The active badge is going away. Spammy accounts are aggressively gaming the system to get the badge. Making the rules stricter just makes it harder for legitimate users. We’re past the point where a simple rule based system will work. We need something better.

@deodad and @horsefacts.eth are making Farcaster more hackable. Cast actions is a proposal to add custom action buttons to your cast action bar. When a user clicks on them, your server will get a signed callback. What would you use this for? If we find enough creative use cases, we'll ship this asap.

one day after the $ticker fiasco, I ran an experiment. I casted this wallet address with no comment, and waited for ETH. Pretty neat just through a Farcaster bot + frames we were able to have ~$450k in posted bounties without a site login!
