've been hacking on from a little while ago but it also got please road so i got to experience the whole the whole arc of like building in public and then someone finding it and launching a token for me and then having to manage that token and then thinking about okay how can i like best use this token use this token and find token market fit and product market fit and then take those lessons in part pass them on to other builders in the banker ecosystem so that's been really cool too yeah i just the whole has been the simple
what is your project this is yeah how do we mess up not among traders different ones
not among not among traders still up among traders among traders sadly i i i mean it's still up but i i i thought it was kinda it was kinda hard to translate that into like not a mini app yeah this new yeah this and i haven't been as vocal about this new project but it's called harness it is a private ai assistant but the ux is completely different so the ux instead of being like a separate chat window it's a little hip thing that sits on top of everything you do my whole thing was i hate the fact that i have 15 clogs clogs or chat gbt tabs open along with like 30 other tabs with like the actual work i'm doing i just want my ai companion at least in the browser to be like on top of everything and super accessible and then on top of that it's screen aware so you can see everything that i'm doing and then it's integrated with it's integrated with a bunch of other agents so it's kinda like an agent aggregator where as far as like you can bring in banker agent you can bring in q the quotient agent you can bring in you can bring in other agents that do very specialized things and have them all share a context layer and then you connect it to like your quad code you can connect it to your codex you can connect it to your pie so it's like this central this this aggregator almost of like all of your agent activities that you can then delegate work out to so yeah i mean that that that project in and of itself kinda started as like a oh can i build it and then it turned into a whirlwind of me fine tuning vision models to be able to like parse what the actual screen data is more effectively figuring out how i can run very very tiny models over transformers js so that all of the screen capture and embedding information stays local and private to you same thing with like the memory what the memories your agent makes the chats that get stored everything lives on your browser so the whole idea of like these massive companies essentially knowing everything about you is that does not have to be the future that we are signing up for when we are handing over our lives to these ai agents and then folding in folding in like a better ux or at least what i think is a better ux for interacting with these agents cool thing i'm working on is like a extension that lets you like point and click on any elements in your browser cool
and then
prompt prompt right from there and you can pass that context on to your coding agent but yeah and then and then folding in in the crypto side of it so like that could exist completely as like a web to you like a you know regular ai
very cool
but but the crypto element is like making the funding sustainable so with all the fees that were generated from a harness token i bought a bunch of dm and i bought a bunch of cat middle which are inference generating assets and the that inference goes to subsidizing people who use the platform and the idea is to take revenue and treasury assets to grow the dm and cap view balances along with other things that generate real revenue to go and buy more inference assets and then sell the excess on surplus intelligence which is another banker project so like all of this experimenting that i'm doing is like for my product but then i'm like taking those lessons and i'm like oh you should do this because it worked for me or you should do that or you should you should not do that because it didn't work for you
and is d dm the one that's through venice is that yeah okay yeah cool i have not been doing enough of that i just have my stuff staked and i haven't done anything with the dm but i have my vvv
