“What year did the MTV Video Music Awards celebrate on Sunday? It wasn’t exactly 2026.” Ok so it wasn’t just me who was confused. Weirdest VMAs — especially once I remembered that MTV no longer exists and that’s why this was on CBS. There were some good moments but overall weird, uncomfortable, and too much bad lipsyncing. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/09/27/arts/music/vmas-best-worst-moments.html?unlocked_article_code=1.ElE.rBit.x3BHdLE3fH4u&smid=nytcore-ios-share

Local paper last week, TV this week 🙏 RTP, Portugal's national public broadcaster, had me in their Azores news studio to talk about the flight tracker I built for the islands Flights here are expensive, and the same route can cost 3x more depending on the day you book So I built a free tool that watches all 18 direct routes every day to help people get the best prices You can just build things that make your corner of the world better https://x.com/wbnns/status/2101284941434937711

I dug into the first wallets that bought $POOF to understand how much supply snipers and bundlers picked up, where it went, and how much they still hold. The good news: every bundler group I identified has sold out, and most of the sniper supply has already changed hands. That gives POOF a lot more room to grow. At launch, one wallet bought 20.4% of the entire supply in the first block, 26 seconds after liquidity went in. Within the first second, nine wallets had bought 36.7%. Around eight minutes in, the sniper and bundler groups identified in the analysis held roughly 40%. The clearest bundle was seven wallets that all received gas from the same address almost two hours before launch, then bought together in the same block nine separate times. All seven had fully exited within four hours. The address that funded them holds nothing. Every other bundler group I identified, several more sets of four and five wallets buying in the same blocks, has since sold out too. I also followed transfers, because an empty wallet doesn't tell you much if the tokens just moved to another address. The first buyer, for example, split part of its position between two fresh wallets. One sold everything. The other still holds about 1.5% of supply and hasn't moved since launch day. Across the early wallets and directly linked recipients, roughly 4% of supply remains traceable to those launch positions. Including additional wallets with uncertain connections brings the estimate to around 7 to 7.5%. Some transfers went through routers, so attribution isn't perfect. From ~40% at minute eight to ~4% today. Most of the supply concentrated in those launch bots has already changed hands, and the position today looks very different from those first eight minutes. Seeing that concentration unwind just one week in makes me optimistic about what comes next. Plenty of room to build around POOF and grow this community.

Testing out some of the mobile offline local knowledge apps that people have been trying to build (see here https://poidh.xyz/mainnet/bounty/31 ) Definitely getting much better than the one I tried to build myself 2 months ago. But also still much slower and less effective at difficult questions than the models that can run on a laptop. It's weakest at specialized travel-related queries (eg. my eval is "Tell me the best vegan restaurants in [city I am currently in]", unfortunately none of these performed well on that) Looking forward to seeing these continue to improve! I hope we can soon get to the point where you can comfortably look up any facts about the world that you care about without needing to access the internet at all.

i built an agent for the Runtime NYC hackathon last week that pays contributors to open github repos in any token on @base.base.eth, pleased that it was considered "noteworthy" 😆 the agent autonomously reads merged PRs, scores them, resolves GitHub usernames to wallets via @quidli, buys the reward token via @bankr if it's short and then pays out from its own server wallet (caps are enforced in code and by the wallet itself, so a prompt-injected PR can't pay the wrong person or overspend) repo is open, you can check it out/implement it yourself here: https://github.com/justinquidli/contributor-payout https://x.com/bankrbot/status/2103149196710936672

How does $POOF help $DEGEN? POOF’s main pool on Robinhood Chain is paired with DEGEN, giving traders a reason to use DEGEN too. Today, DEGEN saw $1.2M+ in volume on RH, more than its DEX volume on Base. POOF builds its community. DEGEN reaches new traders 🎩
