I have a groupchat experiment I would like to conduct. The first 64 people who comment on this post will be added (if you're following me). At the end of 24 hours of the commencement, everyone will vote for someone else to be removed. You cannot vote for yourself. The 32 users with the highest votes will be removed 1/2

24 hour update: 44 active members, 9 exiled. To potential members, you can still join by liking the original cast. To existing members, we face a dilemma. One member is skirting the sacred rule. If 11 members come forward by direct casting me our icon, this member will be banished. There are 24 hours to vote.

Bountycaster update: Now all users who have permission to post bounties on Bountycaster (accounts before Farcaster went permissionless OR have an active badge) can post ANY bounty amount (no longer capped at $100)

what’s your favorite podcast covering all things warpcast/farcaster?

when you talk about growing DAUs -- are they protocol level DAUs (i.e. writing to the protocol) or Warpcast level DAUs (could include users who are lurkers but don't write to the protocol)? (I imagine the former?)

We covered at the last developer call in 2023, but the top priority for 2024 is DAU growth. It's the overwhelming top request from developers. They want to see a Farcaster with tens of thousands (or hundreds of thousands!) daily active users to be to grow their apps. Best path to doing this is through Warpcast.

Suggestion for channel hosts: 1. Visit your /stats page 2. Invite your most active channel users to a group e.g. https://warpcast.com/~/channel/founders/stats

Introducing Group Direct Casts on Warpcast - Live on mobile and web - Groups can have up to 100 members - You can only invite people following you. If you don’t follow someone, they cannot invite you to a group. You can leave a group at any time - You can also mute a group that’s too noisy
