we incorporated @splits months after @w and i started working on it. we did, however, raise capital during this pre-incorporation time period. during our recent hack week, we prototyped a tool for making this better. it takes the workflows of a trad incorporation + raise (define cap table, amount raising, valuation, backer allocations, etc) and uses onchain primitives (tokens, bonding curves, programmable refunds, public receipts). it's our first experiment in the "capital formation" space - looking for feedback, questions, pushback. especially if you're a builder considering a friends & family round - please reach out! more info: https://x.com/abram/status/2084689867942908347 video walkthrough (10 mins): https://screen.studio/share/fRfMQds4 prototype app: https://splits-pact.fly.dev/create (unaudited contracts)

Just wrapped up a mini hack week at Splits. Some of the things we explored: Payment links: send money without knowing the recipient’s payment info ahead of time. You deposit funds into a link, and the recipient can claim the money in the currency of their choice. Capital formation: a lightweight fundraising tool for raising capital onchain. It works like a placeholder for future tokens, equity, or other rights, and reflects our belief that early-stage financing depends heavily on reputation and social trust. Payment agreements: recurring payment agreements that automatically execute scheduled payments using our module system. Agent-hosted pages: added support for Gerard (our cloud-based agent runtime) to publish hosted HTML pages directly. More here: https://x.com/abram/status/2074239001138217184
