“what’s one belief you changed your mind about in the past year?" I used to think if given the chance to take an immortality pill, I wouldn't take it. I didn't want to be live on forever. However, I've changed my mind over the last year. I now think I will. "what sparked the change?" These are all hypothetical musings still but I realized there will be ways to _move on_ even after said pill, if one were to choose to do so. Human lifespan seems incredibly short on a universal time scale and there's no reason for it to remain so. Longer, potentially infinite, lives are inevitable and moving on will become a choice rather than a necessity. "and how has it influenced your perspective?” Made me more optimistic. Feels like humanity is just getting started. I am still pessimistic on the timeline of hitting this milestone i.e. I don't think it will necessarily happen during our lifetimes (hype cycles underestimate the trough of disillusion). However, I do think that given time, we will hit infinite lifespan.

I worked on the transcript pipeline of my GM Farcaster AI bot project today. The pipeline is important because access to transcripts is what sets @warpee.eth apart from other bots so I need to make it ridiculously easy to upload new transcripts. Pipeline steps: - generate transcript from youtube video - clean transcript for known spelling issues like NanishPrav and dGen - break into chunks - create embeddings from chunks - upload embeddings to vector database Updates: - added better support for batch processing - can now safely reprocess videos that have already been loaded into the database, necessary for when I go back and work on improving the quality of transcripts Pipeline is solid and working smoothly, and as of now, @warpee.eth has access to transcripts from 170 episodes. I plan to upload the remaining episodes over the next few days. Once that’s complete, I’ll shift my focus to enhancing the quality of the bot's replies.

Minor annoyance: warpcast not optimized for low bandwidth, difficult to use on airplane wifi It’s 10000000% better and more performant vs a year ago, and likely not a priority, but wanted to share the feedback.
