Kenny pledged the $500 activation grant as twenty $25 boosts on Farcaster-aligned bounties — small sparks attached to much bigger prize pools — with 5 boosts still to give out. Unclaimed boosts are withdrawn and redeployed to other bounties, and the grant also freed Kenny up to fund other initiatives and pay devs for small tasks.

Now rebranded as the LOBBY (formerly BETR with Burr), the team put its /cef grant to work across games, community perks, predictions, and a World Cup Brackets activation, and shared a 28-day report on the results.

Over the 28-day grant period (May 28 – Jun 24). The World Cup brackets activation was the biggest single driver, with 214 brackets from 89 users. Full analysis

Now live as a mini app on Farcaster, CharmsAI kicked off a creator campaign with a 1,000 USDC prize for the first creator who launches a character from Farcaster and cracks the top 10 on the overall leaderboard. The team says it's the first of several campaigns planned over the coming weeks.

The $DOTA team put its CEF funds straight to work, commissioning more art from a talented 3D artist to feed a resource-intensive live-service game. Their goal is to become the #1 game on Farcaster while growing their presence on other platforms too.

Checkr put its grant toward compute and infrastructure credits, shipping b2b x402 endpoints and a new website design.

Viniapp ran VINITHON, a build-a-thon that produced 98 apps, and is still pushing builders forward — the team has individually messaged over 500 builders to get them shipping.

Grants were given out during the program and after, including credits and partner prizes from Quidli and Empire Builder.

Reach so far

Minted Merch shared an update on how it's putting its Round 1 grants to work — keeping the platform running and turning its activation grant into community-facing initiatives.

The activation grant is earmarked for leaderboard payouts at the end of seasons 1, 2, and 3. The app is still being built — testing was expected to start, but the team is waiting to hear back from a developer. @darkoh.eth will keep us posted on when it goes live.
